Excellent guide
Excellent tour guide!! Highly recommend to anyone traveling to Ethiopia to book some day tours with him. He is very knowledgeable with the history of Ethiopia and has a great rapport with the local museums and restaurants. When I return I'll definitely be booking a Lalibela tour.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience
Our guide, Gilbert, was absolutely amazing and truly made this safari unforgettable. He always managed to get us the best spots and seemed to know exactly where to be at the right time. Calm, knowledgeable, and always smiling, he is the definition of Hakuna Matata. Thanks to him, we saw an incredible variety of wildlife from giraffes and elephants to leopards, cheetahs and lions. I couldn’t recommend Gilbert and Ndutu Green explorers more highly. Thank you again for making this trip unforgettable!

Safe, speedy and convenient.
A really great way to get from Johannesburg to the lodges around Kruger National Park. Our driver, Theodore, was an excellent driver.

Theodore was an amazing operator
From start to finish I had great service. I booked with Precious and she was really amazing! Communication was active and she made me feel very comfortable. I was struggling to get a sales person to call me back from different shuttle services and she was the only one who responded. My operator to Leopard Sands and the one on my return , Theodore also really great! Will definitely use Safarilink again

Friendly communication, good organization and reliable implementation
We had a wonderful 8-day safari through the Samburu, Mt. Kenya, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, and Lake Naivasha National Parks. Everything was well-planned and reliably executed. All essentials were included. Communication with the driver/guide and last-minute adjustments to our requests were handled smoothly. Our driver, Lui, was discreet yet friendly, and he was able to explain many animals and their behavior. It was clear he had a great deal of experience, both in the sometimes chaotic traffic and driving in the national parks. The lodges we booked were good and reasonably priced. We received a warm welcome everywhere, and the service was excellent. We were very pleased that, at our request, the driver didn't leave the designated paths in the parks to get closer to the animals. This would be illegal and would stress the animals too much. Some drivers from other companies do this anyway, which we didn't like at all. Overall, we had a very eventful week with many impressive experiences. We highly recommend this tour operator.
Safari link
Our driver Tyani was excellent. Unfortunately due to a clerical error and miscommunication we were stuck in Hoedspruit for 1 hour waiting for passengers that never arrived. The black no afrika bus is very uncomfortable with tiny seats and leg room. The normal safari link shuttles are much better. Overall Safari link are good

Wildfinder Tours and Safaris will make your Safari dreams come true
Dear Wildfinder Team,
Thank you for the most unforgettable trip of my life.
It's incredible what you all made possible, and that my husband and I were able to see the Big Five on this trip.
It was especially important to me to see lots of elephants, and my husband really wanted to see lions.
Thanks to your intensive, patient, and professional advice, you put together a dream trip for us.
We can't thank you enough. Thank you to all your experts on the team! :)
To everyone still looking for the right tour operator – you've found it now: Wildfinder Tours & Safaris.
Before booking, we thought it would be enough to just quickly visit each national park.
We'd seen many similar trips online.
BUT: And for this, a huge thank you – because you yourselves go on safari with so much heart and passion, you know that taking your time is essential and makes all the difference.
And we felt that immediately on site – the first thing we learned was "pole pole" – which means slowly, slowly, and only with patience and time does nature reveal its incredible spectacles.
For example, we were in the Serengeti, and there was a sausage tree. Two lionesses were sitting in the tree, and when we arrived, two lion cubs had just run into the tall grass to hide.
The lionesses themselves remained in the tree.
Not even half an hour later – and up until that point, vehicles with other safari tourists had been arriving every 10 minutes or so – a herd of elephants appeared. With a tiny baby elephant. The elephants neither saw nor smelled the lions in the tree and stopped right under the tree to take a break and eat the fruit.
Since we planned plenty of time in the Serengeti and booked our overnight stays there, we could indulge in the luxury of staying with the animals as long as we wanted.
For me, Wildfinder is the right tour operator. Not only did we have the perfect trip with ample time for wildlife viewing, but the vehicle also made a difference. I hadn't realized this beforehand. You encounter many tour operators and groups along the way. Many have very small windows. Our vehicle had huge windows and a 360-degree view. We could slide the windows open and comfortably look out and take photos. Or we could open the sunroof and look out from the top. Some vehicles had such small windows that people had to stand sideways at the open window to take a photo.
My tip: Pay attention to the details when booking.
Another highlight for me was a leopard that had apparently killed a wild boar the night before. It was lying with its prey in a fallen tree, and we had a perfect view of everything. The leopard was quite sleepy and had a really swollen belly. Thanks to our excellent timing, we had as much time to observe as we wanted.
Cars kept arriving that only stayed for a few minutes, probably because they were sleeping outside the park and then had to leave. That's really sad, because that's what you're there for, to observe and watch the animals closely. Seeing a leopard so close, and with its prey in a tree, is not an everyday occurrence. Especially since it was a fallen tree, allowing us to see everything.
Take the time to book accommodations directly in the park – you'll be so grateful during your trip, because the most impressive experiences are the ones you can have with plenty of time. We could even hear the leopard breathing.
At one point in Tarangire, we stopped for a break under a tree right by the road and ate our packed lunches in the car.
In the distance, we could see a herd of elephants. Gradually, they came closer and closer, and after half an hour, they were standing right by the tree, gathering fruit from the ground and branches. Of course, we stayed until the elephants moved on. These are moments that no one can plan.
However, this was only possible because we weren't pressed for time and had planned enough nights in Tarangire and the Serengeti. And for anyone who absolutely wants to see rhinos, make sure you have time for Mkomazi and the Ngorongoro Crater.
Wildfinder is my highest recommendation. I've been looking forward to my next safari ever since we left.
Thank you to your wonderful team, your fantastic guides, and thank you to our guide, who was so great and accommodated all our wishes. Whether we wanted to leave particularly early or a day later, everything was always possible.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, and until the next adventure!
