Wonderful Safari, Professionally organised
In August 2024 Brilliant organised a Safari for my family and myself, a party of 5 people. It was an 8 day Safari starting in Arusha. We visited Tarangire National Park staying at Acacia Farm Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater staying at Manyara Serena Lodge, central Serengeti staying at Serengeti Pure Tented Camp then on to northern Serengeti staying at Nyikani Migration Camp. We flew back from the central Serengeti to Arusha and thought that that was a good idea as it avoided a long drive over sometimes bumpy roads.
The safari was very professionally organised for us and we received all the information we required before the Safari. This was very helpful to us. The organisation was excellent and all went exactly to plan. Following this plan you do need to be prepared for some long drives over sometimes rough roads.
All of the parks were worthwhile as each had its special features. But of course the highlight was the Wildebeest migration in the Northern Serengeti. However we did find that the number of tourist there was a bit overwhelming. But we had an excellent driver/guide named George. He was very knowledgeable, very hard working and excellent at positioning us just right so we saw all the animals, some up very close.
All of the accommodation was first class and the staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and entertaining with their renditions of "Jumbo Jumbo". We could easily have stayed longer at each of our accommodation places if we had had more time. We particularly enjoyed the tented camps where the atmosphere was very authentic and the staff exceptional.
Overall we had a first class Safari

Bob was thoughtful, kind and patient!
What a Wonderful experience! We did the 3 night 4 day safari. They picked us up at the Arusha airport where we were joined by 2 others from Portugal and another 2 from Germany, we had a great "safari Family."
We had a long drive the first day, got to know each other, and saw some animals. We stayed at great accommodations, and the first night was great! They were wonderful and even gave us a sweet setup to be recognized for being on our honeymoon. They were brick buildings, almost looked comparable to dorm buildings. The room was GIANT. We had our own balcony and bathroom and huge bed. All places we stayed at had mosquito nets, which we appreciated.
We also had a chef/cook with us for each day that made lunch for us. We had breakfast and dinner at the lodging, all yummy, and we were not disappointed by anything. Innocent was a great chef. He made amazing meat, veggie, and rice dishes, the mango juice was my favorite, though they never kept it cold, which was just not that big of a deal lol
The days we went out Bob was great! He made sure we got to see all the animals that we wanted and more. Warthogs, giraffes, elephants, many different birds, ostriches, zebras, water buffalo, lions, heeynas, gazelles and much more. Bob made sure we got to see Leoparde's, we saw 2, one faar away and another much closer, hanging in trees resting.
We had lions walk right next to our jeep, SO COOL. Elephants eating right next to the road, so sweet and a baby who was talking to us, or more so scared b/c of the noise of the vehicle. We ALSO got to see Cheetahs, Bob did an AWESOME job, he stopped and asked SO MANY other drivers/cars if they had seen them, probably for close to an hour before we found some hanging out by a tree, it was awesome!
We got lucky on the last day and got to see some Servals, dog sized cheetah looking cats, they were so cute playing in the Ngorongoro crater area. we really wanted to see the BIG 5 and we saw a Rhino SUPER far away through our binoculars, which was great to count, but not as close of a look as we hoped for.
Overall WONDERFUL tour company, communicative, made sure we were fed, had LOTS of water and beverages every day throughout the trip, our tour guide, Bob was great, Innocent was very sweet as well and we got very lucky with the group we had "safari family" for the 4 days!

Incredible safari with the BEST guides!!!
Wow! What an amazing experience! Axis Safari was a great tour operator with excellent communication over Whatsapp. Everything was well organized and professional. But, I have to recognize our amazing guide Roger and his intern Wyclef! They are excellent guides!!! It makes such a difference when you have a good guide. We saw other tourists who were NOT able to see animals in Mara. Thankfully we had experienced guides who knew all the tricks so we ALL of the BIG 5! Thank you again.

Adventure
The safari was enjoyable and well-organized. We met wonderful people and had excellent guides. Heavenlight was very responsive and reassuring, taking care of everything for us—arranging the safari, hotels, managing our luggage, and answering all our questions. Bulldozer, our safari guide, was engaging and knowledgeable about the animals. He kept the experience lively with stories, jokes, and ensured our comfort with breaks and snacks.

Professional, passionate and reliable. Great safari experience!
We had a wonderful 3 day safari experience with Laxatrails Safaris. Firstly the communication up front with Peter, went really smooth. We received quick answers to our questions and our wishes were taken into account
On the day of pick up we’ve met with our tourguide, who was also named Peter. During our ride to the Maasai Mara Peter told us not only about the wildlife, but also about the Kenyan culture and habits. A nice introduction of the country!
The first day we went to a Maasai tribe near Enkorok Mara Camp (where we stayed). We were welcomed by the tribe with a tradional dance and then got a tour through the Maasai village by one of the members. He told us all about their traditions and how they life. A very interesting way of learning more about the Maasai tribe.
The next day we had a whole day of safari planned. We woke up early and headed to the Maasai Mara. Which was in one word wonderful! The park met all our expectations and thanks to Peter we’ve spotted more wildlife then we dreamed of. Lions, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, cheetahs, giraffes, baboons and many more. We even saw two cheetahs live in action hunting for some prey. During the game drive Peter gave us a lot of information about the different animals and birds along the way.
The last day we went for a boat drive at Lake Naivasha, which was a relaxing way of ending our three day safari, before being dropped off at our next hotel.
Thanks for the great experience Peter and Peter!
