Landside are the best !
5/5

We found Kilimanjaro Heroes while researching tour companies to climb Kilimanjaro and who could organize safari's. Landside Adventures were cheaper than the competition with great reviews and it turns out there is no sacrifice to quality. From the start of the trip to the end they were always helpful, treated us with great respect, and did their best to ensure we had a memorable trip.

We did Machame (6 days), our guides Keddy and Elias were full of knowledge and also had such a relaxed attitude it rubbed off on us and helped us be comfortable with what we were undertaking. The rest of the crew as well were faultless. Keddy also provided great tours of Arusha city and Hot springs for relatively modest fees.

On the safari, Mohamed and Nickolaus are a great team, Mohamed is a funny man, and knows how to get close to the action. Nickolaus's food is excellent and much appreciated after the long 'African massages' of the roads.

While their website contains a lot of information, I'd also recommend looking at others for information such as gear and tips.
If you are comparing several companies, you've found the right one here. Feel free to message me if you have any questions about them.

‘The safari experience was memorable!’ ‘Just spent the most amazing week on Safari with African Para
5/5

Well organised and the opportunity to see lots of different wildlife and scenery. Saw loads of lions, a leopard on day 1, cheetahs, chased by hippos, and the amazing migration which has to be seen to be believed. Special shout out to our guide Isa who was absolutely awesome. Nothing was too much trouble and he looked after us all so well and ensured we always got prime position for seeing all the animals. Would definitely do again and would insist on Isa as my guide!’

WOW.....
5/5

Our original camp lost it's concession and we were informed from our Travel Agent a few weeks prior to arrival in Botswana that we would now be in a mobile camp. Not sure what this exactly meant, our group had a bit of trepidation as we made our way to our "mobile camp" on the 1st of 3 days. I'm sure Rob, our host and owner of Golden Africa could see the uncertainty in our faces as we sat down for a cool drink and our orientation. He kindly explained the camp rules and guidelines and after our 1st night we were in LOVE with our all of the staff, accommodations, surroundings and the beauty of being on the land with no electricity, wifi or other modern day trappings.

Early in the morning hours, before the sun has even given rise, the smell of camp fire starts the day and you know water is being heated for showers and breakfast is being readied. Quietly the camp staff makes their way to each tent, filling outside basins with fresh warm water and saying "Good Morning, your shower is ready".....Slowly the day begins.

The heart of Africa is not only in the vast open land, the free roaming animals that we all come to see, but deep in the grooves of it's people's kind and generous souls.

We miss our time with Rob and his staff, incredible and unexpectedly prepared gourmet meals, laying in our cozy tent at night hugging our hot water bottle, listening to the sounds of animals nearby and awaking to that wonderful smell of camp fire and the warm "Good Morning"......

Thank you Rob and all of your staff for the memorable 3 days of living in the quietness of Botswana.

My amazing surprise experience.
5/5

I was lucky enough to won a trip on Safari Occasions Facebook page. From the time I won the prize Wilna from Safari Occasions has been in contact with me. They asked me for dates that I am available for my trip to Wild Ivory Eco Lodge. They arragend everything for me and my husband. And made me feel special the whole time even as I went to collect the papers for the trip. On 15 June me and my husband went to Wild Ivory Eco Lodge, we were so excited. The place is breathtakingly beautiful. The moment we arrived we were greeted by smiles and heartfelt welcomes. Our lodge looked over a waterhole were the Zebra's came to drink water. It was peacefull and we got to relax alot. We had game drives in the morning and afternoon and even if we did not see alot of animals as in winter times the animals are in hiding. It was still amazing. We were treated to the best food I ever ate, from steak to kingkilp and tasty desserts. The weekend was the best experience me and my husband had. I want to thank every one at Safari Occasions and Wild Ivory Eco Lodge for the unbelievable experience.

About: Expatrips
Expatrips is the best!!
5/5

I had the best time in Uganda with a trip of Expatrips. Martin (guide) made sure I had a wonderful time and that all was arranged for!!
This included a tailor made itinerary, stops whenever I desired, extended game drives etc., etc.

Special thanks go out to my guide Martin, he made the trip! He was always making sure I was having a good time, always looking after me concerning my needs, very talkative and just a fun person to roadtrip with. Furthermore, he had detailed knowledge about Uganda's (and even all of East Africa's) flora and fauna and was able to spot a variety of birds, wildlife (including the Big Five), and trees and plants. I can truly say that I came as a client and left as a friend. I'll be missing my brother from another mother!

Overall I can highly recommend Expatrips in case your looking for an adventure in Uganda. Their variety in trips and options for these trips includes something for every type of traveler and their care taking and high service level will surely not let you down!!

Photographic Experience
5/5

We were a group that loves photography so they prepared a tour that met all our expectations . The boat and jeeps were prepared with mounted cameras with long zooms so we could use them
And accomplish great pictures. We spent a week in Botswana and every minute of it was worth it. We ended our tour with four days in Cape Town
