Excellent Safari Experience with Sound of Serengeti, Highly Recommended!
We booked a New Year’s day trip to Tarangire National Park with Sound of Serengeti, and it was an unforgettable experience. During the safari, we managed to see many animals and different species, but what impressed us the most were the massive herds of elephants with their big heads and the iconic baobab trees that make Tarangire so unique.
A special thank you goes to our professional driver-guide, Domician, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He patiently answered all our questions and shared interesting wildlife facts throughout the safari, which made the entire trip even more enjoyable.
From the very beginning, communication with Eliad was smooth and reliable. He responded to all our questions on time, provided clear and helpful information, and made the whole booking process easy and stress-free. His support really helped us enjoy our holiday to the fullest.

Awesome experience
Our New Year’s day safari to Tarangire with Sound of Serengeti was a wonderful experience. From the start, communication with Eliad was excellent, he was responsive, clear, and very helpful in organizing the trip.
During the safari, we enjoyed seeing a wide variety of animals, with the large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees being the highlights. Our driver-guide, Domician, was professional and knowledgeable, sharing wildlife facts and answering all our questions, which made the trip even more enjoyable.
We are very grateful to the Sound of Serengeti team for their great service and would happily recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Excellent and well organized trip
We went on a 3 day Safari trip from Zanzibar (Central Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro NP, Tarangire NP) and it was awesome. Professional Safari Africa did pretty well. The tour was well organized. Guide Jonas was excellent, he has vast knowledge about animals and very good eyesight. His English is almost perfect.
As for the wildlife, we saw the big 5 and more. Even pack of 4 black rhinos at Ngorongoro. Accommodation was good, food was good. Car had fridge with cold drinks and water. Also had power outlets to charge phones/cameras.
Communication with their staff was good, we talked on many occasions and they were really responsive.
The only nitpick here is the shortened last day. We could easily spend 1h more at Tarangire, maybe drive down to the river across lunch spot where elephants were drinking. But we left about 12:00 and arrived too early at the airport. But this did not ruin our experience, we saw all what we needed previously.

A reliable tour company with knowledgeable and experienced guides!
Since it was my first safari tour, I wasn’t sure at first what to expect or how to prepare, and I felt a bit anxious. But thanks to Rosemary, the organizer, who kindly explained everything in advance, I was able to join the tour with total peace of mind.
During the tour, our chef Yusuf cooked delicious meals every day - I honestly fell in love with African food!
Our guide, Kefas, was incredibly knowledgeable about safaris and wildlife, and he shared deep insights about the animals we encountered and the situations we observed along the way.
He’s also an excellent driver, so even during long rides on rough roads, I never felt physically exhausted.
Whenever even a small issue came up, the team communicated quickly and provided support right away.
This is a truly trustworthy tour company with reliable, professional guides.

The boss is very responsible and replies to messages very quickly, much faster than their Chinese customer service.
I highly recommend Caleb, the guide from this tour company. He's incredibly fast at finding animals, knows all the trails, and you don't have to squeeze in with other groups to photograph the same creature. He can spot a lion in the bushes from a great distance—amazing! He works incredibly hard every day, getting up early and working late with us without a single complaint. His driving skills are also top-notch; it felt like everyone on the safari route was his friend.
We had him test our MBTI, and he's an ENFJ—very reliable and responsible.

Mermar is absolutely fantastic!
We took 2 private safaris with Mermar. Everything about the safaris was amazing.
Our Guide Gerald was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. He had a knack for finding the animals we wanted to see. He was also very personable and fun to be around. We always felt safe when driving with Gerald.
The Land Cruiser vehicles used for our trips were basically new and in excellent condition. The seats were very comfortable, and the roof lifted up allowing us to stand and get a 360deg view.
Prossy did an excellent job of planning everything. Our schedule was packed, but that’s how we wanted it. We had fantastic accommodations where we felt like royalty. Our favorite was the Aardvark Safari Lodge, with Rwakobo Rock and Murchison Falls Bamboo Village close behind. The food was incredible and the restaurants did a good job of catering to our dietary needs (gluten-free and dairy-free).
If you’re contemplating a trip to Uganda for some safaris, I highly recommend booking with Mermar.

Azie shared a wealth of information during our safari about the animals and the environment.
Azie was very accommodating during our 8 day safari. Before we left Arusha he took me to two grocery stores so I could try to buy goat milk for my coffee. No luck didn't stop him.! He even offered to stop along the road to milk a camel! He spoke Swahili and enroute a few days later there were some young Massai crossing the road with a large herd of goats. He asked if we could buy some goat milk. The young boys were all in! We had a successful and exciting experience assisting in the goat milk caper! Everyday was full of listening to him share his expertise about animals and the environment . He has a great sense of humor. His driving skills kept us moving as we passed many vehicles which had broken down on the rough roads. His shared passion for Africa left us wanting to return. We were able to express our gratitude by sharing an early morning hot-air balloon ride! He is a father of two and the stories he shared of family would make anyone comfortable bringing their children with. Our safari experience still echoes in my memory and vibrates in my being. Azie gives The "Dark Continent' a grand Ray of Light!
