Amazing safari in Tanzania
5/5

Hi all,

We organized a safari in Tanzania July 2013 with “I Dream of Africa” and it was amazing.
Christopher Samwel was our guide and driver and also he’s the owner of the company. We sorted all the details out by email before the trip, (Dates, accommodation, game-drives within a reasonable total price). He was very patient and helpful and of course he offered better price than many other agencies in Tanzania for the same itinerary.

We spent 6 nights between Taranguire, Serengueti and Ngorongoro National parks, and everything was perfect. Our trip was a private safari for two people in a Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 full equipped (open roof, radio and a small fridge to have cold water all the time).
We saw “The Big 5” and we have the opportunity to see the Lions hunting in Ngorongoro (awesome).

I have to say the global service was better than expected: everything on time, (no delays), no problems with the car, and no extra cost for anything during the whole trip. So the safari exceeded our expectations.
By the way, Christopher was been working as a safari guide/driver for more than 20 years, so he knows everything and everyone into the nationals parks. Actually he’s a bird-watcher and biologist expert, therefore he explained to us with a perfect English all about wildlife, eco-system and nature. It was an incredible experience.

Finally I’d recommend this company to everyone who wants to make any kind of safari in Kenya, Tanzania or Zanzibar. It is totally reliable and competent.
Thanks to “I Dream of Africa” and special thanks to Christopher to make for us an extraordinary and unrepeatable safari.

Amazing safari experience
5/5

I was part of a volunteer group that did both the Safari tour and Kilimanjaro climb. There are not enough positive words I can think of to describe the amazing, professional and personable experience I had with Warrior Expeditions. Pasa the founder is as authentic, genuine and caring as it gets. From start to finish, he creates the best itinerary to make sure you comfortably enjoy your time both in Tanzania and on your excursions.

Food was great, our tour guide even better and travel accommodations nothing less than stellar. Save yourself the time, energy and hassle and book a safari trip or Kili climb with Warrior Expeditions.

I am returning next June to have Warrior Expeditions arrange my Kili climb and I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I, did a safari, from August 25 to September 3 through the parks of Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was a wonderful experience, our guide Ibrahim was fantastic, the lodge beautiful, especially the Roika Lodge and Kati Kati Lodge, great food and a wonderful hospitality. About Roberto and Greyson both very kind.
Thanks for everything

Best of Botswana tour; Well organised, great guide, great place to visit.
5/5

Hello,

Emily and I are well seasoned travellers, although this is the first time for a Safari. We went on the 13 day best of Botswana tour which is a mid range lodge / big safari tent tour. We have been on a few organised tours in the past and can safely say that this tour compares favourably.
We booked very late and during the peak season due to my expat work commitments. One of the advertised hotels wasn't available but Mzanzi adventures were very flexible and gave us a number of different options to choose from as an alternative. Mzanzi were also flexible as we weren't charged for the first night in Johannesburg as we didn't need the accomodation.

Bongi, Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the local culture and animals. He had an amazing ability to read the bush on the game drives, we would have missed a lot without him. Bongi is clearly very experienced, he was very professional and attentive to our needs, he frequently checked to make sure everything was ok.
Our tour had far fewer people than the other groups, which meant that we often had the game vehicles to ourselves, the other groups were stuffed together like sardines. The tour vehicle that we had was very comfortable and I couldn't fault Bongi's driving. We were able to stop whenever we saw something that interested us. The accomodation was comfortable and clean (really lovely in Nata, Moremi and Chobe) and the food was very good, especially the Braai Brekkie in the Okovango delta.

We can honestly say that we have no regrets in booking with Mzanzi-Adventures, We think the tour offers good value.

Kind Regards

David and Emily Clifford

It exceeded our expectations. The service was far and away top class! They really pamper you!

The communication and service from Michelle Usher was amazing!! I work as a customer care agent for AA for 22yrs and when it comes to customer service I am very picky and Michelle Usher has grat customer service and communications skills. The #1 reason why I would book my next Africa vacation with Thorn Bush is because of her service. She went far and beyond to make sure everything went well with our arrival specially considering that our flight was delayed for a few hours.

I thought I knew Ruaha but... no...
5/5

Afriroots organised for us a camping safari in Ruaha, then a few days including walks in Eastern Usambara, in the Amani Reserve. I should first say, I knew both areas, or at least, I thought I knew them, having been there when I used to live in lovely Tanzania years back. Well... I had still a lot to discover, thanks to Afriroots. Faultess organisation and flexibility to accommodate our laziness at time, safe drivers also experienced in the areas we travelled in, wonderful 'camping with a difference' atmosphere in Ruaha, excellent and inventive cook (I'm a vegetarian), what else... I recommend Afriroots for all those who want to have this unique experience of a breakfast with a giraffe being interrupted by an elephant and Katuku, our driver, switching on the car engine to make sure that... we could continue to eat while watching whether really... the elephant was scarred enough for a little while. A GREAT TIME,

Hello,
I booked a budget safari and I was totally positively surprised by the offered accomodation. The price for the safari included more or less everything, so the company was very competitive. For me it was the best offered budget offer. Our driver Edmund was also very good.
Kind regards

More Than We Dreamed
5/5

Wonderful. We could stop there as that sums up our trip.

However, there is more to say. If you are considering going on a trip to Africa, we believe there's only one company to do it with. I Dream of Africa. From the very beginning, Christopher and I Dream of Africa, were very pleasant to work with. It was extremely easy to communicate via email with Christopher. There were sometimes, that it would take a day or two for him to respond, but that was because he was out on safari during those times. And when he would respond, it was very professional and courteous, but most importantly it was thorough and would address all of our concerns or provide adequate updates about our upcoming trip.

It's been 6 months since our trip and we still talk about the memories or look at pictures when we were with Christopher. I Dream of Africa planned every detail of the trip other than when how to get to Africa. From the moment we stepped out of the airport, our guide was there to greet us and begin our adventure. Our guide, Christopher is the owner of the company and takes pride in everything that he does. He goes above and beyond to make the trip full of memories and a pleasant experience. In our opinion, having a local guide and local company made the trip that much more. We would see other guides and tours along our journey, and you could tell their guide did not carry the same appreciation for the animals as Christopher. We were able to see the things that we wanted to see and things that we had no idea even existed, and Christopher would take the time to explain their habits, names and other things we did not know about the animals. We shared many laughs with Christopher as he would never cease to surprise us with finding something new and having the patience as we would sit and enjoy the beauty of Tanzania.

Tanzania was welcoming and wonderful from the very beginning. Every lodge that I Dream of Africa booked for us, was extremely friendly and hospitable. The culture never stopped welcoming us and we always felt safe, no matter where our adventure took us. We had to go into town a few times to stop at a pharmacy, and we when we could not find the needed medicine, Christopher knew where else to go. He knew every area that we went to and with such ease, that we felt not only safe, but glad to have him there to truly guide us.

Since returning home, we have already discussed taking a trip back to Tanzania during another season to see what else I Dream of Africa could show us! We have not made plans yet, but know that when we do, there is only one company we will be in contact with. We highly recommend I Dream of Africa and Christopher.
