Good itinerary, but needs better guides
We really appreciated the itinerary options and help leading up to our safari by the company. We didn’t love the accommodation provided in Maasai Mara for 3 nights, but the rest were really nice. We saw amazing wildlife and enjoyed how beautiful the countries were, which is the reason for the 3 stars. But our guides/drivers were not good in either Tanzania or Kenya. They seemed moody and overworked. They actually mentioned how tired they were and one guide worried us with how they were acting. For the price, we wouldn’t recommend this company based on the guides they used.

We’ve just returned from a 3-day safari with Suricata Safaris, and we honestly cannot recommend them highly enough! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless, warm, and incredibly well-organized.
As soon as we got to our hotel, Daniel from the Suricata team was there to meet us with a smile, ready to brief us on our adventure through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. His professionalism and friendliness immediately put us at ease. He was also there to debrief us at the end, which made the whole experience feel so well-rounded and personal.
A massive shout-out to Chef Mr. James, who prepared the most amazing meals for us at the campsites—every dish was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. We were blown away by the quality of the food, especially considering we were on a budget safari.
Speaking of the campsites, they were far beyond what we expected for budget accommodation. They had hot water showers, a café with ice cream and chocolate, and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel completely comfortable after long days of exploring. At night, we saw zebras and water buffalo wandering near the campsites—a surreal and magical experience. And nothing can prepare you for the night sky in the Serengeti—we have truly never seen so many stars. It was breathtaking.
Our guide, affectionately known as Rasta Man, was incredible. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of the parks, a sixth sense for spotting wildlife, and a warm, infectious personality that made our trip unforgettable. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five, and so much more. He told us at the beginning: “You arrive as strangers and leave as family”—and that couldn’t be more true.
Booking was also super easy and stress-free, with Jackson being incredibly helpful and responsive via WhatsApp. Any questions we had were answered almost instantly, and the whole process felt personal and smooth from start to finish.
Thank you, Suricata Safaris, from the bottom of our hearts. You gave us an experience we will never forget. We’re leaving a little piece of ourselves in Tanzania, and we’re taking with us the memories of a truly magical adventure.

Professional, well-organized, and deeply experienced — delivered an exceptional experience
We booked the 8-day, 7-night safari tour and it was truly unforgettable. We saw an incredible number of animals — from lions mating, to a buffalo being taken down, to a cheetah chasing antelopes — it felt like we were inside a nature documentary.
Our driver Maurice was outstanding — experienced, calm, and with an incredible sense of direction and judgment. He always knew where to go and what to look for, and made sure we didn’t miss a single highlight.
The accommodations and meals throughout the trip were very satisfying, and everything was well-organized and comfortable.
I brought my mom to celebrate her retirement, and she couldn’t have been happier. If you’re traveling with family and want to experience the best of African wildlife, this tour is 100% worth it. Highly recommended!

One of the best
I had an unforgettable experience in Kenya, all thanks to Milana Tours. Antonio helped me plan my itinerary and was super helpful. He ensured we were comfortable during the entire trip. My friend and I had an amazing time in Masai Mara and Naivasha, and we are grateful to Antonio, our driver and guide in Naivasha, Laban and our Masai Mara safari guide Kikitu - they were so friendly and welcoming. An unforgettable safari trip
Our guide, Evans is highly experienced and attentive, helping us to catch all five African Specials and the Five African Dominators in one go. We also witnessed the thrilling process of lions hunting water buffalo, where we secured the C position. Additionally, the driver's driving skills are exceptional, ensuring a smooth ride even on bumpy roads. Overall, it was both enjoyable and perfect.

Cynthia has been kind and patient to us from the start and was responsive towards any queries we had on the trip booked. Moses our guide was absolutely amazing. His knowledge on Nairobi and the route to Masai Mara kept us engaged on the rich landscape of Kenya. His passion for the wildlife homed in masai mara combined with his grit to ensure we saw the animals we came here to see truly made us have the BEST experience. Possibly the best tour guide we could have had.
