Memorable 10-day safari experience in Tanzania
We had our first ever Safari trip with Savannah Explorers, with Nickson being our guide. The experience was beyond amazing.
We went for 10 days, places we went including Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Lake Natron. Micky helped us arranged our trip, and he was responsive and professional.
Our guide was Nickson, who is the BEST guide. We were able to see all the big 5 but even more, including cheetah hunting, baby lion cubs, and wildebeest crossing. We felt very lucky to have him as our guide!
During our trip, we stayed in Ngorongoro Marera Moutain View Lodge, Serengeti Kifaru Tented Lodge, Mara Pure Migration Camp and Lake Natron Tented Camp. All the places were super clean and the staffs were so nice that made us felt warm welcomes. And not to mention that foods were amazing too!

Very well organised and varied
The tour was amazing. The organisation was very good and we found the trip itinerary was very varied and perfect. Our guide Gama was amazing and so good at finding animals on the safaris and telling us about them. He was very friendly and super knowledgeable which made the trip so memorable. Thank you Lion King and Gama for such an amazing trip that we will remember forever.

Great programme and great guide
We had 9 fantastic days - not even one problem - everything went very smoothly, and was well organised . we saw many animals, some cultural part as well. The tour altogether was very well balanced . We really enjoy the company of our guide Gama who was great , very pro and also full of humour . I would highly recommend a tour which mix safari , cultural and some hikes like waterfalls

Thanks so much Natasha for arranging such a superb trip to Zimbabwe for us, for always getting back to us when you said you would, and for putting up with a multitude of questions from us.
Our 3 nights on the house boat in Kariba was perfect. Our next stop was Mana Pools Safari Lodge which provided excellent accommodation, guided walks and close up viewings of lion, wild dogs and elephants - at our doorstep.
You were so helpful and a joy to liase with - thank you for a 10 out of 10 trip.

We are 5 friends, and the mountaineering company assigned a team of 17 people, including 3 guides. Every one of them is very friendly, enthusiastic and responsible. They played a very important role in our entire mountain climbing process. Without their help, I think it would be impossible to reach the top. An experience that will last a lifetime.

Professional, understanding operator that met all our needs.
Very good and effective communication from the beginning of the booking-proces, before the trip and even during the Safari. The operator did their best to meet our needs and we had a wonderfull time.
The operator met us at our hotel the day before the Safari to give us some practical information about the tour and answer all our questions.

N’tee was wonderful and easy to work with. His guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The vehicle and boat were clean and comfortable. We did a private tour and it was worth every penny got to spend as long or as short as we wanted watching the animals!

Bad car and non-professional drivers
Bad cars, bad car driver.!!The car and driver used in Kenya are worse, the driver not professional and always keep using his phone even when he is driving. The car used in Kenya is worse, compared with Tanzania, the car seats are bad, very dusty inside and no cleaning. Also, the arrangements of the transfer between Kenya and Tanzania is horrible. The drivers always late, if you told us to wake up early and leave at 5:45am, we won’t suppose for an hour waiting of the another driver . During the whole trip, only one driver in Tanzania is good, helpful and diligent.

Fabulous trip!
I am just back from a 13-day trip to Nxai Pan, Chobe and the Okavango Delta.
I did not choose a glamping trip on purpose, so I was very pleasantly surprised by the high level of service and attention to detail by the company and crew. All our needs were attended to with speed, courtesy and forethought. The food sometimes reached gourmet level.
The tents were comfortable and outfitted with a bathroom extension featuring a chemical toilet and bucket shower. And the truck was as comfortable as can be expected on dirt and sand roads that are terrible even under the best of conditions.
I was astounded by the variety of wildlife we encountered. I hesitate to mention this as not everyone will be as lucky, but we spotted more than 25 lions (two of which were nursing cubs), a few leopards (including cubs) and more elephants, giraffes, hippos and antelope than I can recall. At one point, our driver, Solly, followed lion tracks directly to two huge males that were lolling in the grasses.
While there were two long traveling days that were NOT high on my list of highs, I cannot recommend this trip and this company enough. I am sure that my traveling companions - whom I did not meet until this trip - would agree. This was their 13th trip to Africa, and eight of them have been with Penduka.
