Phine Safaris provided everything we needed from start to finish for our 10 day trip to Kenya. Starting with Kelvin, he tailored the itinerary to meet every request we had, greeted us at the beginning of our trip, and left no detail for us to worry about it between lodging and transfers. There wasn’t an animal we didn’t see with our driver Nick, who checked off the Big 5 for us and focused on what we wanted to see. We are a family from the UK and we wanted to use a Kenya based company to help us with our safari and this company was amazing. Helpful and knowledgeable and they helped us plan an amazing trip to Lakipia and the Masai Mara and onto Diani Beach (at the beach we then made our own plans). I did a tremendous amount of research and spoke to several operators at once in my pre-trip planning stage. Big Apes was be only one that PATIENTLY, KINDLY AND INFORMATIVELY answered all my questions, flexibly incorporated all my changes as my travel ideas and wishes changed throughout the planning process. Once on the ground during the trip, the execution of our plans were realized perfectly by an extremely competent guide who was a pleasure to work with. The flora, fauna and animal species were mind blowing. The culture was amazing! We felt so incredibly welcomed by the Ugandan people who are so committed to conservation and the welfare of their natural resources and diverse animals. It’s important to note that any safari is tough and it’s a commitment to sometimes unexpected, last minute changes or unplanned events (you are NOT going to Disney!) . Big Apes goes the distance however to make sure the customer is taken care of and provided for to the maximum of their abilities. Happiness is their mission! This was the trip of our lifetime and I would absolutely go with Big Apes if I ever did another trip to Uganda!

We have just returned from an incredible safari holiday in Tanzania organised by Gosheni Safaris. Thanks so much to Prosper, Nora and the team for making our stay so memorable. Our guide Prosper made our trip which covered Tarangiri, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti very special with his great sense of humour and expert knowledge. Prosper always knew where and when to spot the wildlife. We saw something new each day, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, flamingos...the list goes on, culminating in experiencing thousands of wildebeest crossing the Mara River. The recommended hotels and camps were well located, had all the home comforts, good food and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend Gosheni.
