awesome, enriching experience
5/5

The full experience was great and went above our expectations. Romeo (the manager) was very helpful when organizing everything and responded all our e-mails in a timely manner.
We had Amos as our guide and he was extremely professional. We even saw a caracal (it is a very hard to spot wild cat, so rare that another group was next to us but their guide didn't even know the animal and they just moved on not being to interested). I would totally recommend visiting the bushmen and the blacksmith tribes. Both experiences were really culturally enriching, especially with the blacksmith tribe.

We have seen all the animals we were hoping to see when we left home with only one exception, the rhino, despite all the efforts the guide has made in order to make it possible. Another thing that we appreciated was how he was able to read animal's behavior: several times it happened to have other safari cars around us and if they were already there by the time we arrived in that spot that means they had a better viewpoint. That changed fast because our guide was clever enough to anticipate what the lion/leopard will do in order to be ahead of them and enjoy watching them in their natural habitat.
In the end of the trip, we had one night at lake Natron which I can't say was a must do. As an advice for other tourists I would suggest to spend more time in Serengeti and skip Lake Natron (especially if you get to see Lake Easy before, both are very similar and people at lake Natron were only trying to get more money out of your pockets), even if this means spending more hours on the road for the returning to Arusha.
Also, not to forget mentioning the food which was tasty and according to our preferences.

I would recommend this trip to anyone who is a nature/animal lover and wants some cultural experience as well.

Thank you,
Ionut Cirlan

Darren gave superb advice and had excellent communication. Every query we had was answered promptly and nothing was any problem. Just what we needed visiting Africa for first time.

Excellent trip with Ancient Wild Safaris
5/5

Our family tour to Kenya on this September-October was really a lifetime experience. Travelling through the wild grasslands of East Africa was like a fantasy. But dreams come true sometimes. Lion, giraffe, zebra, ostrich, cheetah, rhino, elephant, buffalo, deer, wildebeest- thus, the list continues. Actually, it can't be expressed after roaming through a wonderland.
And all this happened with a hassle free experience and 'Ancient Wild Safaris' is entirely responsible for that. Nice arrangements were made for us at Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha, Amboseli and Nairobi. The choice of hotels, resorts and tents were very comfortable as well as the car. And this combined with the friendly attitude of our friends from 'Ancient Wild Safaris'. Before our tour, Mike tirelessly helped us by answering all the detailed questions. He planned a fine itinerary for us. That made the tour. Along our tour Paul and Patrick guided us. They are so nice, that it could not be better.
So, I recommended 'Ancient Wild Safaris' to my friends. And, if next time to Africa, my choice will be definitely the same.

Amazing Experience!!!!
5/5

We had an unforgettable tour of Kenya. We were five family members including my seven-year-old son. This was one of my dreams to travel and see the wonderful parks of Kenya. We traveled with three different guides Robinson, James and last but not the least Peter, all of them are fantastic guides. Thank you, Mr. Otieno for all the arrangements and efforts to make our trip a successful one. He upgraded our stay from Lake Nakuru lodge to Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, which was a pleasant surprise. All the parks Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha were a fantastic experience. I will also like to specially mention about the last day walking safari at Green Crater Lake, our guide Anna was very knowledgeable, I enjoyed walking through the jungle and enjoy wildlife. I would surely recommend them for Safaris in East Africa. For me, they will be my guides for any of my future tour to East Africa.

Excellent service, smooth, safe ,reliable, Encompass do all the hard work we just enjoyed Africa !
5/5

The trip of a life time with so much to remember. All the hard work was done by Jono and his team.
Nothing was left to chance it could not have been better, simply faultless. All transfers were effortless and on time we were never left wondering what happens next.
We did 5 Safari parks which we think might have been 1 too many even though each one was quite unique and had different things to offer. The Garden Route was amazing and wish we could have spent a bit more time there.
All the accommodation organised for us was better than we could have hoped for, a real treat, glam camping at its best.

Review about Serengeti National Park by vicente

The Serengeti national park is the place to go for a safari. We saw all the big five animals. The wildebeests crossing the Mara River was unforgettable. Everywhere you turned, there was life. It is truly a place like no other.

The scenery in the Ngongoro Crater is like no other I've ever seen. There's something surreal about being in the crater. Everything is coexisting with one another. One of my personal favorites places on the planet is the Ngoitokitok Picnic area. Enjoying lunch and a coffee there; it's like something out of a dream. I highly recommend going on a hike on the crater rim, guided by the local rangers. We took a 2 hour hike with our guides and enjoyed talking with them as well as the sceneries. Inside the crate, we saw most of the animals except for the rhino and the giraffe (although we did see some giraffes just outside the crater). Our safari guide was from Gosheni Safaris, great guide and company. We stayed just outside the crater at the Ngongoro Farm House, a very high end lodge.

About: Tanzania
Fantastic Safari: Great sights and accomodation
Overall rating
5/5

We had a great 4 day safari with Souk of Tanzania. Pius was a great guide; very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. All accommodation was great, and I would highly suggest adding The Retreat, to your recommended offerings. Food was also very good, and having hot lunches every day was a very nice touch. All the game drives were very good, and we saw loads of animals. The only comment I have about the drive itself would be to try to minimise the amount of time spent driving between Ngorongoro and Serengeti, as that road is very unpleasant. Not sure if this road is avoidable or if there is another route on the return, but I recognise it may have been necessary due to our itinerary. I would also not recommend the optional add on nature walk near the Manyara Serena. While we were asking to do a walk, this specific add-on was quite boring and uninteresting.
Otherwise great trip, and I would highly recommend Soul of Tanzania to anyone.
