the most amazing experience with a fabulous tour company
we had the most mazing 8 day trip! we started in Rwanda and then went to Uganda for Gorilla trekking and also a safari and chimpanzee trekking. Eco Adventures gave us the most amazing itinerary and all of the hotels were beautiful with great food! Patrick and Robert were our tour guides and were so knowledgeable and friendly. i highly this company and plan to come back again to see other parts of Africa! ❤️

6 unforgettable days
When searching for a tour in Botswana, our requirements were excellent reviews, an authentic experience and a local operator. We were very lucky to find Tony Mobile Safari and, in retrospective, are extremely satisfied and happy that we picked them. First of all, the price was great. It was that good that, if it were not for the reviews, i would be afraid it is a scam. The payment is also kinda tricky and up-front, but it all went smoothly. The communication with Tony was great, he was very happy to answer all my questions and he made things feel uncomplicated. He was even happy to organize for us tours with different companies (e.g. heli or mokoro).
The team we had was amazing. Disho was responsible for setting up the tents and the camp, and he did an amazing job. Our expectations were exceeded, and the whole camping experience was amazing. We have never felt so close to nature before. It might take some getting used to (e.g. hearing hyena sounds seemingly close to the tents while having dinner or elephants probably next to the tents while sleeping) and it might not be for everyone (hole-in-the-ground-style toilets, hot bucket showers or lack of sinks with mirrors for your beauty checks), but everything exceeded our expectations and we could not have enough of this. Thabo was our cook, and none of us will forget his food and his positivity. He had almost every day something different, always super tasty and in huge quantities. Food was definitely another aspect where our expectations were exceeded by far. We often joked about how he made us all fatter these 6 days. Last but not least, our guide was the amazing Mabuta (Jack). His humor, his knowledge, his driving skills and his tracking abilities are unmatched. He was very happy to accommodate our requests, he respected nature in every way he could, he was appreciative of how we let him do what he does best and trusted him and we did not stop having fun, but without this ever becoming too much or exhausting. We had a really amazing time with all the guys and feel lucky to have experienced this safari with them.
Now about the tour itself, what can i write. We saw the beautiful Okavango delta (did the 45 min heli tour and the mokoro boat ride), we saw leopards (plural) on trees, lions chilling, lions cuddling, lions eating a giraffe, so many elephants in all possible distances and even saw wild dogs hunting twice, which was a real natgeo experience, simply unbelievable. The parks we visited were Moremi, Savuti and Chobe riverside. The safari ended with a 3 hour boat ride in Chobe river, which was also full of crocodile, hippo and elephant sightings. Having done multiple other safari tours, i would definitely put this at the top together with Serengeti. The density of animals might be smaller, but there is a different uniqueness, a feeling of more raw contact to nature (because of the number of tourists but also the camping style) and a great team who can guarantee nothing but the best.
Mabuta, Thabo, Disho and Tony, we thank you for everything, you gave us a lifetime experience that we will never forget. This group of people is one of the most no-brainer recommendations i can give from my travels. We wish you all the best,

Discover Africa gave us an Incomparable experience.
As soon as we chose Discover Africa to send us to Africa, we were constantly helped in planning the trip, and were also constantly guided during the trip. I felt as confident as possible that my wife and I were going to have a great trip. I appreciated the information we got about our lodging, and activities at the 4 camps we stayed. I also appreciated the quick responses by Susan Veldman to my every question leading up to the trip. And she often checked in with us while we were in Africa. Despite our moving from camp to camp (my friend planned our itinerary) four times, everything went off without a hitch. We we were welcomed enthusiastically by the staff at each camp, including being serenaded when we arrived and at every dinner. The camps were well designed and well designed. They were way beyond anything we could imagine. The food was excellent and healthy choices were always offered. Our lodging was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed night sounds of our surroundings, including the grunting Hippos in the river nearby. The guides assigned to us were skillful and very personable. They made sure we had endless opportunities safely to get up close to wildlife, for photos that will last a lifetime. This was a remarkable trip which we will never forget.

Amazing experience!
It was an extraordinary experience. We were lucky to see all the animals we wanted to, and some so close. It was incredible!
Special thanks to our guide, Greyson. He was always attentive to our needs. He knows the savannah like the back of his hand. Plus, he's knowledgeable about everything related to the savannah, the animals, and the history of the region. A big thank you! Asante sana!
The balloon flight is an absolute must do in Serengeti, we made amazing pictures!
The luxury accomodations were amazing too. To wake up in front of the Ngorongoro crater was awesome.

Petros is knowledgeable, entertaining, and personable.
First, I would like to start with the ride to the game reserve, it was very nice and smooth sailing. Once there we were introduced to Petros who embraced the group from the onset. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. The game drive was exciting and lots of information was shared. Several animals crossed our path, rhino, zebra, and a giraffe. We were able to see and take exceptional photos. Lunch was included in which I indulged in the fish and chips cooked to perfection. What was nice was on the way to the game drive we were able to order our food, so there was no long wait in receiving our food and getting back to our quest of finding animals. Overall, I had a terrific time and thank you to Petros.
