Looks after you from start to finish
5/5

I have used Gamewatchers for my safaris in East Africa and have found them to be excellent. In Kenya I invariably use their Porini camps but I have found them great to book through in other countries also.

I was surprised at the critical review from Jaye and wondered why she did not contact the 24 hour Kenya emergency number that they provide. I have been on over 25 safaris and I know that sometimes things do not go to plan.
When my bags were lost by the airline I found Gamewatchers were more helpful than the airline - helping to resolve all the issues -
On another occasion a guest who I met on safari was unwell and they told me how well Gamewatchers had looked after them
They have always exceeded my expectations - their guides are really well trained and the client care is impeccable.

Excellent 9 Day Kenya Safari with Nkonge
5/5

We had a wonderful safari with African Paradise Safaris!
From the beginning, when we were still shopping around, John Peter was very responsive and helpful with getting our itinerary put together. I never had to wait long for answers to any questions that I had, and he was able to put together a great itinerary for us, at a very competitive price.

When we arrived in Nairobi, we were greeted by our guide, John (Nkonge). He was very friendly, and got us to our hotel safely, while explaining a little bit about Nairobi.

The next day we began our 9 day journey with John, and what a wonderful time it was! We went to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara, and Lake Nakuru. The entire time, Nkonge did everything in his power to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time. He was never intrusive, making sure to give us space and privacy, yet whenever we needed him for something, he was always available, or just seemed to be there. The main focus of the trip, of course, was the game drives, and Nkonge was determined to make sure we saw a good amount of wildlife. We saw 4 of the big five (no leopards, but we did see cheetahs), and we were thrilled with every sighting.

The vehicle was comfortable and felt safe. There was always bottled water for us in the van. We felt very safe, and well cared for the entire time, and we really enjoyed our time with Nkonge.

I would definitely recommend African Paradise Safaris!

Amazing Trip in Botswana with Phillimon and his crew !
5/5

Amazing 6 days in Botswana with Phillimon and his crew!
We are a family of three people. It was great that this was a private tour and that we weren't forced to travel with strangers who we might not get along with.

We were picked up in Maun and afterwards spend the first two nights on a small island in the Okavango Delta. This island is only accessible by Mokoro (a dugout canoe navigated and driven by locals of a nearby village) and the two-hour trip gliding through the side streams of the river was truly mesmerizing. Never have I felt this tranquil and relaxed.
Phillimon's Landcruiser brought us to the Moremi Reserve and afterwards to Savuti. Little did we know how much action and wildlife we were going to see in these four days.
Our days always started early and we saw dozens of big animals such as many lions (with their cute cubs, feeding on a hippo, roaring right into our faces, having injuries from the last night's hunt, hunting warthogs...), hyenas (waiting for the leopard to drop its prey down the tree or waiting very close to our camp site for us to go to sleep after dinner so they can search the camp area for food rests...). Once there was an "emergency" and he drove us during our and his lunch break to a great leopard sighting!) and he even found wild dogs
Phillimon Kamogelo is a great guide! He is a great driver and also ascertained that we always had the best position to take pictures of the animals. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about animals.
The equipment of the "Walking Stick Safari" company (tents, tables, toilets..) was throughout great and of good quality. We always had a very comfortable camp with everything we needed. The cook was able to cook delicious, healthy, vegetarian (our preference) food for us which gave us energy for the full, exciting days. The whole team was really friendly and helpful but thankfully not that fake kind of niceness! They seem like genuinely good, kind, smart and passionate young people. We felt very comfortable with them at any point of the trip and always felt safe and relaxed.

We can only recommend Phillimon Kamogelo and his Crew and we are even planning to do a four-week trip with Phillimon in the upcoming year!

Really awesome!
5/5

We had a really good time on our Tour in Uganda (QENP, Kibale, Mabira...). Thanks to the experience of our guides Twaha and Remmy we got up close to multiple lions, elephants and even a leopard (among all the other animals we got to see). The whole tour was really well organized and despite occasional rain we always managed to find wildlife. We stayed at great places and ate at nice restaurants. Not once did we have to wait for a longer period. Our guides were always friendly, great to talk to, helpful with all our questions and generally willing to walk the extra mile to give us an unforgettable experience. Can definitely recommend!!

Soloman the star
5/5

First I would say these guys Dennis, soloman and Lizzie are absolutely professionals, they donot have any loose ends.. they treat u as family..
As we were couple and bit hesitant in the beginning they helped us out to plan the trip supported us and gave us the confidence, we had a seven day tour with them and our guide was soloman and I would say he will do anything to get you the best sights in the Safari and guide u to the perfect locations. And Mr Dennis and Ms Lizzie were absolutely gems , what ever they do they do it as professionals no hidden costs, they said all the details of extra activities before we started our journey from the home country.

Unique off road Safari
5/5

We just came back in september from an amazing safari in the Northen part of Tanzania. We started our adevture from Lake Natron and then we visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Lake Natron is one of the most extraoadinary place I ever visited so far...We got in touch with the real Masai community! I really reccomend this local agency since they have been really professional in every stage of our trip. This adventure was perfectly planned since all the distances were well calibrated: we enjoyed every day a full day safari. Once on the field our guide Erik was taking care of us: he was very professional and a very good guide. Moreover we were sleeping in the properties of this agency: they have tented camps in lake Natron , Serengeti , Ngorongoro and Arusha. The lodge's quality was flawless! hope to came back soon... thanks a lot for everything!

Experience we will never forget
5/5

We took 3 day Selous safari with boat ride, park visit 4x4 and walking safari on last day. Mr. Donatus expained everything about safari trip via mail and he replied imediatelly on all my questions. It was first safari for us.
They pick up us in hotel in Dar on time at 7.30.
Wiliam, our guide, is a person with a lot of knowledge about park and history of TZ. We saw a lot of animals and it was a life experience.
Camp is basic, but beautifull. Tents with toilet and shower.
Food was delicious, better than we expected.
I reccomend this tour to everyone.
