Great knowledge about Lalibela
I had one day to spend in Lalibela, and Daniel organised a very interesting tour focusing on the most interesting carved churches. It was amazing! Lalibela has a unique kind of Christianity, and Daniel knows a lot about the history of the place. Also the tour that followed in Afar Region was organised by Dan Lalibela tours. It was remarkable and everything ran as planned. I can strongly recommend Dan Lalibela tours!

Memorable Safari with incredible Animal sightings throughout
I went on the 5-day all-around Northern Tanzanian Safari experience, through Tarangire, Serengeti, Manyara, and Ngorongoro National parks. Each was an amazing experience truly, my guides over all 5 game drives providing useful information throughout and driving to strategic anima viewpoints. Saw Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Cheetah, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo, Zebra, and even Rhino from a distance! Driving through the grasslands across these stunning lands was the perfect scenic backdrop, and as I was a solo traveler meeting all the awesome people who paired with me on this journey added to the experience. Dan is an absolutely outstanding example of a professional guide - trustworthy, informed and caring.
When a trip to Madagascar was suddenly cancelled, I faced the prospect of being ‘stranded’ in Rwanda with no forwarding address. A stressful situation, especially as a mature woman and solo traveler.
Then I came across Daniel Shewalem of Dan Lalibela Tours in Ethiopia (NOT to be confused with Lalibela Ethiopian tours), who proved to be my guardian angel.
Dan helped me to book travel tickets, work through several unforeseen difficulties, and mapped out an absorbing itinerary geared to my interests and budget.
As a guide, he is an excellent communicator, and extremely knowledgeable, especially about the historical and cultural significance of Lalibela and the surrounding area.
Staying here was the perfect introduction to this extraordinary country where the landscapes roam from lush, rolling mountains, to vast expanses of salt plains, desert sands and vistas of volcanic rock that stretch to the horizon. And then there’s the Omo Valley, as richly diverse in its countryside as in its many tribal communities.
Dan ‘s care, kindness and professionalism are exceptional, and this far-reaching itinerary was successful because of his excellent resources: a network of regional guides and drivers who reflected those same ‘above and beyond’ qualities.
I have had many travel experiences in my 50+ years of globe-trotting and without doubt, Dan is a rare find. He created one of my most memorable adventures for which I will be eternally grateful.

Personalised and exceptional service
Rob listened to our brief and asked all the right questions (even asking questions that I had not considered!). The communication until booking was super efficient and we found ourselves booking in no time. The travel app allowed us to know exactly what we were doing and when, which was super. The actual travel experience was organised to the 'nth degree'. I could not have hoped for more local attention and help at the airports and the camps and anything in between. We did 3 fabulous camps in Kenya and everything went exactly to plan. It was just marvelous and Rob's team on the ground were just fantastic. It was a trip of a lifetime and we could not have done it without Rob's insight and experience and the organisation that Tailormade Africa provided.

Fast in replies and very flexible to customize our tour even in very short notice booking
With my husband we decided to go to a safari adventure in Tanzania very last minute. And even with short notice, Judith was very fast and gentle in her replies to all our questions and helped us customize the trip based on our specific interests and needs.
The communication was very clear and quick so it helped us decide to book with Full Package travels.
Our guide Max hosted us with his friendly and warm personality. He always kept a positive attitude even when we had small technical problem with the car. He solved it quickly on our lunch break and didn't let our safari excitement fade. He went the extra mile and made sure that we saw all the animals we were interested in seeing although they were as rare as cheetah and black rhino. We are happy to get to know him and grateful for his service.
Also, the luxury tents and lodges they booked for us were surprisingly good. We fell in love with the Classic View luxury tents in Serengeti and definitely recommend to check them out too.
5 full days of safari definitely wwas worth the price and had great time in this beautiful country as first time visitor.
