This tour was so much more than I expected. Unforgetable!

I was a little skeptical about a safari trip in Tanzania, but wow did Compass Safari ever blow me away. In 2016 I went for a 8 day trip with our guide Wilson, who took us all over the parks to show us many different types of wildlife, flowers, and spectacular scenery. I couldn't believe how good he was with small kids too, and in informing us of all the cool things to do and see around the area. I cannot recommend these guys enough, intact I have to as many people who will listen. Try these guys out, you wont' be disappointed!

Best Safari one could wish for
5/5

Looking for a Safari in Kruger National Park? Danielle and Brandon are the people you want to reach out for. They are the masterminds behind Shinzelle Safari and a great couple to say the least. We booked a three day Safari with them, and had a lovely time. Danielle made sure all our needs (food, transport, lodging) were met, and really made us feel welcome from day one (sadly, we did not get a chance to taste her famous Portuguese cooking). Brandon was our guide at the Safaris, and we could tell that he enjoys his work (and yes, its includes a whole lot of driving and waking up extremely early) and does it with all his heart. With over 10 years of guiding experience, his extended knowledge of wildlife is very authentic and we could tell he knew very well how to encounter the animals (made us feel very safe too). He was also keen to show us as much wildlife as possible, including "the big five" (we also listened to the lion radio ;-)). Nevertheless, the magic of the Safari that he guides lies (beyond the big cats) and in the details (we loved his bird facts), and he really conveyed to us the sense of respect and humility that we humans should feel before these beautiful and wild animals, and that has really made a lasting impression on us!
Dear Danielle and Brandon, we want to give you both a big thank you for this beautiful (5 star and 5 star worthy) experience, and we really hope that you continue doing Safaris for many many years to come as the passionate and hospitable people that we have met. Please also make sure to come visit us in Europe or Brasil. Best regards, Sophia and Ken

My tour guide Richie made my experience! I saw the big 5 the ugly 5 YOU NAME IT. They are so kind and accommodating. After the safari it felt like I had a second family in Kenya. It was indescribable and the best service. I cannot recommend this safari ENOUGH!

polite, safe, did everything to make the trip a memorable experience

The company is extremely responsive to questions sent by e-mail or Whatsapp. I did the day trip to Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda with a stop at the village on the Kampala - Masaka Road marking the equator line. The guide, who was a also the driver, was extremely safety conscious, courteous, and went out of his way to make sure the 1-day safari exceed my expectations. I highly recommend contacting East Africa Jungle Safaris for ventures in Uganda.

The perfect adventure of a lifetime! Benson safaris will always be my go to for the best of Africa.
5/5

Benson Safaris absolutely made her trip the most memorable one. Their hospitality, and the willingness to make our trip extraordinary, will not soon be forgotten. Peter was your tour guide, and I hope that when we return again next year, he will still be. I would recommend Benson safaris, for anyone looking to explore Africa, and have the best safari possible. Thanks again for everything.

Great Time, Great Adventure, Above what I Envisioned
5/5

We were going to Kenya to do some days of service for our company and I wanted to combine a safari as it has always been on my bucket list. I did quite a bit of research. Our travel agent gave me a couple of safari companies, but looking at them they were pretty expensive because they were out of country companies so the markup seemed high. I looked for local safari companies in Tanzania and came across Benson Safaris. We went with the luxury option, 7 day safari. The trip was above my expectations. Our guide, Peter, was knowledgeable, patient (let us stop whenever we wanted), had amazing eyesight (picked out things where we needed binoculars :) and fun. We went to three parks, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngoronomo Crater. Plan to spend a lot of time traveling from one park to another if you do this trip. Benson, the owner, was very responsive with updates, organizing etc. I highly recommend. this company!

Fantastic experience
5/5

I just came for this safari specially. The organization for my trip from airport to Massai Mara and back to airport was wonderful however time was at just to the limit.
The guide james. Was really experienced and expert. However this time is not the high season. But we almost saw all animals even those who don’t present in the high migration season.
Rhinos, lions, elephants, all birds, shetta, leopards, and others I don’t remember their names.
Highly recommended.

Unsurpassed safari experience
5/5

We had the privilege to be on a Rhulani Safaris photographic safari in the Greater Kruger National Park (GKNP). As South Africans, we have been to the GKNP many times before, so we thought we knew what to expect. We were wrong! This safari surpassed our wildest expectations. Everything was meticulously organised by our host, Armand Grobler, the owner of Rhulani Safaris. We stayed deep in the south of Manyeleti Game Reserve in a beautiful unfenced camp. This is raw and authentic Africa. The night sounds were deafening, from the rasping call of a leopard, hyenas whooping, lions roaring, to the prrrt-prrrt of the scops owls. Since there are few other lodges in this area we found all of the sightings without any assistance from other lodges and we were the only vehicle at most sightings. This meant we could stay at the sightings as long as we wished. And we were blessed with fantastic sightings!! We went from the heights of seeing a massive pride of lions walking in the road and a leopard drinking water next to our vehicle to the despair of seeing an injured lion cub being harassed by large male lions. At some point I wished we could press pause, since it was too overwhelming to experience all of this in such a short space of time. At each sighting, Armand ensured that our vehicle was perfectly positioned to make the most of the photographic opportunities. Rhulani means "peace" - not only did we have the peace of mind that our photographic dreams were in great hands, but we also discovered our own peace by being captured by the magnificence of nature. Thanks Armand and Rhulani Safaris!!
