Totally worth it
I participated to a trip with a group of friends in March2025. The trip included from Morogoro to Nyerere national park, game drive in the park, 2 overnight stay at Mloka lodge and then to Dar es Salaam.
The guide and driver were Frank and Alfonso. I can only recommend the experience. They are two great professionals, great knowledge of the park and the animals. They are also extremely kind and attentive and very supportive.
The food at the lodge was very good and abundant. A quick note: it's a long trip to the park, no matter where you start from, and a great part of the road is dirt, so pack water and patience and just enjoy the ride !
The only downside was a miscommunication from the agency, because it was not clear how and when to pay (upfront/cash...), but eventually we sorted out in person.

Fabulous
Excellent value for the money. I booked only 2 days before we left and the service was great. We had a very knowledgeable safari guide, had fun camping in tents set up for us, enjoyed ample tasty food, saw incredible wildlife, and had lots of laughs. I would highly recommend this tour group if you don’t need to be in a new fancy jeep and you want good value for your money.

We had such a great time thanks to Kihindo tours. We got a 3 day package deal which had so many varied activities including safari and a waterfall hike. Mikumi makes a perfect 1 day safari! The accommodation provided was great too. Special shout out to Isaya who was our driver and was so kind and accommodating to us, we loved spending time with him!

Professional and Passionate
We (5 friends and family) climbed Kilimanjaro and went on Serengeti safari with Eco-Africa. The service and experience exceeded expectations and has shifted my opinions of guides forever. Not all guides are created equal. Use a KPAP only guide to climb. KPAP ensures the porters are well paid and have enough food and accomodations on the mtn. Eco-Africa is head and shoulders above the other guides. We got 3 hot meals a day, AM coffee and hot water for washing and a hot towel when we come into camp. From the moment we landed at the airport to when they dropped us off at the airport at 0500 they were with us every step of the way. Top 5 musts: 1. Call Eco-Africa, 2. Donate all you climbing gear to the guides, 3. Tip big, 4. Learn some Swahili before you go, 5. Hakuna Matada.
