An amazing experience. We used Safari Legacy tours with Norman as our guide. He adapted our itinerary once he saw that we had 3 serious photographers and we were not interested in relaxing by the pools and eating. We were there for game drives!
Most mornings we left our tented accommodations before sunrise taking box breakfasts and boxed lunches. We only returned after the Parks closed and we had to leave. We saw all of the "Big Five", Lion, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant. We also saw cheetahs. Fantastic!! One disappointing aspect is that visitors are required to leave most of the parks by 6 pm (4 pm Ngorongoro). This is to respect the wildlife and not have visitors interfering with predators hunting. The downside for photographers is that the best light is from 6:30 am to about 9 am and from 4:30 to 7 pm.
In total I shot over 4,000 images using 2 cameras which is >120 GB. Luckily I brought both a laptop and an external HD.

Tanzania is the place to go for a safari. You will see an abundance of wildlife and when you are traveling to each destination the culture and the scenery is amazing.

Bush vibe is possible on in selected as exlusive destinations; the most popular parks are so easily accessible and well maintained that mass tourism and self drive are quite common. To live the bush experience you have to pay

Tanzanias parks are the African safari par excellence. The cities leave something to be desired, but if you want the true game drive experience, Serengeti and Ngorongoro are as good as it gets. I enjoyed Tarangire immensely too.

Review about Kenya by Kevin
Kenya is the original safari destination. Although in some ways it is more rugged than some of its counterparts in southern africa, it provides a unique cultural experience and vibe from the mixture of central african & bantu culture, with its swahili influence from the coastal regions. Furthermore, from decades of experience in the tourism industry & a popular safari destination from since British occupation, Kenya has developed an enormous range of options for Safari from basic to premium luxury. Knowledgeable guides are excited to showcase the natural beauty of the country as long as you get a reputable one. Don't skimp on the guide, they are one of the most important aspects of your safari experience. Karibu Kenya!

Review about Namibia by Val Edlin
We have visited many African parks and can honestly say that we have never seen such a variety of birds and animals as we saw in the various sites we visited. All camps and guides were superb as was the air service between camps

a perfect dive into the safari world
along with a good and friendly team of 3 (guide, cook and help) traveled 10 days through the parks, slipping under a tent in the parks, surrounded by the animals. Were lucky to see most of them in their natural in habitat. Enjoyed every minute of it.
