A Fantastic Experience
5/5

Our safari to Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania surpassed our expectations in terms of the number of different animals we saw, how close we were able to come up to them, how well organized it was, the level of service and the fine acccommodations. Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the planning stages. It made us very relaxed knowing that that we had someone with his experience guiding us as we discussed the trip with him, both by phone and email. We would highly recommend Safari Partners to anyone, any age, thinking of taking a safari. It ranks as one of the best trips we have ever taken.

Taga Safaris Africa a truly professional operation
5/5

Our first trip to Africa was in April 2010. Searching the internet was quite daunting but we thought the Taga Safari site looked very professional , so we decided to contact Taga for advice on planning our African safari to South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Namibia.
We were truly impressed with the quick response to our numerous queries and the proactive manner in which Mark assisted us in planning our itinerary. He certainly has a great knowledge of Africa.
When we arrived in Johannesburg, Mark was at the airport to meet us and he escorted us to the transport base to begin our adventure. At no point during our entire trip did we feel unsafe or intimidated. At every transfer point to/from each safari or country, we were met by a Taga representative to ensure our timely and safe passage. The Taga representatives were always punctual, very courteous and competent.
We had such a wonderful trip thanks to the input of Mark and his Taga team, in fact we were so impressed that when we decided to return to South Africa for a safari lodge holiday (Sep,2011), we immediately contacted Mark to make the reservations. Once again we had the most wonderful trip and we are now looking forward to planning another safari holiday.
We commend Mark and his Taga team to anyone who is looking for a highly professional organiser, to assist and implement their plans for an African holiday, with the emphasis on seeing the magnificent wildlife in a safe, friendly and happy environment.

We loved Botswana
5/5

We had a wonderful time at each of our stops in Africa and would highly recommend Christine to anyone planning a trip to Africa. We stayed at three different safari lodges and they were all fabulous and each a bit different. The people we encountered were so exceptional and so knowledgeable, that I think we all came home feeling we had a very personal experience wherever we went.
Well done Christine!

Amazing, truly amazing...
5/5

We saw two crossings, soma parts were emotionally intense. A 4.5-5 meter croc drowned a baby zebra, pulled her into the muddy waters right in front of us. Am sure everyone felt it for her. Thank you again for providing me such an amazing experience, much appreciated.

An amazing experience!
5/5

Not knowing what to expect from a safari adventure, I couldn't say enough about what an amazing experience it was, surpassing my expectations. Everything was taken care of - from the Safari Jeep, to the wonderful driving skills, the outstanding food and accommodations ... and the best part would be seeing all the different animals and the history surrounding them. The Guide had a wealth of knowledge. If you are looking for an awesome adventure - contact Tanganyika Ancient Routes!

Photo Trip of a Lifetime
5/5

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary with a trip to Tanzania and go on a photo safari. We booked it on-line with Makasa Tanzanian Safaris. I communicated on-line with Selma Kamm and she is the best communicator for travel services I have ever worked with. Ngomi Kamm provided us with a 10 day safari that was fantastic. Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti National Park were visited. The abundance of wildlife was beyond what I ever imagined and we got superb pictures of a wide variety of African wildlife, including all five of the "big 5 dangerous game animals". The photo we got of a leopard is the best photo I have ever taken in 40 years of working in the photo business. The accommodations were first class and the Kamms have become life long friends. It was trip of a life time, and we will cherish this trip as the best of our extensive travels.

Once in a lifetime experience, so glad i did it with Tambuzi
5/5

A first class service from start to finish, extremely friendly staff, i visited a few game reserves around Hoedspruit, a backpackers lodge in Hazyview and then moved into the Kruger park, Gerts knowledge of the area and all the animals within it is immense. I did the budget camping and was extremely comfortable with the accommodation, our evenings were spent eating fine foods off the BBQ and enjoying the local beers and wines. I will recommend Tambuzi to anyone that's thinking of a safari in S. Africa, it's a brilliant experience with great people, can't wait to go again :-)

Out of 48 visits to Southern Africa, a significant number was made with the assistance of Taga. Top!
5/5

We have experienced quite a few ways to criss-cross Southern Africa over the past 20 years. Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbawe, South Africa being our favorite destinations. Sometimes organizing everything on our own, sometimes thanks to local friends, and in several occasions with the assistance of Taga Safaris. In the latter case, it has always been extremely successful. Mark has an extended knowledge of the destinations he recommends, always carefully taking into account his clients' preferences. We appreciated his reliability on all occasions. Keep going Mark! Jacqueline M.

16 Wonderful Days in Africa
5/5

This is my second experience with Tanganyika Ancient Routes and I could not have been happier. Every detail, no mater how tiny, was given the staff's quick and complete attention. The food was outstanding and each member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure our every wish was granted. They were enormously helpful with language and money questions and always gave us a feeling of safety and security especially when we were required to cross the border to another country. The safari tour of the Crater was so beautiful. It was a wild ride that I will not soon forget. I would highly recommend Tanganyika Ancient Routes to anyone interested in traveling to Africa and, if I go back to Tanzania, I would book with them again.

A delightful family Safari in Kenya
5/5

My family and I had a delightful trip to Kenya in early August of this year. We traveled with E-Trip Africa, who came highly recommended from one of the teachers at my daughter’s school, Mr. Jennings. Turns out his son owns and manages E-Trip. Since it is a big investment for a safari, we did compare many companies to be sure that we got the most out of our budget.

We were met at Nairobi by our guide Moses and the manager Ben. Since the flights were so long it made sense to spend two nights in Nairobi to get used to the time zone. During the first day we took our first game in Nairobi Park and then visited Sheldricks Elephant Orphanage. It was so nice to see the little guys come to take the milk. It is extremely sad that people are killing their mothers only for the Ivory. We then went to the Giraffe center and fed Giraffe.

We then went to Lakes Bogoria and Baringo as my husband is a bird fanatic. We had a great trip around the lake with a guide named Cliff. He was able to tell us so much about the birds and we had a nice walk around some cliffs to find different owls. Two days in this area was not enough, but we were anxious to see the animals.

Then we went to Nakuru. This park was very nice but the lake is very full and there were only a few flamingoes. We did get to see Rhino’s, which was one of the main goals of the trip as there is a good chance that they will disappear during my children’s lifetime. Also this was our first time to see Lions in the wild. They were just lying around, so it was a little disappointing. We then went to the Sleeping Warrior Camp, which was amazing. The night game drive was a real exciting experience and we saw an aardvark, which I guess is extremely rare. The next day we hiked to the crater and enjoyed the Hyrax around the camp.

Our trip finished with 4 days in Masai Mara. It was like a scene from a National Geographic film. The wildebeest were all over the place. We got to see lions hunt some down, which was amazing but I don’t know if I could watch it again because I don’t even like the sight of blood. The experience could not have been better. We stayed at a tented camp called Mara Eden Safari Camp. All through the night you could hear the animals, it was really a full experience. The camp managers were a riot and we really had a nice time by the campfire with them.

We returned to find the Nairobi airport nearly burnt to the ground. Ben had everything worked out and the whole process was rather smooth. We got on our flight back to civilization, with the fondest memories and the desire to one day return.
