Great wildlife, but the operator is unreliable, disorganized, and unprofessional.
We booked the 3-day gorilla trekking and golden monkey tour with high expectations, especially considering the significant cost. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by poor organization and lack of professionalism.
1. Hotel choices not respected: we were told we could select our preferred accommodations from the proposed list and communicated our choices well in advance. Upon arrival, however, we were placed in different lodges without any explanation.
2. Chaotic start: our guide was supposed to pick us up at 9 a.m. in Kigali. At 9, he texted saying his car had broken down and he would arrive at 10. At 10, there was no sign of him, and he stopped answering both calls and messages. We contacted the tour operator, who promised to check and call us back… but never did. Only around 11:30 did the guide get in touch again, saying he would send someone else at 12. That person showed up at 12:30, and after multiple unnecessary stops finally brought us to the guide. As a result, instead of arriving in Uganda by 2:30 p.m. as planned, we arrived at 9:30 p.m., completely missing the Batwa community visit. There was no refund, no alternative arrangement, and not even a formal apology from the tour operator.
3. Payment under pressure: on the very morning of the gorilla trek, the guide insisted we pay the full remaining balance immediately, implying that otherwise we would not be allowed to join the activity. It was not an outright threat, but the timing left us with no real choice.
I understand that car breakdowns can happen, but the complete lack of communication and accountability from both the guide and the operator is unacceptable, especially for a tour at this price point. The gorilla encounter itself was, of course, an unforgettable experience, but that is thanks to nature, not the operator.
In summary: breathtaking landscapes and wildlife, but the service from this operator was disappointing. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliability, respect for agreements, and professional conduct.

An amazing safari experience!
We absolutely loved our four day safari package in the Kruger National Park. The guides (specifically Goodman, Wisdom, Lambs, another Wisdom) all went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We have two young kids and they all made sure they were looked after and accommodated for. Our sales rep (Ruben) was incredibly helpful, informative and reliable in our communications - and also incredibly responsive to any questions or enquires we had before and during the trip. Would highly recommend MoAfrika for a safari tour package.

Great experience
It was a once in a lifetime experience exploring the wildness in Kenya and our driver/guide Fransis truly went out of his way to make it memorable.
We did a safari for 5 days convering masai mara, lake nakuru, hells gate and ambosoli. Each had thier unique charm and we saw tons of wildlife, infact saw big five two days in row.
I would happily recommend Jocky tours and safaris for travelers looking to visit Kenya.

Very good and reliable
It was a once in a lifetime experience exploring the wildness in Kenya and our driver/guide Fransis truly went out of his way to make it memorable.
We did a safari for 5 days convering masai mara, lake nakuru, hells gate and ambosoli. Each had thier unique charm and we saw tons of wildlife, infact saw big five two days in row.
I would happily recommend Jocky tours and safaris for travelers looking to visit Kenya.

Ozon Light Tours was a great choice during our lifetime African Safari experience. From the planning stage, Mr. Nuhu was very attentive, timely response, very professional and made time to meet us during the last day of our safari before heading to Zanzibar. Agustin, our safari guide, was excellent, very patient, attention to details and made our safari experience unforgettable. Mr. Nuhu made sure we were taken care of while we were in Zanzibar- from transportation, accommodation and island tour. Grace from Villa Kiva Boutique Hotel made an arrangement with a nice young man, Ali, for our island activities and transportations. Ozon Light Tour is highly recommended and did not disappoint during our Safari to the Beach family vacation in Tanzania.

Can be trusted
Our guide in Kenya was amazing! Super nice and friendly, and he really knew how to make the safari special. Every time we stopped, he managed to park the vehicle in the perfect spot so we could get the best views and photos of the animals. Thanks to him, we enjoyed every moment of the trip!

Incredible experience with excellent supports
We had a wonderful experience there. We could see Crossing and Big Five except Rhinoceros in 2 days. It was amazing!
Lian supported us from the planning to leaving Kenya. She also gave us her hands to get Visa. We could communicate with her during travelling and it made our journey comfortable. The guided driver was reliable and supported what we want. She and her team was excellent. We would highly recommend Arina Wild Adventures.

The most epic experience of a lifetime!
Jon was amazing, and planned a seamless tour through Uganda where we got chance to see lions, chimpanzees and gorillas - truly an experience I will never forget. Jon was more than accommodating, ensuring we were picked up on time and dropped off safely. If we ever had any issues with hotels, or needed anything additional; Jon was able to organise. For any foreigners visiting Uganda, it's truly the pearl of Africa and very safe. However, definitely be aware that you may get the odd stare from locals (curiousity more than anything!) - and so Jon could benefit from installing tinted windows or curtains in the van but this is more personal than anything. I would truly recommend Jon for a holiday of a lifetime.

Incredible Tour Guide for Tanzania Wildlife Experience.
We had the privilege of spending 9 days with Shafino on safari and had some of the best memories of our life because of him. His experience is unmatched in the Serengeti, he has been doing this for 26 years and it shows. He is incredibly knowledgeable and knows Tanzania extremely well. He has the eyes of a hawk and was able to spot animals from miles away. He is a great driver and was always making sure that we were taken care of. More than his knowledge and skills from years of experience, his heart for people and Tanzania set him apart from the rest. He is a good man who cares about family and cares about all people. He knows so many guides and people of Tanzania and you will get the privilege to see the impact he has made in people's lives. We consider him a friend and would recommend him to anyone coming to experience the beauty and special culture Tanzania has to offer.
