The Safari Guide
Our guide Lawrence was exceptional, balancing professional skill with a deep respect for nature.
Expertise: Lawrence is a safe driver with a great vehicle. He had good knowledge about the wildlife and was eager to share his expertese with the whole group. We were able to experience the Big Five, but also a lot of other animals, all of which are interesting, from small birds, antilopes, giraffes, etc etc. He was able to explain the behaviors and the scenes playing out with the wildlife and other insights to what we were experiencing.
Responsive: Communication was easy, and the guide was highly attentive to our wishes throughout the tour. We have been to other safaris in the past and Lawrence really stands out in his personality and ability to communicate.
Ethical: Lawrence showed great respect for the animals, ensuring we observed them without causing disturbance.
Problem solving: During a trip like this things happen, both with us and others we meet. Lawrence showed excellent ability to adapt to the situations we met. At one time another car got stuck in the mud, Lawrence was quick to join the effort to help them out, which we appreciated, next time it could be us. This approach seem to give him a good network of other operators and staff, seems to know everyone we met along the trip.
We are very happy with the experience and the adventures, they will stay with us for our whole lives. We warmly recommend Gemfinders to anyone wanting a great experience and a solid booking and guiding experience.

Amazing Game drive in Masai Mara
The Safari was a great experience. The organization by Jocky Tours and the execution of the safari were excellent, we had a fantastic time! A very special thank you to our driver, Dickson. He drove us safely to the Masai Mara and back to Nairobi, explained us a lot during the safari and gave us plenty of time to take photos and videos.
I stayed at the Sopa Lodge and was very, very satisfied, a very nice lodge, with big rooms and a nice pool.

We had an excellent experience with The Shuttle Hospitality during our private five days trip in Uganda and can wholeheartedly recommend them.
From the very first contact with the owner of the company Bob the communication was clear, very fast, and professional - even of the short timing of the booking he made everything possible. Our itinerary of "only" five days was as we wished packed with different activities and different places. This help us to see even in a very short time a lot of Uganda and the beauty of it (nature, people/culture and wildlife).
The quality of the "on-ground" organization was also perfect. Transfers were always on time, the vehicle was comfortable and well maintained, and we always felt safe – even on long drives. Our guide Francis was not only very experienced and knowledgeable about the country, wildlife, and local culture, well connected to other people/guides but also genuinely friendly and attentive. He adapted the pace to our needs and made sure we felt comfortable at all times. He might be also one of the fasted drivers in Uganda (no reckless driving) which was the reason why we had the possability to do a lot of activities in a very short time.
Highlights like Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (gorilla trekking & batwa trail), Queen Elizabeth National Park (Safari & boat ride), Kibale Forest (chimpanzee trekking & community walk), and Lake Bunyonyi were seamlessly connected, without unnecessary repetition. During the two game drives helped Francis network and his knowledge of the places to see three times a leopard, (the treeclimbing) lion(s) and other wildlife. Accommodations were well chosen, clean, and beautifully/nearly located, often with great views.
We also appreciated how transparent and honest The Shuttle Hospitality was – no overpromising, no hidden costs, and realistic advice about what is worth doing and what isn’t. This made the entire trip feel very trustworthy and relaxed.
Overall, The Shuttle Hospitality delivered a highly professional yet personal travel experience, and we would not hesitate to book with them again or recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Uganda or the region.

beautiful trip
Our trip was wonderful. We stayed at the Tremisana Lodge, a clean and lovely place. But the real value of this place is the people, always smiling, in a family atmosphere. We even found a little gift at Christmas dinner.

This tour operator cannot be trusted!
I had travelled 6 times with Right Choice since 2021 and always had exceptional service. However, on our trip in November 2025, my companion was asked by the owner if she would pay for Amboseli park fees as he had been unwell and it was Sunday! As I trusted him completely, I assured her that he would pay her back the following day as he promised. This did not happen! No reimbursement has been forthcoming and my companion is owed the equivalent of £490. Also, we had paid for 3 internal flights but only 1 materialised. Two were "unavailable" so we had to travel by road. We are now owed refunds for the flights we didn't have but, unsurprisingly after our experience with the park fees, no money has been received and now our emails are being ignored. What shabby treatment of a loyal regular client by retaining a significant sum of money to which Right Choice's owner is not entitled.

Great Experience, helpful staff.
We booked our safari with wildplus escapade online and we're pleased to get a very prompt reply from Esther. She was very good at organizing the whole trip and tried her best to give us a great experience! Overall the safari experience was great we thoroughly enjoyed it and saw all we wanted to see including the big 5. We also stayed at Diani beach that Esther organized for us, beautiful beach holiday.

Professionalism and excellent value for money
We went on a safari day in Nyerere National Park. It was a great success thanks to our guide Martin and our driver who did everything to show us as much as possible. We were able to see many animals quite closely and safely. I highly recommend this organization.
