Excellent service and very knowledgeable
5/5

Everything was very well planned. We were told what to expect and how to go about the day. Robinson , our driver and guide, was phenomenal. Not only did Robinson navigate the some of the bumpy roads well, he went onto make sure we felt safe during the protests in Kenya while we were on the tour.
I would highly recommend Marurumi safaris.

Wonderful people for a fantastic holiday
5/5

A great emotion, the one I experienced on June 15th at 6:12 in the morning, when I reached Uhuru Peak, the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Five days of ascent, to reach those 5895m, done every now and then with the doubt of not being able to make it, of being overcome by altitude sickness. But, pole pole (slowly in Swahili) we arrived to enjoy the dawn of a new day and, why not, of a new me.
All of this would not have been possible without the fantastic Eco Africa Climbing Team. A group of guys who made us feel part of a family from day one, people always available to help with any difficulty or need. Throughout the trek they spoiled us with abundant and always different meals, which was certainly not easy for them from a logistical point of view. Every time we reached the camp they were ready to wait for us with hot tea and the tent ready, even when the weather conditions were not the most favorable. They always supported us morally with songs and dances and this too certainly helped us achieve our goal. Each of them deserves a big THANK YOU, with the hope of being able to meet them again in the future for a new adventure.
Thanks also go to Fredrick for all the availability shown in supporting us with the transfers and for having changed the Safari program at the last moment to allow us to take our return flight, without giving up anything of our adventure.

Excellent private tour with an amazing guide
5/5

We did a private tour last april with David from Il Tramonto del Africa and it was just amazing. We visited Samburu, Nakuru, Masai Mara, Naivasha and Amboseli. We loved all the parks and David takes care of all the details and made everything we visited a true adventure! I'd highly recommend him, as his the perfect local guide everyone wants to have to live a true local journey.

Amazing experience!
5/5

Amazing once in a lifetime experience, we booked this trip as a young couple the company are fab and organise everything for you coming up with an itinerary for each day and sorting our accommodation.

On arrival our tour guide Patrick picked us up from our hotel and we set off for our week long trip. Patrick was really knowledgeable and we managed to find the big 5 within the first few days! His experience of the reserves was great he knew where to find the animals, Very friendly and informative tour guide I would 110% recommend.

We specifically looked for a company that provided a car with canvas windows to roll up for a better view, before our arrival the company had the car in the garage to arrange this for us, great customer service giving us the best experience! Thankyou very much!

Amazing and affordable private safari, 5N in Moremi and Khwai
5/5

We had an amazing experience with Gideon and his team. We chose African Jacana Safaris because we wanted to support a small, local business. We did a custom, private, non-participatory mobile camping trip -- 3N in Moremi, then 2N in Khwai, beginning and ending in Maun. There were 3 staff plus 1 guide for just the 2 of us! We did a motorboat ride in the Xakanaxa area, and a mokoro at Hippo Pool campsite in Khwai. We had excellent communications leading up to the tour, and it was an amazing value for money. Once I figured out how to transfer money (I ended up using xe with zero issues), everything went super smoothly -- they were very patient with me as i sorted it out! The food was 5* -- we have also stayed at a Kwando lodge and food with African Jacana was even better. The tent was super comfortable, easy to stand and maneuver and was en-suite with a bush toilet. We had hot water twice a day in our 'sinks', and hot showers a couple of afternoons. The beds were quite comfortable- cots with 4" mattresses, great pillows, and plenty of warm blankets. Oh, and a hot water bottle at night, and an extra blanket to take on the chilly morning game drives We had tea in the most amazing places during our morning game drives, and wine (included) around the campfire every evening. The truck was great -- reliable, plenty of room, good inverter for charging phones/camera batteries. Oh and the game drives were absolutely amazing!! We saw so much, and we were able to get amazing photos. Thank you, AJS!

Best time of the life with Julius, but pre-tour communication from the company can be improved!
4/5

We had a blast on this tour with Julius, exploring the mainland Tanzania. He was a funny and informative guide, and very accommodating. We started early and often ended late, and he not only ensured we were comfortable, but also ensured that we were getting the best experience! Thanks to him, we managed to see all the big 5 - and the cheetah hunting as well! Stuff of dreams! Really appreciate you Julius!

Couple of things which I wasn't a fan of:
1. The communication before the trip from the company was very sporadic which made us a bit nervous (there was no proactive comms around our upcoming trip)
2. The daily meals (especially if you are vegan/vegetarian) were very basic, and often without a protein.

Joagro Safaris -reliable, professional and good value for money!
5/5

We had an experience of a lifetime with our driver/guide Anuar in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro! Anuar had a lot of knowledge about the animals, nature and culture. We completed the big five and had loads of animal spottings. The accommodations were also great, the jeep good and everything went smoothly.
Communication with the owner, Jonas, was very good right from the beginning. I got prompt answers to all my inquiries. He was also super understanding when my pre-payment didn't come through on the first try. He also made an effort to come and meet us in Tulia hotel and chat with us. He really takes good care of his customers and is 100% reliable. I checked the tour options in safaribookings.com throghouly and Joagro's 6-day private safari for two persons was clearly the best value for money.
I highly recommend Joagro safaris! It's a privately owned small local company so you can be sure to get personalized service. Thank you so much Jonas and Anuar for giving us an experience to remember!

Sylvia & great guy JOHN (guide) very professional, knowledgeable, lots a patience & great humour
4/5

Overlall the trip was good, safari, accomodation, food etc.except the concept of africa you build over years through books, TV, social media etc. seen herds of wild elephants, giraffs etc. you dont see at every safari. lake manyaara was VERY AVERAGE - just saw few animals every 30 mins or so! one giraff in a the bush at a distance. few lone bulls - pachyderms. A better choice would have beeen Tarangire. ngorongoro crater was really good you see varieties of wild life, birds and ungulates. again no herds of elephants! The food at stays and packed food were great. Recommend highly Green Mountain hotel. rhino and leapards very rare.

It's advisable for the company FIRST requests the tourist what their requrements are, instead of offering a standard package, Will never recommend lake manyaara safari. Prabably the best place to see wild life is serengeti.

Just a word about Sylvia the contact at Monkey - excellent communiactor with effective prompt action.

Arusha you except to be hot but it's cool. you need a jumper/sweater- a hot tea/coffee in a themos would have been great during safari.
