Service and behaviour of Bruno Safari was disgusting and not professional.
We would like to inform you about some very irritating experiences we made while on safari with Bruno Safaris (http://www.brunosafaris.com/) in July 2014:
Our journey (July 14-20, 2014) including the chosen lodges in all the parks was planned and confirmed by Lawrence Kakai (representative of Bruno Safaris) in March 2014 (see details of this communication below). We paid the deposit as agreed and the rest in cash on arrival in Nairobi (USD 4600).
In the meantime however, our driver Joseph Nyaa had rebooked all the chosen and confirmed accommodation, replacing them with lodges that were of less, partly very poor, quality and presumably a lot cheaper. Of course, we were irritated and complained about the changes, but were given dubious reasons. We later learned, that the manager of all the new lodges was a friend of the driver.
In addition, one day of the Safari (we were meant to be driven to Lake Nakuru) was completely cancelled for reasons we did not understand either, so Bruno Safaris also saved the entrance fees for that park. All this was very disappointing and the numerous discussions with our very headstrong, sometimes even aggressive, driver lead to a lot of tedious situations.
After our return to Germany we contacted Bruno Safaris and at first Lawrence Kakai was very understanding, agreeing to a refund of part of the USD 4600 to our account. So far, nearly 2 months later, this money has not reached us and our numerous messages and questions to Bruno Safaris have remained without reply.
With a lot of tourists refraining from traveling to Kenya already - due to the political situation - unprofessional attitude like this, if not deceit, is very bad publicity for Kenya!

Experience of a lifetime!
We recently returned from a six day safari with Northern Circuit Adventure and I could not have asked for a better experience! The owner, Michael, was very responsive to any questions I had via email, I always received a reply within 24 hours. We had a wonderful guide, Ellios, who was very knowledgeable and could spot the most hidden of creatures miles away! Ellios noticed we were interested in birds and so would stop to show us all different species and explain their habits to us. Our cook Sweetmatt made us delicious food and was fun to have along on the trip. Our safari was an adventure of a lifetime and I could not have imagined a better experience! I would highly recommend this company to others - my sister is hoping to have an opportunity to visit Tanzania in February and I have already given her Michael's contact information! Thank-you Michael, Ellios, and Sweetmatt for the most amazing week!

A 6 days safari with Doyen Safaris
Me and my husband went on a 7 days safari with doyen safaris, Mara/Nakuru/Amboseli,our experience was hillarious and unforgettable.we recommend Kennedy and his able team to plan it for you when you go for safari.

Fantastic!
I did many safari, in South Africa, Namibia and Kenya, but I never saw so many animals like in Tanzania.
We also had a good time with hadzabe tribe.

Asilia is the best group I have ever booked with, and I have booked with many!
I have lived in Tanzania for about 7 years and have booked several safaris with many different groups. I was pleased with Asilia from the first email to Judith to the inquiries after our safaris. I have been to almost every Park and game reserve in Tanzania and was quite surprised at how well I enjoyed our safaris with Asilia. The accommodations and food are far better than most and the staff are exceptional! The camps I have stayed at are in the best locations in any of the parks I have visited. I really can't say enough about how they run their safari company from start to finish. I will never use another safari company as long as they maintain the standards. Our next trip will be to Robondo Island, and it will definitely be booked through Judith! Thanks to Asilia for making a safari what it should be.

Bwindi Impenetrable National park It’s a Great Park
Our journey from Bwindi Impenetrable National park to Queen Elizabeth National park was enjoyable. I did some bird watching although it was not included in the activities. What I mean is as were traveling to Bwindi, I saw different species of birds and all I did was to gaze at them. At Bwindi Impenetrable National park, I enjoyed the trekking. I came already prepared for it. As we were trekking we received news that the group which were tracking was somewhere so it didn’t take us long before we had an actual view of these great animals. Generous and flexible to meet my safari parameters.
Communications= a small glitch at the beginning relating to the meals of the driver while on safari. On first day at lunch, the driver seemed confused who should pay for his lunch. We had to call Jinja office to clarify.
Expectations= the vehicle was in good condition, it was comfortable. The hotels were nice and friendly. The service was excellent.

Great Safari company - Fourth time I have booked with Bestday Safaris
I have booked with Peter and Bestday Safaris for 4 years (2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015) and I have never been more pleased with a safari company.
The price that I paid for my 8 day safari in the Serengeti was very good. Communications was excellent during the planning of the safari. The whole vacation went perfectly and I truly believe this is just a great overall company to work with. Makasa arranged my transfers and a Safari. Always right on time, friendly guide and driver. Great lunch. Seen a lot of wild animals. Superb!
