9 days of wonderful adventure with superb guide, Philipo
5/5

I travel solo and consequently the price was accordingly, but basically with great acommodation, wonderful food and amazing adventure, it was amazing. I found that something happened pretty much all the time, it is more now at home that I realise how amazing this was. I included 2 night excurtions, which were really extraordinary. You see lions just lying on the dirt road, chilling out.
Wile I did see the big 5, and many more beautiful animals & birds, I do recommend bringing some sort og binoculars / zoom lens. You also need a certain amount of patience, as it may take a while for the leopard to pose, as in my experience.
I recommend it 100 %, everything was organised as intended. Acommodation was great and the food likewise. Most importantly was that my guide / drive Philipo was able and willing to go the extra mile. His knowledge was passed on freely and basically, I had a fabulous time.

Best hiking experience ever!
5/5

Best hiking experience ever! I did the 7-day lemosho hiking route at Kilimanjaro, our guide Charles has been amazing, giving all kinds of useful information, making sure I have everything I need and well prepared for all kinds of situations. He’s pretty encouraging as well, constantly giving me momentum and keeping a really good pace. We also have a nice team with our chef Nicolas, and porters Peter, Julius, Dominic and Riziki, super grateful for all the efforts they’ve put in. Anyway, this has been the most amazing experience ever, I’ll definitely consider taking my family and friends with me next time. Thank u guys.

It has been an unforgettable experience. A dream trip.
5/5

Everything was ok.
The guide and the driver have been very attentive and the coordinador quickly resolved our doubts. We saw the big five, increíble. We paid in dolars. The lodges are well equipped and the food is good.

Outstanding attention to detail!
5/5

Right from our first inquiry Gail was right on board! She helped us plan our trip and made sure all the small details were attended to. Accommodation was spot on, transfers and drivers were on time and informative. Gail kept in touch with us constantly and answered all our questions as the day to departure approached. Could not fault Gail from Pembury tours. Highly recommend them.

Exceptional service from Axis leaving us with wonderful memories
5/5

We were referred to Axis by friends. We wanted guidance and help building an itinerary to visit Masai Mara and Diani beach in one week. From the start Lucy could not have been more helpful. Communication by email and WhatsApp was prompt, very efficient, invariably helpful and patient with our many questions and changing thoughts. The final itinerary was perfect for us and within our budget. All we needed to do was book international flights - everything else was sorted by Axis. Whilst in Kenya, Lucy dealt with any questions by WhatsApp swiftly and always with a great solution - we felt very well looked after and that nothing was too much trouble.
The safari was amazing, everything we had hoped for. Our guide Tonny was fantastic. He went out of his way to show us the very best of Masai Mara and we saw so much of it and the wildlife. We learnt a lot about the Mara and animals from Tonny. We always felt safe, on the plains and the drive to and from Nairobi, and really enjoyed his good natured company.
The camp and hotel in Diani were great. Overall the week was excellent value for money.
The final day being taken around Nairobi by David was a fabulous way to end the week.
Overall, we have memories that will stay with us lifelong. Can’t fault Axis in any way. Highly recommended. Thank you Lucy, Tonny and David.

Great gorilla experience
4/5

We booked a gorilla trek in Bwindi forest with Big Apes. The transport to and from the starting point of the trek was very good, and the person picking us up did a very good job. Only point was that I asked my point of contact in the back office several times for information about hour and location to pick us up and asked several times to send out the final invoice and the permits, but did not receive that information until the evening before the trek (causing stress). In the end we did the payment settlement after the tour in a hotel where we had wifi. In the end the tour worked out very well, but communication can be improved.
