Unforgettable 4-Day Safari Adventure in Tanzania
5/5

We recently returned from an unforgettable 4-day safari through Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, and I can confidently say it was the trip of a lifetime. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and much of that credit goes to our incredible guide, Baraka.

From the moment we met him, Baraka’s warmth, professionalism, and passion for wildlife made us feel instantly at ease. He has an extraordinary depth of knowledge about the animals, landscapes, and culture of Tanzania. Every sighting came alive thanks to his storytelling and insights—from the smallest bird to the great herds of wildebeest.

Serengeti National Park: The vast plains were everything I dreamed of and more. We witnessed lions lounging under acacia trees, a cheetah sprinting across the savannah, and elephants gracefully moving in family herds. Baraka always seemed to know exactly where to go for the best sightings, while still respecting the animals and the environment.

Ngorongoro Crater: A breathtaking natural wonder. Descending into the crater felt like entering another world, where wildlife roams in abundance. We saw rhinos, zebras, flamingos, and countless other animals, all set against the dramatic backdrop of the crater walls.

Lake Manyara: Though smaller than the other parks, it was full of surprises. The lush greenery and birdlife were incredible, and we were lucky enough to see a female elephant and her baby.

What made this safari so special was not only the beauty of the parks but the way Baraka guided us through them. He was patient, attentive, and always eager to answer questions. His driving skills were excellent, and he made sure we were comfortable, safe, and well taken care of throughout the journey.

Every day was filled with excitement, yet also with a sense of peace and connection to nature. The accommodations, meals, and logistics were seamless, but it was Baraka’s dedication and enthusiasm that turned a great safari into an extraordinary one.

If you are planning a safari in Tanzania, I cannot recommend both the itinerary and Baraka enough. This was an adventure I will cherish forever, and I left with not only amazing photos and memories but also a deep appreciation for the wildlife and people of Tanzania.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) – Absolutely unforgettable!

A Memorable 6-Day Safari with Tanzania Memories (Formerly African Reflection Tours)

We had an unforgettable 6-day safari as a family group back in April, and although we traveled under the name African Reflection Tours, we’re happy to finally share our review now under their new name – Tanzania Memories Tours & Safaris. And yes, the new name couldn’t be more fitting – because this trip truly left us with lifelong memories!

From the very beginning, the team was well-organized, professional, and responsive. Our guide Richard was absolutely fantastic – knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about wildlife. He had a great sense of humor, kept us safe and comfortable, and always knew the best spots for incredible sightings.

We explored Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater – each day brought new highlights, from herds of elephants and big cats to the breathtaking landscapes and sunsets. Our accommodations were clean and well-located, with delicious meals and friendly staff.

As a family traveling with both adults and kids, we felt well taken care of. Every detail was handled with care, and there was always flexibility to ensure we enjoyed the trip at our own pace.

We highly recommend Tanzania Memories Tours & Safaris to anyone looking for an authentic and personal safari experience in Tanzania. Thank you again to Richard and the entire team – you gave us a journey we’ll never forget!

Excellent tour with Axis
5/5

We asked Axis to organize for us a tour composed by a 7 days safari and 5 days in Diani Beach.
Everything has been perfect, the communications with Rita before e during the trip, the camps and lodges and expecially the drivers. Mr. Hassan was our driver in the safari and he gave us a lot of informations about the Parks and the animals. With him we have seen all the big five and the ugly five!
All the transfer have been safe and well organised, from our arrival until the drop off to the airport at the end of our holidays.
Thank you to Rita and Axis staff for their job!

Attentive and Aims to Please
5/5

Heading home from a fantastic 4-day, 3-night solo safari with Sustainable Safari Tours (SST) to the Ngogorondo Crater and Serengeti. Where do I start? I am an older woman solo traveler; I was looking for an outfitter who would provide safe and dependable transportation, good communication and an excellent experience at a moderate price. I chose SST. First, Joshua was extremely attentive and communicative. He and I discussed my needs and I decided on a camping trip. He was responsive when I asked questions as I prepared and on the trip itself. He put together a wonderful itinerary. My driver Jumo and John the cook took good care of all my needs - setting up camp, making delicious meals and safely driving from place to place and in the Serengeti and Crater. No small feat given Tanzanian roads and keeping an eye out for wildlife. Which brings me to my last point- the experience. I had a rich and full adventure! Good food, exposure to the culture, and spotting wildlife. The safari itself was the star of the show- I saw every wild animal on this list up close and across the landscape. I am walking away with some great memories, beautiful photos, and new friends.

Incredible tour guides! Once in a lifetime worthwhile experience.
5/5

My group of family friends (21 people total) travelled to Kenya for a 6-day safari with Splendid Vacations. We visited Amboseli NP, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara Reserve.

Our guides - Alex, Masila, Malolo, and Teemo — were very knowledgeable and personable. We saw every animal we hoped to see, including plenty of lions, a leopard, cheetah, elephants, rhinos, hippos, and so much more!

Splendid Vacations was also great about accommodating dietary restrictions and we were always well fed with nutritious food.

I definitely recommend booking a tour with this group, every bumpy car ride was worth it!

Very well-organized, communicative, and personable tour guides!
5/5

Communication:

We had an incredible experience on the Safari thanks to the meticulous planning by James. We had a large group of 21 people with differing requests and James worked with us every step of the way to customize our package.

Safari Experience:

Our 4 tour guides Alex, Timo, Masila, and Malolo were super personable and knowledgeable about the animals we were seeing. They were constantly communicating over radio to find the best viewing locations for our cars, and we saw all kinds of animals in multiple settings. Overall, the safari felt fulfilling, and I can confidently say that everyone in our group had a positive experience.

The tour guides were personable, kind, and so engaging!
5/5

We had a wonderful experience with Splendid Vacations. Our tour group had 21 people aged 26-62! Given how large and diverse our group was, Splendid Vacations did everything they could to give all of us a wonderful experience. We did a 6-day-safari and went to Amboseli National Park (2 nights), Lake Nakuru (1 night), and Masai Mara (2 nights).

James, from the central office, worked with us to help plan the trip and was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and helpful. He answered all of our questions and made sure the trip ran smoothly. He also helped us with some last-minute adjustments and changes.

Our tour guides: Alex, Timo, Masila, and Malolo were all amazing. Our group got to know all 4 tour guides and enjoyed their company. Each of them was engaging, easy to talk to, and comfortably able to communicate with our group. They were very knowledgeable and taught us about things along the entire way. We were able to see all of the Big 5 and also got to see a cheetah eatings its hunted gazelle, a lioness feeding her cubs, an antelope giving birth, and more crazy things. All thanks to the guides.

The Jeeps were very spacious and were able to transport the baggage for all of our groups. One thing to note is that some of the travel times listed are variable and may take longer than written depending on weather, traffic, and other circumstances. Also, the rides can be bumpy so it is worth carrying a neck pillow or something to protect your joints if you are prone to neck/back pain.

Many members of our group had various dietary restrictions and practiced vegetarian diets. Splendid Vacations was helpful in accommodating that diet and all of the lodges we stayed at were super friendly as well.

I absolutely recommend booking Splendid Vacations for your next trip!!!

Wonderful skill to find birds and his sincere love for the birds and animals.
5/5

He is the best communicator as a birds&animals guide. Not only to find them, but whenever he finds something he shows the page of them in his picture book and give us good explanations. Let us introduce 3 episodes:
1) One morning he found a Sulawesi Serpent-Eagle in the very dark forest. He himself was so excited about it, because the bird was so unique in Africa. The fact the guide himself is so excited shows that we have found such wonderful birds&animals.
2) The drive in Serengeti is tough. The driver needs to be careful enough for the dusty and bumpy roads. We were very pleased about his calm and collected way of the driving and guiding us.
3) He always pays his attention to what we want to see and very eager to let us see them in the best condition.
We were very happy with him and many beautiful birds&animals. Wish to come back there very soon.

Wonderful and unforgettable experience in Kenya with KET
5/5

It was a great exploration and wonderful experience in Kenya with KET . Also nice stay in Ol Tukai lodge with great mountain view there. It was so chill and relax.
Thanks to KET that arranged everything for me. Paul is very helpful and trustworthy. The communication through email is smooth and they reply very timely. You can propose what you want and they will help you to achieve.
My driver guide Obadiah is also a very good driver guide! He took me to explore Amboseli and saw many animals so closely.
Will definitely recommend KET Safaris to my friends and hope to have a chance to come again next time.

Don't Just See Uganda, Experience Uganda
5/5

I did a specialized 'tour' whete I was able to do two weeks of living with a Ugandan family and volunteering with several women's agricultural groups near Lugazi. THE EXPERIENCE WAS AMAZING! Living with a family gave me genuine experiences into what village life in Uganda is like. And the volunteering was a way to work alongside village women and experience Ugandan farming and how they feed their families.

If you want to not just see Uganda, but experience it, then ask about their volunteering experience.
