Our driver, Peter Kapino, was simply amazing! He drove safely and smoothly, listened to everything we asked, and had full knowledge about all the animals, explaining everything clearly and understandably. He shared tons of advice from his experience about what to do, how long to spend, and what’s best. His care and attentiveness toward us was evident every moment, and he was just incredible. I highly recommend that anyone going on a safari have Peter Kapino as their driver!

Unforgettable
This was an unforgettable experience! I had an amazing experience with Patriot Tours and their team. This was a private 6 day safari around the Serengeti that included seeing the Great Migration and a hot air balloon ride. My guide, GoodLuck, did a wonderful job. He is very knowledgeable and made the safari journey so easy and enjoyable. I learned so much!
I enjoyed his company, his efficiency with everything, and teaching me about all of the wildlife and culture. He was also very professional, polite and attentive. He navigated the parks so well and made sure I did not miss seeing anything- I was even able to see the elusive black rhino, which are endangered. I felt safe and comfortable and was (literally) able to sit back and enjoy the experience without any worries or hassles.
I will definitely recommend GoodLuck and Patriot Tours so anyone I know coming to Tanzania!

The best choice to visit Ethiopia
We (me and my girlfriend) can only say that we had the best experience. Our expectations were surpassed. Our guide tours were taking care of us every minute, and so gentle all the time, they took care of every detail to make sure our experience was the best, and made us feel as a family. If you are coming to Ethiopia this is the best choice, you wont regret it.

The tour guide named Izack during the Safari tour is very good in finding the animals, we had the chance to see the Big 5's and the Ugly 5's and a lot more. We definitely recommend this operator to future travellers of Tanzania. Thank you for amazing time we had here in Tanzania.

Six friends from Bonn, one unforgettable adventure
Trekking Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route in 8 days was the toughest thing we have ever done, but also one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives.
This climb demands real endurance, mental strength, and expert support, and we could not have asked for a better crew. Under the leadership of our guide Lema, we felt safe, motivated, and incredibly well cared for every single day. The professionalism, skills, and genuine friendship of the entire team made all the difference. Their support carried us through the hardest moments.
The meals were excellent (far beyond what we expected on a mountain!), the equipment was great, and the organization was flawless. Along the way, we were constantly amazed by the changing scenery, from lush rainforest to alpine desert and the breathtaking views that never stopped inspiring us.
The summit was incredibly tough, but standing at the top made every step worth it. The sense of achievement is something we will carry forever. We also loved the camaraderie within our group, the Swahili songs on the trail, and learning so much about Tanzania, its culture, and its people.
Saying goodbye at the end was honestly the hardest part. What started as a trek ended as a shared journey and deep connection. Asante sana to Lema and the whole crew you made this adventure truly unforgettable. 💙

Best time
We booked a private 9-day safari for five people, which gave us a lot of flexibility and made the whole trip very comfortable. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and even though we saw other travelers having check-in issues with their safari companies, we never had a single problem.
The highlight of the trip was definitely our guide, Dickson. With 19 years of experience, his knowledge of wildlife and animal behavior was incredible. He always knew where to position the vehicle, even at busy sightings with lots of other cars around.
A guide really makes or breaks a safari, and Dickson made ours. Very professional and reliable company overall—we had an excellent experience.

Great communication with Danford and Victor was the most amazing guide
We want on a safari as a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Our trip started in Arusha where Danford had booked us into Planet Lodge which was a nice hotel with bungalow like rooms, which fitted us perfect as we could have connecting rooms.
Victor talked us through the safari the night before leaving, which was great as it gave us a view of what to expect. Although a safari is about a lot of unexpected experiences. Danford recommended us to go to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Ndutu and Central Serengeti and this was great advice. We got very different experiences each day. Victor was also quite fantastic, he saw things other guides didn't which as an example gave us a sighting of a baby leopard just next to our car. His knowledge was a big part of our total experience.
We did have a hickup with one of the tented camps but Danford swiftly helped with this. Other than that all was as described or better. we stayed in Ngorongoro Wild Camp, Safari Haven in Ndutu and Kontiki in Central Serengeti. In our view, the Kontiki was the nicest of these 3, and also where we got animals close to the tent. However, the food was best at Ngorongoro Wild Camp.
If we were to change anything at all, it would be to stay in Moshi the first night and Arusha second, instead of 2 nights in Arusha as we did now. we went on a coffee tour on the hills of Kilimanjaro our second day and it would have meant a few hours less in the car. But this is the only minor thing we would change. The coffee experience was also great, and we recommend taking the time for it.
We definitely recommend booking with Paws and Claws and if possible have Victor as a guide.
