Amazing - planned exactly how we wanted
5/5

I’m not sure even where to start as Dom(Domisiano) and the owner created our relationship from my first communication. I connected with him in 2018 and explained what I was looking for. He customized everything for our family. We continued communications as his planning started. No detail was left on the table.
We began our trip in Kampala and he picked us up at our hotel a few days later. We went Chimpanzee trekking. Stayed one night in a lodge that was also super fun, delicious food, great staff, and lots of memories. The trekking was successful as they were found in the forest and had fun finding and watching them. After our trekking, the second night was in Kampala and we went to the Ndere Center fir cultural performances. Amazing, colorful, and a definite must.
We then had one day on our own in Kampala and then we left with one of our daughters to spend the next two nights in Jinja. We had time in town, Dom set up a lunch at a place that our other daughter lives in Kampala had recommended. He also put a kayak trip together at the spur of the moment for our daughter. Don accompanied her and a guide and this was memorable for her. We did a sunset cruise and a cruise where Lake Victoria meets the Nile. Birds galore. There was so much to this including Caesar taking us to the market to buy spices, but just know it was incredible. An unforgettable experience.
We returned to Kampala for two more days. The last weekend we took our other daughter and went to Ssese Island. Again beautiful- relaxing as the weather was bad, but cleared up the second day later so we could enjoy a sunset on the beach, a bonfire and GREAT FISH.
Every place we stayed had amazing fish, sauces, and so many other things that would take a book to get it all in.
My recommendation is to contact Limitless and tell Dom what you want. He is a wonderful guy to spend time with, as well as Caesar who we all adored as well. I just can’t say enough so our whole family would just raise a glass and say CHEERS to them for making our trip awesome and memorable.

Bucketlist - Retirement Gift to Self!
5/5

Since forever, I have wanted to go on an African Safari. Through serendipitous connections, I was introduced to a lady who had travelled with GoTouchDown in the Spring of 2017 and absolutely raved about it. From start to finish I was not disappointed and everything that she had shared with me of her experiences were met and more... accept, perhaps, for some confusion around the mobile phone offered at the time.

My friend and I signed on for the Signature Tour with GoTouchDown. They took care of getting us an amazing deal on flights; accommodations were great including 3 meals a day (unheard of - and not a set menu ever!); staff were extremely personable and accommodating; and friends who are from SA said that the tour had captured all the highlights, and from my perspective in fine style!

We were told up front that other than tips (and they even suggested the amounts) there would be no additional costs. That was never my experience until this trip!

We were there in the SA spring and seeing new births in their natural habitat left me awestruck. South Africa, is beautiful, which is not of GoTouchDown's doing, but they certainly provided an experience that will last my lifetime. Since our return, both my traveling companion and I have had friends/family sign-up.

Thank you GoTouchDown.

Life-Changing, Immersive Experience Well Organised and Great Fun
5/5

My overland trip with Africa Explore Safaris was life changing. Quinton was an incredible guide. He is so knowledgeable and was always able to answer our questions and provide great context and background on the animals, fauna and flora we saw. He is an amazing cook too so the food was awesome and everything was organised with great attention to detail. Northing was overlooked. When we were out in the bush he made us all feel safe despite the fact we were so close to the wildlife. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his trips to anyone wanting to explore Africa and immerse themselves in this diverse culture.

Excellent Service
5/5

After selecting Safari Specialists, we spent the next two years communicating with Nadine, one of their agents. Nadine was able to understand our requests and make excellent suggestions. We never felt pressured into doing something we didn't want to do. I don't think one travel company is going to get you much better of a deal than any other (prices are set by the individual camps) however Nadine did find us a great deal at one camp that she knew was opening up and meet our needs. The real difference between travel companies is their ability to understand what type of safari you are looking for and availability to answer questions. Safari Specialists were top notch in both. Nadine not only helped us to arrange a perfect first time safari, she also happily answered all types of questions from us. It was amazing that in the middle of Botswana and Zimbabwe, with limited communications, every aspect of our safari was coordinated seamlessly. We had one company drive us to an airstrip, another company fly us to our next camp, and a third company pick us and deliver us to that camp. And not once did Safari Specialists fail us. I felt like someone was holding our hand and guiding us around southern Africa the whole time.

An excellent value and seamlessly run first time trip to Africa
5/5

The service offered by Roho Ya Chui and especially our point of contact, Ute, was nothing short of excellent. When we decided to visit Africa we had a rough idea of where we wanted to go, but no idea on how to get from one place to another, we also wanted to have a local expert help choose and arrange the accommodation instead of us relying on online hotel search engines. As is often the case for us when planning a trip, the parameters of what we were planning changed several times, and Ute handled all of these requests diligently and professionally, and after multiple different draft itineraries had been proposed and discussed we finally settled on a final option.

The service in country from the local agents didn’t disappoint either, we were met promptly for all transfers by reliable and courteous staff who went above and beyond in providing local knowledge and insight, allowing us to better understand and appreciate the areas we visited.

The safaris themselves were amazing, the variety and abundance of wildlife we got to see was staggering, and the high points were too many to list. Our drivers and guides were all deeply experienced, knowledgeable, fun, and most of all patient of the many questions we asked of them.

All in all the trip was memorable to a life changing degree and we can’t wait to go back to explore the continent further!

An unforgettable, amazing experience Gorilla Trekking
5/5

Experience Uganda arranged the trip of a lifetime for me. The booking process was easy, the information provided was clear and Kevin dealt with my endless questions so efficiently.
As a lone female traveller I wanted to make sure everything was arranged in advance and Kevin, and the team, dealt with everything faultlessly.
The guest house and lodge were fantastic, and the staff so welcoming and friendly.
Kevins, suggestion of trekking two different areas was perfect. It meant i had two different and amazing experiences and saw two completely different areas of the forest plus two totally different Gorilla families.
I have memories, and photographs, I will cherish forever.
I can't recommend Experience Uganda enough.

Awesome Once in A Lifetime Experience
5/5

My husband and I recently did a 7day camping and lodge safari with East African Safari and Touring Company. The experience of camping with the sounds of wildlife close by and waking up in a tent under an acacia tree in the Serengeti was an amazing experience. This trip was far too short but it did give us a taste of Tanzania and its wildlife we will definitely be returning in the future for another safari with friends and will again travel with Eastco, they were the best. Boundary Hill Lodge with is view had one of the nicest views from a hotel we have seen or stayed in, sitting on the veranda for evening drinks around the fire created a great atmosphere, with the night sounds in the distance and hearing the occasional roar of a lion.

The camp we stayed at in the Serengeti called pure Tanzania luxury was also great, the area for tents was very large and our cook was able to place us in a private space. The toilets and showers can be busy at times and we were glad we stayed in a lodge at Ngorongoro. The Toyota couldn't have done the job better well driven over really rough roads and room to move around in. I would really recommend this type of trip to anybody who wants adventure and a bit of comfort, camping and lodges provide excellent variety on safari you can really experience the African bush. Our cook and guide were wonderful and did everything to make this trip amazing, thanks to Eastco and the team we will surely be back.
