Excellent local operator with knowledgeable guides
Our safari guide Champion had great English, was very knowledgeable about all of the animals we saw, and was great at spotting and finding animals. Our vehicle never had any issues and the safari was reasonably priced.

Our tour guide was incredible
My friend and I struggled to figure out where and how we should book a safari. We landed here, and found Mateo.
We reached out for quotes which were promptly provided - and though we considered 2 other companies, the professionalism of the quotes and of Patrick stood out! We picked Mateo and we are so glad that we did :)
Everything was simple - we chose the quote we liked best and Patrick made everything easy to book. Then, we were picked up at the airport by Simon, our guide. He was so kind and helpful - knowledgeable, professional… I can’t say enough good things about these 2!
On the safari itself, we got to eat delicious food, see different parts of the country, and get close to tons of incredible animals. Simon did an awesome job finding the best spots and sharing information about the animals.
When we come back to Kenya, we will definitely use Mateo Travel and Adventure. Highly recommend :)

An unforgettable safari experience with THE BEST guide!
We had a great experience with Serengeti Smile and would definitely recommend them!! Their team communicates very well in English. As a local agency, their prices are very affordable, while the service and overall experience are still excellent.
A huge part of that was our guide, CHAMPION. He was incredibly entertaining and kept the energy up the whole time, which made the long drives feel so enjoyable. At the same time, he was extremely professional and clearly very experienced. His ability to spot animals from far away was seriously impressive — we saw so much because of him that we would have definitely missed on our own. Thanks to him we saw the BIG 5!!
He truly went beyond expectations. He handled all five of us by himself so smoothly, always making sure everyone was comfortable, engaged, and safe. The jeep was always well stocked with drinking water, and there was electricity available for charging our device. There was plenty of food during meal times and the lodgings are very clean.
Highly, highly recommended!

I would describe them as an exceptionally professional for unforgettable African adventure.
Our experience with Taste of Kilimanjaro Adventures was outstanding from start to finish. Communication was fast, clear, and very professional — every question we had before the trip was answered promptly and in detail, which gave us great confidence while planning.
During the tour, the organization was flawless. The team was always punctual, reliable, and genuinely caring. Our guide, Frank, was exceptional — knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and clearly passionate about wildlife and nature. He shared fascinating insights, spotted animals we would have never noticed ourselves, and made every day exciting and memorable. Thanks to him, we felt safe, comfortable, and very well looked after throughout the entire safari.
The service quality exceeded our expectations — from the accommodations to the vehicle and overall logistics — and the experience offered excellent value for money. Everything ran smoothly and exactly as promised.
We would highly recommend Taste of Kilimanjaro Adventures to anyone looking for an authentic, well-organized, and truly memorable African safari. We would definitely travel with them again!

Safari Beyond All Expectations
Our safari in Tanzania with Zara Tours turned out to be an exceptional experience from start to finish. When we landed, Shaban was already waiting at the airport and immediately made us feel welcomed and well cared for. Throughout the journey, his sharp eye and strong wildlife knowledge led to unforgettable sightings across Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater.
During the game drives, we encountered an impressive variety of animals, including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, and hyenas roaming the Serengeti plains. Spotting the rhinos in Ngorongoro was truly special and became one of the most memorable moments of the entire trip.
Before our arrival, Zayina played a key role in organizing all the details. Even with the added complexity of traveling during the pandemic, the planning process was smooth thanks to his clear communication and thorough guidance on Tanzania’s entry requirements.
The accommodations surpassed our expectations and were comfortable, well located, and consistently served excellent meals.
Overall, Zara Tours delivered a safari experience that went beyond what we had hoped for, and I would confidently recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania.

More Than Luxury, A Journey We Felt Deeply
It’s hard to put into words what this journey meant to us, but I’ll try.
This high-end flying safari with Makaro Travel wasn’t just a holiday. It felt like stepping into a different rhythm of life, one where time slows down and every moment feels full.
From the very beginning, flying between destinations changed everything. Instead of feeling tired from long drives, we felt light, curious, present. Looking down from the small planes, watching rivers curve through the land and endless plains stretch out below, I already felt grateful before the safari even began.
The Serengeti was overwhelming in the most beautiful way. Staying at Singita felt unreal, not because of luxury alone, but because of where it is. You wake up and the wild is right there. We were incredibly lucky to witness the migration. Seeing thousands of animals moving together, dust rising, predators watching, moments of pure tension and release, it was emotional. At times, none of us spoke. We just watched, trying to understand what we were witnessing.
Ngorongoro Crater touched us deeply. Descending into the crater early in the morning, with mist still hanging in the air, felt sacred. There was life everywhere. It felt powerful and fragile at the same time, like being allowed into a place that doesn’t belong to humans. That feeling stayed with us long after we left.
Tarangire was slower, quieter, grounding. The baobab trees, the elephants, the warm light in the afternoons, it made you breathe differently. Chem Chem Lodge was perfect for that feeling. Elegant, peaceful, and deeply connected to nature. Nights there were calm, reflective, and comforting.
Our guide, James, was a huge part of why this trip felt so personal. He never rushed us. He didn’t overtalk. He seemed to feel the bush rather than just explain it. He knew when to stop, when to wait, and when silence was more meaningful than words. Being guided by him felt safe and natural.
After the safari, flying to Zanzibar felt like being gently held after something intense. Zuri Zanzibar was pure calm. Five nights of ocean, soft light, slow mornings, and space to process everything we had experienced. We talked a lot there. About what we saw. About how small we felt. About how lucky we were.
And then, just when we thought our hearts were full, we flew again to Victoria Falls. Standing there, hearing the roar of the water, feeling the ground vibrate, it was emotional in a completely different way. Powerful, humbling, unforgettable. Ending the journey there felt right.
This wasn’t just luxury travel. It was thoughtful travel. Seamless, yes, but more importantly, meaningful. Makaro Travel created something that felt deeply human, not packaged, not rushed, not empty.
We came home changed in small ways. Quieter. More grateful. With memories that don’t feel like photos, but like feelings we can return to.
This journey will always be part of us.

A Honeymoon Written in the Wild
Our 13-day private luxury safari with Wivi Agency became a collection of moments that we still talk about late at night. It was our honeymoon, and instead of feeling like one long itinerary, it felt like many small, unforgettable stories stitched together. Everything was organized by Elias and his team, and that quiet organization allowed us to simply live each day as it came.
The first days in the Serengeti set the tone. On our very first morning, the rain had just stopped. The air was cool and fresh, and the plains were glowing green. We watched a group of giraffes walk slowly through the mist, completely silent, as if they knew it was too early for noise. It felt like the Serengeti was welcoming us gently.
One afternoon, while driving slowly along a muddy track, our guide Charles suddenly stopped the vehicle. We sat there for a long time, waiting. Then, out of nowhere, a cheetah appeared, stretching after the rain, shaking water from its fur. We didn’t take photos at first. We just watched. That moment felt personal, almost private.
Another day, we followed elephant tracks after a night of heavy rain. The ground was soft, and the landscape felt alive. Eventually we found a whole family near a river, the young ones playing in the water while the older elephants stood watch. Charles turned off the engine, and we stayed there longer than planned, because no one wanted to leave.
The rain became part of the story. Sometimes it came suddenly, sometimes softly. One evening, rain fell just as the sun was setting. The sky turned deep orange and purple, and we sat wrapped in blankets at our luxury tent, watching the sunset through falling rain. It was one of the most romantic moments of our honeymoon, quiet, simple, and deeply emotional.
Ngorongoro Crater felt completely different. Early in the morning, clouds hung low as we descended into the crater. At one point, the mist lifted and revealed a huge open space filled with animals everywhere. Zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, all moving at once. We barely spoke. It felt overwhelming in the best way, like standing inside a living painting.
There were small moments too. Drinking hot tea in the vehicle while rain tapped softly on the roof. Laughing together when the road got muddy and slippery. Falling asleep at night to the sound of rain on the canvas of our tent and waking up to birds and fresh air.
The vehicle itself was excellent, comfortable and reliable, even in the rain. Long drives never felt tiring. Charles drove with such calm confidence, and that made us feel safe and relaxed every day. He was never rushed, never pushy. He respected our space as a couple and somehow always knew when to talk and when to let the moment belong to us.
The luxury tented camps were beautiful and intimate. Each evening felt like a pause from the world. Soft lights, warm food, kind smiles, and wide open views. Watching sunsets together became our daily ritual, and each one felt different.
What made this safari special wasn’t just the wildlife or the comfort. It was the feeling of being completely present. Thirteen days gave us time to slow down, connect, and truly feel where we were. Elias and the Wivi Agency team made everything run so smoothly that we never once felt stress or pressure.
This wasn’t just our honeymoon. It was a journey filled with moments that felt real, raw, and emotional. We didn’t just visit the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We lived them.
And those moments will stay with us forever.
