Joel was an amazing tour operator. He organised an amazing safari for my 3 friends and I.
5/5

Joel the tour organiser organised an amazing safari trip for my 3 friends and I. We were lucky enough to see 5 out of the big 5 during the 4 day safari. I loved learning about the Masai tribe and of course getting so close to the animals in the serengeti. It was the stuff of dreams. Benjamin, the driver, did his absolute best to ensure we got to see all the animals and that we enjoyed our trip to the fullest. Thanks for making our dreams come true guys!

A professional, personal and stress-free experience throughout.
5/5

I was part of a 21-person group tour with Lion King Adventures for 12 days.

My first contact with the company was with the friendly Simon, who warmly welcomed us with a signboard at Kilimanjaro airport and took us to our accommodation in Arusha. His vehicle was very clean and comfortable.

Safari Week
We had a special welcome in the form of the owner of Lion King himself, James, who received us at the Seronera Airstrip in the Serengeti. This is where we also met our safari guides – for our northern circuit (part thereof) tour – Emmanuel, Ozzie, Saleh and Yusuph and enjoyed welcoming drinks. We saw a lot of animals during the trip, with our first leopard sighting only a few minutes into the first game drive. Amazing! My personal highlights were the endless plains of migrating Wildebeest & Zebra in the Serengeti and the splendor of Ngorongoro Crater. Warm lunches every day at very scenic spots were delicious and always more than enough – even catering for the various dietary requirements of the group. I favored Emmanuel's style of guiding and made sure I was always the first to jump in his 4x4. The guides shared valuable insights of the animals, people and environments throughout the tour, all the way from the Serengeti, through Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and back to Arusha. The vehicles were like new and very comfortable to travel in the parks, as well as on the longer travels between them.

Mt Meru Hike
Four of us remained behind to go on a 4day/3night hike of Mt Meru. We were joined on the hike by Godwin, the IT guy from Lion King, which was really pleasant. Our guides Saladin and Emmanuel were great and came to our hotel the night before, to meet and brief us on the hike. We were picked up at our hotel by bus the following morning, were we met the rest of the team of kitchen staff, waiters and porters – all absolutely great people – real professionals who made our entire hiking experience super enjoyable and memorable.

A special mention and huge thanks goes to Rose in the Lion King office – she is someone I have never met of spoken to, yet her name always seemed to come up when things needed to be arranged. The entire trip ran like clockwork – everyone knew where they needed to be and at the right time – this is something that really stood out to me during the trip and ensured a stress-free experience throughout.

On the last day, we were picked up on-time by Charles and taken to Kilimanjaro airport, again in a spotless and very comfortable vehicle. Charles was very friendly and polite. He was quiet, the perfect driver for the end of a tiring but very exciting trip. :)

Asante sana Lion King, for the great memories! I would certainly recommend you to others wanting to experience the best that Tanzania has to offer.

We felt comfort in whole safari
5/5

We combined a safari and a trip to the beach during our trip, which was a wonderful experience. During the five-day safari, we visited the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire, where we saw numerous wildlife, including the Big Five. Our guide Jackson was an expert, and he was able to find the animals incredibly quickly." After the safari, we spent four days in Zanzibar, relaxing on the white sand beaches and exploring the history of Stone Town. This trip was a great combination of excitement and relaxation-in a word, awesome!

Knowledgeable and very responsive
5/5

Janet, our agent, was the consummate professional throughout our experience. She was attentive and accommodating during the planning process and made any requested changes in a timely manner. She was in constant contact with us throughout our trip and made sure to keep us informed of our itinerary and any changes that might have occurred. Our accommodations were first class. If you’re headed to Masai Mara request the Sarova Lodge and thank me later. The value for the money was superb. All of our guides and drivers were knowledgeable, professional and just good people all around. Our transfers were seamless. The safaris, mountain hikes, visits to local villages and beach experiences and everything in between were simply amazing. We highly recommend Janet and Jaavia Adventures when planning your trip to Kenya and Tanzania.

A unforgettable experience to the roof of Africa, made by the people at Almighty Kilimanjaro!
5/5

Where do I start, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had and a mental challenge that I will never forget especially summit night!!

The communication from Almighty Kilimanjaro from start to finish was excellent!!

The trip was exactly as described in terms of the route, however we decided to change it to 7 days on the Lemosho route, this was out of my choice and there was no pressure by anyone to make this change on the mountain!

Muntari you are a gem and I truly thank you for taking me up the mountain with you and your team and giving me your knowledge of the mountain and sharing stories with me, a little Eminem also helped!!

You made me laugh so much on this trip and the memories shared with you will always be with me. Your daughter is so lucky to have a father like you!!

Chef Shabani, you kept me energised throughout the trip and made me look forward to each and every meal time, especially with those pancakes and if I could take you home to be my private chef then I would, but I don’t want to take you away from Muntari as I think he might miss you!! Thank you for everything and helping guide me down on the descent.

Amani, thank you for the hot tea every morning and the washie washie water every day. Your smile each morning made me motivated from the first point every morning, you are a real treasure!!

Also thank you to the rest of of the other porters, you work so hard each day to ensure camp is set up before I arrive and without you guys, I would have never made it down from the summit!

Thank you to you all and for welcoming me to your beautiful country, I will never forget this experience or any of you and you will forever have a place in my heart!!

I wish all good health to you and your families and future safety on every future climb up the mountain!

Nawapende Sana, Asanteni Sana, Rafiki Sana!!!

Perfect customer service and organization
5/5

Since the very beginning of the organization, this agency was the best one: very quick responses, they adapted the organized tour of 16 days to our needs because we had "only" 14 days. Leilani and Philip made a great job booking all the accommodation and organising the trip. They answered very quickly about all our doubts about the organisation. We chose the mid range lodges with food included. We were expecting the typical sandwich ham and cheese but it was an amazing surprise to know that everyday the meals were in a restaurant, and you could choose whatever you wanted. The lodges were also above our expectations, almost all of them with a swimming pool and comfortable beds. A special mention to our guide, Akser, that made a big effort to make us satisfied and happy. He's a very good driver, and in etosha was capable of seeing animals from very far away. He was also available to stop whenever we needed it.
Recommended 100%. The price worth it.

If i can give just a suggestion, in etosha, due to the distances, would be better the namotoni lodge instead of halali.

Anyway thanks to Akser we saw Lions, Elephants, cheetah and Ryno!

Amazing experience!!
