Our guide Chui was EXCELLENT -- knowledgeable, responsive and a true joy to be around.
For this once in a lifetime experience, you want everything to go as smoothly as possible which it did for our family of four, much to the credit of our guide Chui. Chui was not only knowledgeable and adept at finding the animals (the Big 5 and MORE) but was also responsive and was quite simply fun to be around -- he has a great personality and we all enjoyed sharing our experience with him. Savannah Explorers is the way to go -- booking was easy with Sultan in the office, and all of our connections and drivers were timely, kind and appropriate. What an experience!

Trip of a Lifetime
Pooja travel and their staff gave us the best experience ever. I flew in from Mombasa, Kenya to meet my brother and nephew, who had flown in from Toronto, in Arusha. Then to Serengetti by air, then to Ngorongoro by road, Tarengiri by road, then to Zanzibar by air.
Our beautiful hotel stays. Woow is all I can say for all the Serena hotels we stayed at in Serengetti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar. In Terengiri - The elephant Lodge. In Zanzibar the RIU Palace. Excellent service everywhere. Staff was very courteous, helpful in all places. Loved all the hotels indeed. ❤️❤️❤️
Hitesh did a fantastic job of arranging all the flights for me from Kenya and also internally within Tanzania. He helped make our stays very memorable. He went beyond my expectations to help sort out everything, even when there was a small problem. Him and his drivers - Hajji and Ali went all out to make sure everything went well.

We were guided by Ibra on our 11 day safari in October 2023 which include chimp habituation tracking in Kibale and lots of time spent in the “big game” destinations of Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Parks.
Ibra was a pleasure to travel with throughout. I have worked in both the Safari and conservation sectors in Uganda previously, for many years, but he taught me things about the country and its wildlife and people that I didn’t know. He is great company, a considerate and careful driver, courteous and punctual and has a brilliant eye for spotting wildlife - small and large! He comes highly recommended.

My husband and I just returned from an incredible three-day adventure in Ruaha National Park. We collaborated with Paul to determine the best accommodation options for our stay. Ultimately, we decided to book two nights and three days in Ruaha National Park, staying overnight at the Ruaha Hilltop Lodge, which is conveniently located just outside the park.
Accommodation Choices
We thoroughly enjoyed all arrangements, each offering a unique experience. Paul dedicated a significant amount of time and exchanged several emails with me to help finalize our decision. I found that Kitonga Company offered rates that were more reasonable compared to other companies, making it a great choice for our trip.
Wildlife Encounters
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the wildlife. The Ruaha River was breathtaking, although it had less water than usual, which made it less lively than it could have been. However, this did not hinder our experience; we were fortunate enough to see two leopards—one of which was right next to our safari vehicle—and witness a pride of lionesses hunting a massive herd of buffalo.
Overall, our trip to Ruaha National Park was unforgettable, filled with stunning landscapes and remarkable wildlife encounters that we will cherish forever
