Outstanding in every way - our trip was perfection thanks to the team at Kingfisher Journeys
Where to begin? I can’t praise Kingfisher Journeys enough - our holiday to Rwanda was incredible! Olivier was our first contact and he helped us to choose the right type of holiday, answering all queries very promptly and professionally. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and exceptionally helpful. We loved our route around the country and all activities that we did - from chimpanzee and gorilla watching to kayaking and canoeing. We loved the cultural activities that we did too and the insights into local life. Cyprien was our driver and guide and was outstanding. Punctual at all times, calm and an excellent and safe driver. He shared stories about Rwanda as we drove and really made our holiday special. We thought the trip was very good value for money - so many activities were included as well as meals etc. All the hotels that we stayed in were a very good standard and the service in each was such a high level. I used to work in the travel industry and can honestly say that Kingfisher Journeys is up there with the best. I really could not fault them in any way. Credit where credit is due.

The best safari experience I could’ve dreamed of perfectly planned, safe and full of amazing moments
We spent 12 incredible days in Uganda with my three friends, and our guide, driver, and companion throughout the journey was Isaac from Leone Tours. He is not only a true professional but also a wonderful person—warm, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the very first day, we knew we were in the best hands.
Isaac didn’t just drive us around; he carefully helped us plan the itinerary, handled all our accommodation bookings, and arranged every experience—from gorilla trekking to unforgettable safaris. His deep knowledge of Uganda, its culture, and wildlife made every moment even more special. He shared countless fascinating facts and always had an answer to almost every question we asked!
Beyond being an excellent guide, Isaac became a great friend. His kindness, patience, and enthusiasm made our trip truly unforgettable. We are beyond grateful for everything he did for us, and we sincerely hope our paths will cross again one day.

Kihindo Tours has professional, expert, and exceptional tour guides and coordinators.
I spoke with different tour companies in Tanzania, and I was lucky to find Kihindo Tours who provided the lowest offer (but tour and service were not compromised). They didn’t disappoint us in any aspect—from the detailed itinerary, responsive and flexible coordinator (thanks to Winnie for arranging our trip smoothly), knowledgeable and expert drivers (thanks to KP, Patrick, and Isaiah for guiding us and driving us safely to each destination), and a special highlight to Saloniki, our expert safari guide. He was very knowledgeable about the park and wildlife. He was also so charming that we enjoyed the whole day full of smiles and insights.
Kudos as well to the other tour guides who helped us change a tire during our safari. Everyone stopped and offered help. Tanzanians truly have a helping hand.
I will definitely go back to Tanzania—and will choose Kihindo Tours again as our guide!

Great family owned safari operator
We had a great time on our 6 day safari with meektrails and our guide Peter. They really took care of everything! We can definitely recommend the company for the safari!
Minor point: Recheck the car you booked (we got a 4x4 van and not a 4x4 jeep with big windows and were just not aware of it). Was still fine overall!

Professional, Flexible, and Attentive Operator
We did a 4-day safari covering Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro — intense but unforgettable! Communication was smooth, our guide Jeff was very professional, and everything ran reliably. Great value for money. Just a tip: bring a mask for the dust and warm clothes for the chilly Serengeti nights!

Great service!
Went on safari with my husband, this was our first time and we booked it based on the reviews on websites like this one and it turned out to be such an amazing experience. Our guide Wilson is a Pro and his great sense of humour and caring attitude made every day exceptional. We have visited 3 parks, stayed at 3 different lodges and saw so many animals. Can’t recommend enough - it’s a dream that came true!

Trustworthy and professional
We booked a 6 day safari with Jocky Tours and we could not have been more content with their services. The communication was throughout the journey was on point.
Our flight was delayed and we missed the pick-up time, yet they still managed to make us join the group.
Our special thanks goes to our guide Moses who gave 100% of himself to make sure we could experience the wildlife to the fullest. Thanks to him we could see the Big Five! He also gave very interesting facts about all the species we saw. Such a fantastic and professional guide! Also, the best driver!
The accommodation was great and the food was delicious, adapted to tourists but local tastes.
We had an unforgettable experience that we could recommend to everybody!
