A lovely time in such a beautiful country
Everything about our experience with Meektrails was fantastic. We communicated with Paul prior to and during booking. When we got to Kenya, we met James who would be our guide at our hotel early the first morning. We saw all of the big 5 across Amboseli, Nakuru and Masai Mara. All lodging exceeded expectations. I recommend you splurge for the Land Cruiser as it was a beast in some muddy conditions that we saw a van get stuck in. Overall it was an amazing week with a great guide in some beautiful lodges in otherworldly places with tons of wildlife. What more could you ask for?

Victoria is clearly one of the best tour organizers in the world. Her communication is outstanding, always responded promptly to any questions and emails and she did changes and customize the tours in any way I wished. Her professionalism and flexibility make her truly exceptional!
Our driver and tour guide Alex was also great. Intelligent, funny, friendly and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and got everything we needed.
Uganda is one of the few places in the world where you can spend time with mountain gorillas, do chimpanzees tracking and also embark on a safari to encounter elephants, lions, and leopards. And all of this in just a few days.

Private Tours, my second with Banok Safaris. We had 12 days of nonstop tours in 4 different Camps! Each day was full of lucky sightings of the Big 5! Exciting and couldn’t get enough of seeing all the best. Ofcourse, it all depends on the knowledge and expertise of the Guide and the operator! I would recommend highly! Kinjo Sister’s.

Very efficient, accommodating, and quick to reply to any inquiries.
We did the 6-day, Big-5 Safari and it was awesome! Kelvin was great to deal with. He was quick to reply to any questions we had and all the accommodations he arranged were great. Drivers were all very professional. Herman gave us a lovely tour of Arusha. Our Safari driver, Kunda, was so much fun. He was very accommodating and he got us all of the “Big 5” and so much more…even cheetahs up close!! Getting so near to many of the animals was beyond exciting and at no time did we feel unsafe. Zimbabwe and Botswana Game Tracker was excellent
We recently completed the Zimbabwe and Botswana Game Tracker Safari with Sunway Safaris and it was excellent.
The guides, Shandele and Dickson were hard working, efficient, had excellent English and were great cooks. Most importantly, they each had a wonderful sense of humour and were kind and generous. We called them “The Two Smiling Faces of Africa”.
The food was healthy, delicious and plentiful both on the road and at our accommodation.
The accommodation was much better than we expected and each place had something special going for it.
The Red Elephant was as comfortable as it could be considering some of the rough roads that we travelled on. There was plenty of leg room and large windows.
The tour was well organised in terms of the variety of places we travelled to. We saw many, many animals as well as a variety of beautiful landscapes including many natural features.
The tour was very well priced considering the inclusions such as entrance fees. We booked directly with Sunway. The communication was prompt and Grace was very friendly and able to answer all our questions.
We wouldn’t hesitate to travel with Sunway again.

We just completed a 6-night, 7-day private safari with Colours Africa Tours, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, working with Nasra, our sales contact, was a pleasure. Her responsiveness and attention to detail through WhatsApp made planning effortless, and she readily adjusted our itinerary to perfectly match our preferences.
We're happy with the decision to choose a local Arusha-based tour operator, as it offered exceptional value for the experience. The accommodations at tented camps within the national parks were fantastic, immersing us in the natural beauty of the parks.
Our guide, Norton, was a highlight for us. He was the perfect addition to our small group. His expertise and intuition led us to some incredibly rare and special wildlife sightings. What impressed us most was his ability to anticipate animal movements and position the vehicle for optimal viewing angles, even during popular sightings where multiple vehicles were present.
Norton's vehicle was impeccably maintained, clean, and comfortable, making our long days of game drives a pleasure. His knowledge of the area's wildlife and ecosystems was impressive, but it was his good-natured personality and sense of humor that really made the experience special. We shared many laughs throughout the journey, and he added a lot to our overall experience.
We visited the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park (where we did a walking safari and a night drive, we highly recommend both). Each location offered unique and incredible experiences. Norton's expertise enhanced every moment of wildlife viewing, ensuring we got the most out of each location.
Thanks to Colours Africa and Norton, we saw some truly unforgettable and rare wildlife moments. This trip exceeded our expectations in every way. We wholeheartedly recommend Colours Africa Tours and Safari (and Norton!) to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. It was truly a trip of a lifetime!

Professional, attentive, and exceptional service for unforgettable gorilla treks
We had an unforgettable experience with Great Adventures Uganda Safaris! Our trip to see the gorillas in Bwindi was magical, and the entire journey was seamless from start to finish.
After a week on safari in Tanzania, we flew to Kigali, where we were picked up and transferred to Bwindi. At the border, we swapped drivers and were introduced to David, our Uganda driver and guide. David was a skilled and confident driver, navigating the roads with ease and enthusiasm. He was passionate about sharing Uganda with us.
We worked with Samuel to organize our trip, and he was awesome. From the beginning, Samuel was incredibly helpful, communicative, and flexible, ensuring we crafted the perfect itinerary for our needs. His responsiveness, even at odd hours, was impressive and reassuring. When my fiancée hurt her ankle and couldn’t participate in our planned golden monkey trek the day after the gorilla habituation experience, Samuel and the team immediately jumped into action. They arranged a romantic sunset boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi and adjusted our accommodations from Lake Mutanda to the stunning Birdnest Lodge at Lake Bunyonyi, all at no additional charge. This level of care and thoughtfulness truly set them apart.
The gorilla habituation experience itself was everything we hoped for and more. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend extended time with these incredible animals, and it was worth every moment. Our stay at Gorilla Leisure Lodge was another highlight as this lodge had, by far, the best food of anywhere we stayed in Africa, with an incredibly kind and attentive staff.
We cannot recommend Great Adventures Uganda Safaris enough. I would work with Samuel again in a heart beat. The overall attention to detail made our trip stress-free and filled with unforgettable memories. If you’re considering a trip to Uganda, you won't go wrong with this team.
