Trip of a Lifetime
Jambo! We used Beacon Safaris for our 10 day Kenyan safari in late December 2016, and it was the best vacation that we have ever taken. From our first online contact with Beacon Safaris, Robert was always there to quickly answer our questions and offer suggestions. He put together a custom safari that covered a varied mix of luxury tent camps and luxury lodges in several national parks and reserves. He also made recommendations about optional adventures not normally included in the standard package. These included a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, a walking safari on Crescent Island, a biking tour in Hells Gate, and a balloon ride in Masai Mara. The highlight of the trip was Eustus, our driver and guide. He began and ended every day with a handshake greeting and big smile. He was always customer focused and intent on making it a trip of a lifetime. He laughed at our jokes and comments even though he had probably heard similar lines dozens of time before and he made us feel special. He could spot animals more than several hundred yards away and even though he consistently put us in a position to get the best views and pictures – we always felt safe. Partly due to luck but mostly due to Eustus’ tracking expertise, we saw the Big Five several times on our tour – in fact, throughout our day in Masai Mara, we were able to get within a few yards of each one of the Big Five multiple times. What great pictures and memories! Eustus was an expert on the animals, the habitat, and the history of the region. He also informed us about the customs, politics, and economics related to Kenya. If you have a chance to choose your guide, make sure that Eustus is at the top of your list.

the procedure was fast and easy, they took care for all the logistics.
and the price was fair.
the safari itself was an unforgettable experience. we saw all kinds of wildlife and we were in a spacious jeep.

Our Tanzanian Honeymoon Was Perfect
We have organized our honeymoon with Benson Safari and they have been always responsive and considered in the reservation process. They went the extra mile to take care of us, helping us to craft the perfect itenerary for us adding and removing based on our request.
Our guide, Jeff, was amazing. He could answer all my question about geology, geography, migration, wildlife managment, animals and birds. He also answered all of my question about trees as well. Not only a perfectly rounded guide but knowledgeable on all grounds.
He spotted the big five and two cheethas. Caught a group of lions by looking at one beta male, and understanding the roaring heard the previous night was a warning from the alpha male. Then saw the group at over 500 metres distance.
We also asked him to take us out for a local dine and a lesson of learning and discovery and it was great.

Unique experience
We spent three nights in Mikumi National Park. The driver Adam was excellent. Thanks to him we were able to see 4 out of Big five, only rhino was missing, since those are found only in Ngorongoro. We saw dozen lions, about 20 elephants, almost 100 giraffes, over 100 buffalos, about 10 hippos and crocodiles, and one very rare leopard lying up in the tree. Thank you Malengo Tours.

It was a well organized adventure trip! Our whole family enjoyed the safari game very much.
We were impressed by the different staffs we had to handle with. They were all very kind, serving persons. We enjoyed also the big knowledge of our guide and his friendly caracter. It was nice to come home to Africa.

Amazing introduction to Uganda!
Chigo Tours and Martin Ngabirano were absolutely fantastic! I've lived and worked in Namibia and travelled in several African countries, and I can definitely say that Martin is unique among guides. The communication about my itinerary during the planning process was prompt and clear. He was able to accommodate all of my requests, and even a last minutes schedule change due to a missed flight!
Martin is a safe and knowledgable driver. The vehicle I was in has definitely been around Uganda several times, but Martin keeps it in perfect running order! It was comfortable, and had a great "pop top" for animal viewing.
The highlight is definitely getting access to all that Martin knows about Uganda and the amazing wildlife here. It is so exciting and awe-inspiring to see these animals in their natural habitats -- and that excitement is doubled when you get to share it with Martin! We saw all of the "usual" animals, elephant, hippo, water buck, Uganda kop...and also a leopard and many many exquisite birds!
Overall, the whole trip was a true delight. Thank you!!

Very accommodating, efficient and professional.
Safari With Us was very prompt in replying even over the holidays. They were very accommodating especially with our last minute requests and surpassed our expectations. From the time we landed in South Africa till we left everything ran smoothly with everyone being courteous and making our trip enjoyable. The choice of Tau Lodge was excellent especially the Ranger assigned to us (Ignatius - Iggy for short) made it a point to ensure that we saw as many animals as possible especially the Big Five. He was also very engaging. Overall we were very satisfied with our safari experience.

10 Day Kenya Safari
An outstanding 10 day Safari starting with Masai Mara all the way through the Tsavo East I cant imagine it being any better than it was, from the initial contact through to the last day. Our driver John became more of friend than a guide by the end, his knowledge was unrivalled and seemed to be highly regarded and have many friends in the parks/lodges and even roadsides along the way. His passion and commitment was fantastic, he referred to the national parks as his 'home and his office' and was at some points even more excited than we were when we found certain animals! I would really recommend using Beacon, this was our first safari and although i imagine it would of always been amazing whoever we chose i feel like Beacon made it the best it could possibly be. Also just to note we were slightly apprehensive about going in early May but we saw all and lots of the 'Big 5' (some with slightly more difficulty than others) and there was so many animals everywhere, also the weather was excellent everyday but maybe we were just lucky!

Never Ever like this company
My boyfriend and I are just back from our trip and without a doubt Proud of Tanzania Safaris service and knowledge of Tanzania made our trip the best we've ever had. When booking the trip we had a list criteria/places that we wanted to visit and Proud of Tanzania safaris staff really listened to our needs/expectations then translated that into a perfect itinerary. Things like travel items, lodging quality, timing of game drives were carefully thought through and our on the ground experience couldn't have been smoother. Our vehicle was a 4x4 LandCrusier with a pop top - very comfortable, reliable, and clean.
What we really liked is that we had one local guide the entire trip. And he was so much more than our guide, he was the driver, tour coordinator, and game expert. It was great to have a proud Ugandan show us his country. He could tell us far more than many of the park rangers about the wildlife. Without hesitation I can highly recommend you to
