One big wonderful 3 day safari adventure
After a special experience of flying in a small plane from Arusha to Seronera, we were warmly welcomed by our fantastic driver (Gama) and friendly guide (Gift) from "Cari local African safaris". The first day we visited the serengeti national park where we spotted 4 animals of the Big Five within a few hours. We also spotted elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes, hyenas and much more. All those animals in such a beautiful environment. what a beauty, what an unspoiled pure nature. Really incredible.
After a great welcome from the staff, a bush dinner, and a good night's sleep in Safari port Serengeti Camp we left for
Ngorongoro Crater. A place where we experienced otherworldly beauty with extraordinary
wildlife and where we also spotted the last animal of the big five (the rhinoceros). At the end of the afternoon there was time for a dip in the pool of Siafu Serenity Lodge where we spent the night in a fantastic room after a delicious dinner.
The last day we left early in the morning for Tarangire National Park. The park with the baobab trees and known as the elephants paradise.
And a paradise it is indeed. Not only for the elephants. There is also a huge population of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos,
buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys, and zebras. What a fantastic end to our safari trip!

The wow factor
Our first time on safari but not our first time in Tanzania … we keep coming back because the people are so fantastic but this time with a four day safari it was epic … we started in Dodoma did Tarangiri, then Ngorongoro finishing with the Serengeti before being dropped off in Musoma … our guide Moses was amazing, the eyes of a hawk so we saw just about everything we could have hoped for from lions and their cubs, to cheetahs a few metres away to hyaena on a lion kill and the most fantastic birds and views you could wish for … thanks safari bookings for providing the links to find our safari company

Our family holiday with Kalahari Marsh surpassed our expectations. We had an amazing time.
Lucky's organisation and itinerary were fantastic. He worked very hard to personalise the trip for us and always kept me up to date with the planning. We choose a mid-range camping/lodge option which was excellent value.
We camped in the Okavango Delta and Central Kalahari Desert and stayed at Maun Lodge, Planet Baobab and Elephant Sands. It was an incredible experience. LT our guide and driver amazed us with his knowledge and tracking skills, we saw over 80 different species of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, hippos, lions, leopard, cheetah, a variety of birds and buck - even baby mongoose in the Makgadikgadi pans and a leopard tortoise.
The staff at Kalahari Marsh really looked after us well, from setting up camp to delicious food whilst camping.
There were so many highlights it's hard to pick a favourite.
Thank you all so much for an incredible experince.

An amazing Kilimanjaro trek with Jaribu Africa
Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Jaribu Africa was amazing! Joseph and his team answered all our questions super fast, which made planning easy.
Our guides, Stephen and Manase, were fantastic. They knew everything about the mountain and kept us safe. Manase also told us really fun stories that made the long hikes go by quicker. The porters were strong and helpful, carrying our gear with smiles. And the cook? Wow! He made delicious, hot meals that gave us energy for each day's climb. The Lemosho route was beautiful, with views that took our breath away. Yes, the last two days were tough, a real challenge, but reaching the top (Uhuru Peak) made it all worth it! All eight of us stood on the peak together.
We're so thankful to Joseph and the whole Jaribu Africa team. They made our Kilimanjaro dream come true. If you want a well-organized and unforgettable Kilimanjaro trip, we highly recommend Jaribu Africa!

Enthusiastic and helpful.
I was visiting Victoria Falls with some friends after taking a look around Harare. For this portion of our trip we were really looking forward to laying back and having someone else take the reigns. Muza was our host and made us feel very taken care of for our entire trip. From the minute we hopped off the plane we were greeted at the airport and driven in a private shuttle. Muza did an amazing job at explaining every bit of the itinerary and at the same time being flexible towards our needs and preferences. For example whenever we needed to do any shopping or grab something from the store, Muza and our driver were more than willing to find us the best spots to take a break. The accommodations and meals booked for us vastly exceeded our expectations as well. Parts of the trip were also very wholesome and gave us a chance to authentically connect with the local community. Hands down worth every penny and I would recommend this group to anyone wanting a well catered experience.

Enthusiastic, welcoming, and customer-oriented- absolutely incredible trip management!
I contacted Santaviva on short notice (less than a week) for a gorilla trekking 1 day trip in Mgahinga National Park last month. At first, given the timing of my trip and requirements, I wasn't certain whether I'd have the chance to go Almost immediately Ivan responded, with information about logistics, availability, and answered every question I had about what to expect on the journey. The price he quoted was well within my budget and far lower than all of the other tour operators I contacted for both Uganda and Rwanda. Ivan's candidness and experience made me comfortable booking without hesitation! Website was easy to navigate as well, and the trekking permit arrived right on time.
The day before my tour was to begin, I was taking a public bus from Kigali, Rwanda and was somewhat delayed. It was quite nerve-racking thinking I might not make it to the border before closing time, but Ivan gave me detailed instructions on how to optimize my time and I was able to make it just before the gates closed. Am extremely grateful for his above-and beyond customer service here and his guidance- he was waiting for me at the border crossing ready to go back to the hotel right away! Accommodations at Santaviva are comfortable and spacious, with a private bathroom, lounge and built-in restaurant (excellent Rolex and tea for breakfast!) Went to bed excited for the day ahead.
The day of the adventure, Ivan drove me through the verdant Kisoro countryside, pointing out local landmarks as well as the impressive Mount Sabyinyo, Mount Gahinga, and Mount Muhabura volcanoes. He walked us up the hill to the trailhead and gave me plenty of tips of what to expect in the Gorilla's domain. The trail to see the Gorilla family in Mgahinga passed through thick brush at times and was somewhat steep, but absolutely manageable within 1 hour. The experience seeing a family with two silverbacks, adult female, juveniles and even an infant interacting, playing with each other, feeding and showing affection was absolutely BREATHTAKING and perhaps the highlight of my two week East Africa trip! It was everything I had dreamed of and even more.
Upon return from the hike around 12:30, Ivan drove us back directly to the border and sent me off with a fond farewell, allowing me plenty of time to make the bus back to Rwanda and my flight home. I cannot recommend him and his company, Santaviva, enough for their efforts in allowing me to have the smoothest, most enjoyable experience possible! It was truly awe-inspiring in every sense of the word, and I was most impressed with the hospitality and attention to detail him and his family showed me during my brief time in Uganda. Will absolutely recommend him for any size group or trip if you have dreams of a fantastic wildlife safari, Gorilla or otherwise, in the region.

Great Safari
We had an amazing safari and our guide was very professional. The accommodation was good and the journey from Nairobi took about four hours. Out on the safari, we got to see all the animals you simply have to see – a magical experience. I can highly recommend Martin as a contact person – very customer-focused and helpful
