Ker & Downey Africa not only helped our group of 22 plan an amazing trip, they were there with us every step of the way. We had an amazing time in the Masai Mara thanks to our fantastic guide Wycliffe! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we saw so many animals – including lions, elephants, and even a cheetah. We had a 3-days Masai-Mara tour with a guide called Jackson. We also visited Naivasha lake and Masai-Mara village. The trip was impressive and when we got stuck it made it even more exciting! Everything went smoothly. Jackson is a nice guy with a great knowledge of wild animals’ lives. He is attentive, passionate and a good driver.

Unforgettable Kenya & Tanzania Safari with African Steenbok Safaris
We had an absolutely amazing experience with African Steenbok Safaris. We have 12 people for this trip. From the initial planning stage to the very end of our trip, everything was perfectly organized and professionally handled. The team was responsive, helpful, and flexible throughout the entire process, making us feel supported and confident from start to finish.
A special thanks to our guide Dave, who made the entire trip extra special. He was not only experienced and knowledgeable, but also attentive to our needs — always one step ahead, taking care of everything quietly and thoughtfully. He had a great eye for spotting animals and made each game drive exciting and informative.
What truly made this safari unforgettable was the sheer abundance of wildlife. We saw so many animals up close — including lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and rhinos. We even saw two hunts in a single day, which was absolutely thrilling! Every day brought new surprises and unforgettable moments.

we had a great experience with Serengeti Smile.
Booking agent - Jonyo - We highly recommend him. He booked all our stays and planned out the entire trip. Everything went great.
Guide/driver - Lucas - He was excellent. Saw all big fives. Had 4x4 land cruiser with two rows(not the one with three rows) which was way more comfortable and roomy than the regular land cruisers that has three rows. Lucas is very knowledgeable and patient. We were a family of four and kids of 9 and 13 years of age. Lucas took appropriate time to stop, describe animals and take pictures.
We witness the migration and were staying at different hotels every night. I think it was worth spending night at different places since central, western and northern Serengeti have different ecosystem. We had enough time for shopping and also visit Hindu temple(BAPS) in Arusha.
Overall we were very happy and satisfied with our trip.
Hotels that we stayed at - Maliaka camp, Kirawira Serena camp, Serena lodge in central Serengeti, Mt Meru hotel and Farm of dreams.
All are good hotels.

Spectacular!!!
We visited Tarangire national park, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, lake Manyara and then finished off our stay in Zanzibar. Tanzania is beautiful and the people are wonderful, friendly and helpful.
My husband is 70 and I’m mid 60’s. We felt safe at all times and had the best experience. If you are thinking about a safari we would wholeheartedly recommend Tanzania. I can’t imagine anywhere else could compete with it for wildlife, scenery, culture and people.
