Did the camping safari and it was amazing. Hearing the animals at night was fascinating.
Our guide, LT, was great. He would follow the lion paw prints to find us a lot of lions. Many times we were the only ones watching them. Sarah and Gordy were great moving the camps from site to site and the meals were great as well.
The night game drives were fascinating at Khwai Concessions. Saw some animals and an owl we otherwise wouldn’t have seen.
Lucky was very responsive in my emails prior to the safari which was very comforting.

SIBU IS AMAZING. Genuine, fun, charming, wise man. A pure soul.
We did the shuttle. The ride from Hoedspruit to Johanesburg was fantastic. I had to move in front with Sibu, the driver, because we started a chat and was so good I needed to chat with him more. He is such a Knowledgeable man. I came to Africa with my family. Has always been a dream to visit this country. But I wanted to understand more and really go in depth with the culture. Meeting Sibu was a highlight of the trip!
This 5 hour drive flew! The conversation was so so interesting. Sibu knows all 11 languages from South Africa!
He also has an amazing taste of music and explained South African music I have always loved but didn’t understand.
The vibe in the bus was so good. Everyone that joined the bus tuned in.
But not only was an amazing time. Sibu helped me the day after picking up stuff I forgot in the lodge and brought it to JH. Im so grateful. It was a big mission brining my stuff back. I couldn’t be more grateful to have met Sibu. It’s rare meeting people that barely know you that will go off their way to give a hand. GRACIAS GRACIAS GRACIAS

Excellent place with great potential
Magnificent sceneries. Mosquitoes are NOT an issue if you travel in May (dry season) - we only noticed a small handful throughout our 12+ day trip. Even sunscreen seemed not so necessary because our trips often involved shades from cars, boats or under trees. (do bring it though).
Bush vibe:
Pros: Dirt roads, huge unfenced parks, mostly no mass tourism accommodations. Very few tourists in central kalahari.
Cons: Some self-drive tourists using their own cars and not contributing to the local economy. More tourists in Chobe.
Unfortunately a lot of garbage, like everyone on this fragile planet.
Overall a definitely worthwhile visit!

Beautiful place, friendly people!
I greatly enjoyed my tour of Uganda. Uganda has a variety of terrain, from savannas to mountains. I visited Murchison Falls and the national park, then Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Bwindi Inpenetrable Forest for a mountain Gorilla trek. All stunning. The people of Uganda are very friendly and even as a solo traveler I always felt safe. I would very much recommend Uganda as a destination.

Do not miss travel destination
Safari in Kenya was an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience. My friend and I went on a 4 day safari from Nairobi to Masai Mara and Nakuru. Masai Mara is a huge African savannah full of wildlife. On our first day in the park we saw 4 of the Big 5 within just a few hours. Nakuru is a smaller park centered around a lake home to over 300 species of bird. It is also one of the best places in the world to see rhinos. We saw several black and white rhinos during our day in the park. In between both parks we also made a stopover at a different lake where we took a boat ride to see hippos in the water and take a walking safari on the lake's peninsula. The walking safari was one of my favorite moments from the trip. We were within 15 ft of zebra and giraffes. I highly recommend not to miss the incredible wildlife this destination has to offer.

Not that many animals during our stay, in May (dry season). But amazing sceneries, and few other people there. Lots of birds.

Nakuru is one of the best places in the world to see endangered black and white rhinos.
