Great experience with excellent tour operator - We did the 5 days Marangu route with 21 Africa Safari and had the best time! My guide Aloyce was super supportive, the chefs accommodated for my vegan diet, the porters and the whole team was genuinely the best, super friendly. All team did a fantastic job to give us the best experience. Everyday we had our food ready on time the food was so great and we enjoy the meals.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unfulfilled Promises and Unresponsive Service
In November 2024, my friend and I booked a safari experience in South Africa through this agency, including a specific hotel which we carefully selected and paid for. However, once the safari began, we were informed that our chosen hotel was overbooked and we were being relocated to a significantly cheaper and low-budget alternative, far below the standard of what we had paid for.
After discussing the situation with the agency, we mutually agreed to end the safari experience early and receive a refund for the remaining costs. Despite this agreement and repeated follow-ups (at least 20 times), we have yet to receive the refund – it is now April 2025.
We were repeatedly told the refund would be issued "within the next days," but this never happened. The lack of transparency, accountability, and responsiveness is unacceptable, especially given the initial mishandling of our accommodation.
I strongly advise other travelers not to book with this agency. Our experience was not only disappointing but also deeply frustrating, and the ongoing lack of resolution shows a serious lack of professionalism and reliability. Be careful!

Great journey
We had an amazing experience with Leken adventure.
The guide and staffs were so nice and the food incredible! They lead us to the top pole pole (slowly slowly) but surely and safely. Moreover tasting the Tanzanian cuisine on the top of the mountain make your experience even more enjoyable.

Excellent service, exceeded expectations, definitely using them again
The private tour was perfect. From the pickup, to the game drive where everyone was friendly and offered a lot of information, to the overnight stay, the boat safari...it was a very enjoyable two days. This was a budget tour but it exceeded expectations. This will definitely have to be redone in the future.

Our family Safari with Heart of Africa Safari Tours was truly the adventure of a lifetime! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized and full of authentic, once-in-a-lifetime experiences. We were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five—a dream come true for all of us, especially the kids!
One of the most meaningful parts of our journey was visiting the Heart of Africa Foundation Center. Meeting the girls and learning about the amazing work being done there was deeply inspiring. It added such a powerful and personal touch to our trip, and reminded us of the beauty of giving back.
We also had the chance to visit a Maasai Boma, and it was one of the most fascinating cultural experiences we’ve ever had. The warmth of the community, the traditions, the dancing, and the storytelling made us feel truly connected to the heart of Tanzania.
