Great tour, personal touch
The tour was very well organised. Both drivers were very nice they started out with an explanation and a small gift. We then drove to the locations in a very comfortable car and we were never left alone. The locations were great and we had an amazing experience.
The words hakuna matata were in place.

The best!
My experience with Welweit adventures was nothing short of incredible! From the very moment I contacted them, they made us feel so welcome to their beautiful country, Tanzania. We had booked a one day hike to Kilimanjaro; a trip to Chemka hot springs and a Maasai village; and a day trip to Arusha National Park. The three guides who accompanied us during those activities, namely Mathew, Joseph, and Jift respectively, were very knowledgeable in their field of work apart from being friendly and approachable. All three of them taught us so much about the local culture, traditions and the way of life. Baraka, who heads the team at Welweit also kept in contact with us way before our trip and well as throughout our trip, to ensure everything ran smoothly. One important aspect I must mention here is how Baraka went out of his way to get us information related to our visa, which we believe was very thoughtful of him, despite his busy work schedule. He kept us informed of the situation and that in turn helped us be at ease. By the end of the trip, we felt like we were made a part of the Welweit family! Asante Sana (Thank you) Baraka and team Welweit for the memories for a lifetime, and more!

Another Unforgettable Safari with Chalo Africa – Our Trusted Partners for Africa Travel
This was our second trip with the Chalo Africa team, and this time it was a magical safari through Kenya. For us, any trip to Africa is planned with Chalo Africa by default—they know the continent inside out and always go the extra mile to create something special.
This was actually the first time I’ve ever booked a trip six months in advance. That kind of early commitment only came from the trust we have in the team—we knew that if anything went wrong, they’d be right there to support us. And true to form, they delivered flawlessly.
From the very first calls with Smita and Sangeeta, they took the time to understand our preferences and needs. We were traveling with a 6-year-old and a 75-year-old, so we had unique requirements. The team made thoughtful suggestions and crafted a perfectly balanced itinerary that catered to everyone.
The entire trip—from the camps to the logistics—was smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. The stays were top-notch, and every little detail was taken care of.
The transparency in pricing and the value delivered made the entire experience even more rewarding. In fact, after each trip, we come away feeling we’ve experienced more than we expected.
The Kenya safari itself was incredible, but what made it truly memorable was the way Chalo Africa brought it all together. We’ll continue to recommend them to friends and family, and we’re already looking forward to our next adventure with them.

An exceptionally professional, attentive operator that go beyond expectations
I started looking for a travel agency in Kenya to plan our honeymoon, and we found the best option. From the moment I reached out, Amos and Betty were incredibly attentive and professional. They sent us options based on our budget and always helped with recommendations, answered questions about visas, and more — all very promptly. We always had someone picking us up at the airports, and we had our own guide, John, who was the most attentive, helpful, and friendly person. Our safari wouldn’t have been the same without him. He shared facts about the different animals, birds, etc., talked to us about the parks and the local people, and answered all of our questions.
The lodges they booked for us were very comfortable, always clean, and the food was quite good. As a suggestion, ask about the travel times between parks and the option to fly between them so you can compare and choose what best suits your experience.
They also took us to some amazing restaurants in Nairobi, and we had the opportunity to get to know each other better — that was truly valuable and something we deeply appreciated.
I highly recommend hiring them to have one of the best experiences of your life. I also believe they are very good at adapting to your budget, which is extremely helpful when you’re a foreigner and not very familiar with the local country.

Excellent service, communication, planning, and support from Emile, who showed us Rwanda's beauty.
From the moment I spoke with Emile as I was planning our trip, I knew that he would be an excellent tour operator. He has years of practical experience in coveted roles with Rwanda's national parks; he speaks English, Kinyarwanda, French, and a bit of Spanish (very talented with languages); he has many contacts in the travel and hospitality industries; Emile's explanations of everything we asked about was very insightful and educational; the communication with him was always prompt and informative; excellent value for money; high reliability; the tour itself was fantastic!

Thoughtfully planned and executed, with impeccable attention to detail, preparation, and support.
I rode solo with Outland Travel in October 2024 and would highly recommend this outfitter. I spent about 8 days with them riding along the Zambezi river, and was thoroughly satisfied with my time with them. It was an incredible trip, with overwhelming beauty, fantastic relationships, and unique experiences that I deeply cherish. There is so much I can say about this trip.
First, Jared and his team at Outland Travel embody care in everything they do. They truly want you to have a good experience and understand that you're making an investment when you adventure with them. They get to know you and your riding style, take into account the things that you're interested in, and make you, your riding, and your adventure the center of the whole experience. While you're focused on having the time of your life on two wheels, they make the work of managing the endless details of route planning, lodging, timing, food, water, gear, bike maintenance, and safety look easy. And we riders know that is far from the truth.
They also seem to have strong relationships in the countries and local communities where they ride. I could share countless examples where we were welcomed and greeted with respect- whether it was by small business owners, community leaders, or just friendly passers-by in the villages and roads we traveled. If you ride with Outland Travel, don't be surprised if you make friends with someone local who ends up showing you a beautiful place that might be off the beaten path, invites you to a village celebration, or insists on sharing a cold beer or soft drink to share some stories.
As someone who was looking for something more active and adventurous, the riding was amazing. Our big days (around 90k of dirt and gravel) were indeed strenuous, but very fun. The breaks were plentiful- both planned and unplanned. And on the longer stretches, Outland was there to help me take in the incredible beauty of our surroundings, inform me about local ecology, and check in to see how I was doing. If there was ever a technical glitch (for example, I had a cleat that malfunctioned) I never worried about our trip getting derailed. And our shorter days (around 50k) allowed for more time to enjoy the magic of the Zambezi river- including the amazing wildlife in and around Lower Zambezi National Park (including elephants, eland, water buffalo, lions, zebras, impalas, water bucks, kudu, and so many hippos!).
That said, you don't have to be an aggressive rider to enjoy what Outland Travel has to offer. Let them know about your interests and style, and I suspect they'll do an amazing job of taking really good care of you and offering you an experience of a lifetime. That was the case for me, and I'm already looking forward to planning my next adventure with them!

It’s unique experience and unforgettable
The overall price of this travel agency is not expensive, and the service attitude is very good. Abdilah was responsible for picking us up from the airport to the hotel, and was waiting outside the airport before the flight arrived. David was responsible for the 4-day safari itinerary. David was very professional. He had to drive more than 8 hours a day and was also responsible for finding animals. He would give detailed introductions after finding them. He also helped us find local "medicine" when we had diarrhea during the safari. Accommodation is an experience away from the city. Due to the poor signal of the accommodation, we adjusted our work and rest schedule and got closer to nature. To be honest, it is very different from what I imagined Africa to be. There are many beautiful places in Tanzania, and the scenery is like Australia and New Zealand. Some places in the city are poorer, and women will carry more than 20kg of goods on their heads, which is amazing. The African experience is very unique.
