A Well-Run Safari Outfit That Surpassed Expectations
5/5

Traveling with my parents and a friend to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday, I wanted to make sure the Tanzania safari part of the trip was perfect. Africa Safari Classics Ltd ensured that every detail was fantastic, that our trip went smoothly, and that everyone had an epic trip of a lifetime. They surpassed my expectations and I highly recommend the company for anyone looking for an adventure on safari.
From my first outreach to the company, the sales director, Maurice, was very professional and quick with replies to tailor-make the trip to the parks in Tanzania we wanted to visit. When the airline lost my friend's on the way to Tanzania, we assumed we would never see it again. Imagine our surprise while on a game drive in the middle of the Serengeti, another vehicle popped up and handed over the bag! This is the kind of customer service that made Africa Safari Classics stand out!
Our driver guide Athman was exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. He went out of his way to make sure that we had an amazing experience and anticipated our needs before we even needed to ask for anything. He's also a really good and kind person, with a great sense of humor-- which is really important when you spend a week with someone. He knew the parks like the back of his hand and where to spot all the animals we were searching for. His knowledge of the animals and information about the parks was extensive, and he also told us a lot of interesting information about the people and towns that we drove through between the parks.
We saw the Big 5! We visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire parks-- all filled with so much wildlife. Highlights included a cheetah playing with her four baby cubs, hippos wrestling, and a herd of buffalo standing down a pride of lions. Tanzania has some really beautiful national parks, and, having visited the parks in Kenya before, I highly recommend visiting the parks of both countries.
The accommodations we stayed at in each of the parks exceeded expectations with beautiful views, incredible wildlife, and amazing customer service. We particularly enjoyed the un-fenced tented camp in the middle of the Serengeti.
10 out of 10, I would highly recommend Africa Safari Classics Ltd to organize your safari!

Fabulous Safari & Fantastic Guide
5/5

We booked with Benson to do a 4 day/5 night private safari for my husband and I in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The first thing I was impressed about was that Benson never took more than 24hrs to respond to my emails during the quote and booking process - most of the time he took even less time than this! Our guide Issa was incredible, so friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and where to find them. I am still so impressed about how he was able to spot the animals from miles away! The vehicle we had was very clean and comfortable with water, soft drinks and beers on tap. Issa even had folding chairs and a table for our packed lunches which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, extremely pleased with the service Benson (and Issa) provided and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Excellent value for money - 3 day Murchison Falls NP safari
5/5

My wife and I did this 3 day safari only a few days ago. Kombi Tours were very helpful, sending us many documents with all kinds of information about how the trip would be, what our itinerary would be and how to prepare etc.

Our drive, Tom, was thoroughly professional and took care of everything for us. He picked us up at a backpacker hotel in Kampala and even drove us back to our place elsewhere in Kampala when the safari was over.

While the safari sounds short, you will see a lot in those 3 days. The park is packed with herds of Uganda Kobs, Hartebeests, waterbucks, water buffalo, hippos, elephants, giraffes, baboons, warthogs... we saw two lions next to an eaten antelope carcass trying to digest, we saw tons of elephants, they even crossed the road and approached the car... the baboons and warthogs you can get super close to at the river crossings.

Of course all manner of birds... guinea fowl, vultures...hundreds of different species.

If you are lucky you can also see leopard and shoebill stork.

We took the rhino tour and that was very special. Is it worth 90 USD for two..? Hard to say, but it is an experience and the money goes towards the breeding of these animals which they hope to reintroduce to the NP in about 10 years, followed by introduction to other NP's in Uganda.

The lodgings (tent inside of a straw roofing) were very comfortable, the food was excellent as well.

Of course, the boat ride to the bottom of the falls, and the drive up to the top of the falls the day after, were spectacular.

Ok so while Murchison Falls isn't Serengeti / Masai Mara, which are the pinnacle NP's (my impression from reading), you also pay much, much less for for this one, and I definitely recommend it whole heartedly, because we had a great time. I think the price is very reasonable!

once in a lifetime experience
5/5

you might think Northern adventures safari is a safari company as many others, but they made me feel not like their customer but a guest or friend. From the beginning of our email/whatsapp communication,Michael was always very helpful and went an extra mile for us.He even booked the bus for us from Nairobi to Arusha which we really appreciated.Everything was well organised.Even though in Nairobi airport was no sign of bus or the name of bus company withim 5min I found some man who knew about us and was waiting for us.Then,in Arusha, another person was waiting for us and took us to the hotel. We started safari the next morning.First day,I couldn't understand that we are not in a big zoo but this is the animal's natural environment.I also liked that in 5days we have senn different landscape each day...the whole experience was just wonderful, amazing, unbelievable.

one-day to Mikumi excellent
5/5

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with driver Godlisen -- he is an excellent host and skilled driver. We felt well-taken care of at all times on a one-day drive from Dar to Mikumi National Park. We only had time for a one-day trip and definitely wish we could have done a longer safari with him. We got caught in Dar's famous traffic on the way back, and Godlisen's good humor and charm allowed us to feel comfortable during the long day. He was willing to answer our endless questions and to anticipate many of them. Godlisen is a godsend!

The owner Bi Mwajabu is a great person to work with as well - always positive and always communicating - which is exactly what one hopes for in life and in safari. We had the added pleasure of being accompanied by her son on our trip.

Highly recommended.

Experience of a lifetime
5/5

I cannot put into words that fully describe the unbelievably amazing experience I had in Botswana with Naga Safaris. Every single aspect of it was wonderful, from the very experienced and knowledgeable guide, to the kind and attentive camp assistants and the very talented cook. I would 100% recommend and also repeat the truly remarkable experience I had with Naga Safaris.
