I made a friend on this tour .. yousef was there to pick me on time .. he was pleasant and kind .. I wasn’t feeling well on the day so he stopped to get me some medication .. the coffee tour and the waterfall was so much fun.. I felt safe giving the fact that I was alone .. My safari experience was absolutely amazing. My guide Mtinangi was very competent, answered all questions and he was doing his best to show us as much as possible. Incredible knowledge and very hands-on approach. Whole team took really good care of our group. I can only recommend in 100% to everyone.

The tour was superbly organized, communication via WhatsApp was seamless, payment was hassle-free, and the service from everyone (driver, guide, manager, lodge staff) was absolutely fantastic. Great safari Organization - stress free
Great safari tour with professional driver. Everything was organised upfront and the trip was stress free.
The driver knew very well all the parks and how to best spot the wildlife, while providing interesting insights yet respecting the animals.

A Smooth Ride
From the first contact with Brendon's detailed tour proposal to the last day of our tour, Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris was very straightforward, clear and concise. We had done a Safari tour in Tanzania before where we were with one vehicle and one guide for six days. It was not how the Elephant functions. But once we got used to how they work, it was breezy. There was always someone taking care of you, even though it was not one assigned guide. Looking back, all it took for us was to send them the initial email to let them know what we were looking for. Their itinerary was perfect for us. Five days included a whole day safari, a sunset safari, a sunrise safari, zipline activities and the Panorama Tour. We were able to experience both Kruger National Park and a private game reserve. The luxury lodge Zarafa they booked for us was absolutely amazing. It was a perfect place for us to unwind after all those activities. Thank you Elephant Herd Tour & Safaris for an unforgettable experience of your beautiful land, animals and people!

The guide mtinangi was always in a very good mood and knew a lot of facts about the animals and the landscape. He could answer every question he was asked, so we learned a lot. :)

Harrison was friendly and very knowledgeable about Zimbabwe culture, politics, and way of life. He took us to a homestead within a local village to Victoria Falls and facilitated our conversation with occupants. It was a lot of fun learning about their way of life and he was able to provide information after the tour on broader issues within Zimbabwe, awesome experience overall!
