Great budget safari
I would like to underline great communication with super eagles, who are very responsive and if something goes wrong (we had a bad experience with one of the hotels) they seek for a solution and never leave you alone!
We had a great driver, John, who has great driving skills and who is very informative.
The accommodations were basic but this is what we excepted for the price (which is really competitive by the way). The food was good everywhere. The itinerary that we did during the 8 days was diverse and we were able to see different landscapes and lots of wild animals. Thank you!

We booked for a 3 day, 2 night mid-budget Maasai Mara safari tour as a party of two; a British foreigner and a Kenyan national. We found Jocky Tours (JT) after comparing various operators online and closely reading reviews where JT appeared as one of the highest and most rated operators in Nairobi. They did not disappoint.
Our tour guide was John who was charming and knowledgeable from the moment we left Nairobi until we returned. He was a safe driver throughout, always making good progress without ever risking passenger safety.
John clearly knew the Maasai Mara reserve like the back of his hand and quite what magic he used to locate the wildlife was beyond us. His masterful skills meant that during the two days of safari we saw, lions, a leopard, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, wildebeest, crocodiles, buffalo, topis, lilac-breasted rollers, numerous species of antelope, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs, ostrich, so many species of bird and much more. The only thing we didn’t get a sighting of was David Attenborough :))
Not only did John locate the wildlife with what seemed like supernatural ease, we were nearly always the first to encounter them before other vehicles arrived. John always ensured that we had a prime viewing positions for great photo opportunities. Instagram thanks him :)

We stayed for two nights at the Jambo Mara Safari Lodge. Our room was modern, clean and spacious with a balcony looking out to the Mara. It was quite cold in the room, early morning and late evening. The food was average and felt out of step with the overall quality of the hotel. An improvement here would be welcome.
Communication with Jocky Tours prior to booking was generally good although became slightly fractious when we asked for clarification over the tour itinerary whilst we were attempting to compare offers from competing operators of which there are many. On reflection, I think this may have been a misunderstanding and was quickly forgotten.
Overall, this was a 5 star tour experience and we would book with Jocky Tours again.

Very serious
we have done a round trip around Rwanda during 11 days. The driver / tourist guide was available anytime we needed. There have been no bad surprise only positive ones. The company did stick 100% to their commitment. We recommend them.

The 5-days Safari was a wonderful experience, indescribable and full of beautiful surprises from start to finish.

You can only write very nice things, I did not know morning star but I immediately inspired confidence with detailed program in pdf and digital format. From the beginning I had an excellent communication with Dennis immediately ready to answer any question or request.
He gave us the best guide I could have, John is a boy who loves his work madly and knows very well animals, places and customs. Always very polite with the right sense of humor.
I don’t know how it is possible but with every sighting of animals he could get the
Better visual workstation, thanks to him I took pictures that will envy me all!
At the end of the safari it was difficult to separate from John, now our brother, companion of adventures, dinners and laughter!
Thanks also to Dennis who during the trip sent some messages to know if everything was okay, he organized a 10-star trip, luxurious accommodation, clean and super organized.
This is not a goodbye but see you again and I will contact Dennis and John again to relive a dream!

Shafik is a very good guide. A save driver, with cool ideas :) he is very polite and very good on time. He is very careful and try to make the best deal for everyone.
Funny guy and he knows a lot about the nature and the animals. Very spontaneous. He is doing a very good job. Next time here in Uganda we will definitely book only tours whit Shafik!

An incredible experience seeing the beauty of Tanzania.
I could not recommend Serengeti African Tours more highly. My brother and I had a fantastic experience from start to finish with the team, making for a really memorable safari (Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro) and trip to Materuni Waterfalls.
We started our trip with the waterfalls - a very worthwhile excursion, a stunning village and scenery and wonderful people. Our guide, Kelvin, made sure our trip went smoothly and was thoroughly enjoyable. From his flexibility around logistics to suit us, to sharing his knowledge of Tanzania along the way, to capturing our day in lovely photos, he went above and beyond. Thank you, Kelvin!
The safari itself exceed our expectations. Communication with Lucas was clear and prompt throughout the booking process, ensuring all of our needs were met. Our guide, Danford, was outstanding - his knowledge of the national parks was unmatched and love of his work evident. We saw the big five multiple times over (and saw the Great Migration), and learnt so much from his expertise. He made the experience a very special one, huge shoutout to Danford! Richard also accompanied us, keeping us very well fed and ensuring our tents were set up and well equipped. Thank you so much, Richard!
We camped throughout, with one night in a lodge. The campsites chosen were very well situated with beautiful scenery, spacious and clean. Staying in the heart of national parks was a unique and exciting opportunity that I would recommend!

Top notch
The experience as a whole was behind our expectations... All the natural parks and protected areas that we visited were absolutely amazing. Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater seem unreals, drown by the fantasy of a visionary artist.
Our guide, Mandela, was just top notch: professional, available, capable of answering any type of question about nature, animals, history and local culture.
We had the opportunity to spot all kind of animals: lions, cheetahs, elephants, a leopard, buffalos, hippos, birds of any shape and colours, gnus, jackals, etc etc...
We booked a mid range 5 days safari but all the accomodations were way above mid-range level. We spent 2 nights in the Suricata Boma lodge, an amazing place just in front of the waters of Manyara Lake. One of the best hotel where I stayed in my all life. The third night was in a luxury tended camp in the middle of Serengeti and the last night was in Tortilis camp, an unbelievable place in the middle of a pluvial forest on the slopes of Ngorongoro crater, surrounded by several Masai villages. Just magic.
Last but not least, the food was always delicious, both the lunches during the game driving and the dinners in the lodge and camps.
