Everything was perfect from start to finish!
My first ever safari trip was absolutely amazing!
A big thanks to John, the owner, who was always very responsive, patient, and helpful whenever I had any questions. Everything was well organised from the moment I landed at Kilimanjaro Airport, from airport transfers, accommodations, game drives, meals, and even my flight to Zanzibar. Every part of the trip was handled professionally by John and his team.
I spent 4 days on safari across 3 different national parks, including an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information about the animals with us throughout the game drives. One of the unexpected highlights was definitely the food during the game drives! A big thumbs up to the chef, Walter! The meals were delicious and honestly exceeded my expectations, especially considering we were dining in the middle of the wilderness.
As a solo female traveller, I did have some concerns before visiting Tanzania. However, John and his team made sure I was well taken care of throughout the entire trip. I always felt safe, comfortable, and well looked after, which I think is a huge plus, especially for solo female travellers.
In short, I would highly recommend Sercar Serengeti Wildlife Safari, especially if this is your first time visiting Tanzania.

From the first encounter, our knowledgeable guides, Dominic and Alfred, ensured the total success of our 12-member family trip. From the start, their extensive knowledge, friendliness, patience and humor made all the difference. They ensured we saw every one of the BIG FIVE close up, adjacent to our jeeps, in addition to all the other animals. As ex-South Africans, having been to other wildlife parks previously, the expertise of Dominic and Alfred was THE major reason why everyone found the tour so ENTHRALLING. Each day had different highlights, with interest and information about all the wildlife and the tribes. The well-planned itinerary with personal input, attention to every detail and daily contact with Karin of Tansafari Tours, ensured that every aspect of each day was exactly as had been anticipated.
There was absolutely nothing more that could been wished for or added, except for addition days. Every one of us returned from Serengeti and Ngorongoro entranced with the outstanding experience and the personal interaction of Dominic and Alfred with all of us - ranging in age from 9-85 years old. It was an unbelievable and unforgettable safari, better than we had even imagined. The combination of the wildlife and the tribes provided a comprehensive exposure to Tanzania. All of us appreciated the professional and friendly and enthusiastic care that Dominic and Alfred so naturally gave. We were sad to take leave of THE DYNAMIC DUO at the airport. A short, luxurious stay at prominent Zanzibar beach resort concluded this exceptional trip.

Magical experience in Tanzania with superb wildlife
We loved our safari trip in Tanzania as the wildlife was abundant and it truly felt that the animals were in absolute freedom, unlike other places we have visited like South Africa. There are no gates and no fences. We loved our 16 day trip to Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti, and finally Zanzibar. Our guide (and driver) Jonathan was excellent. We loved spending time with him and we got on really well. He knew every place so well, every road and every track and found excellent sights of wildfire for us, often by instinct, as he could anticipate well the animals' moves. He was very knowledgeable about the different species, so we learnt a lot and experienced magical moments. He really made the whole difference for us. Unfortunately though, I wish the agency had advised us better on our itinerary as we would have preferred to add North Serengeti to our programme and fly directly from there to Zanzibar. We didn't know this could be an option and that's a pity. Driving all the way back to Arusha and spend the night there in the hotel was unnecessary and didn't add anything to the trip. We very much enjoyed our day cycling and visiting plantations in Mto Wa Mbu but this could have been done on the way to Serengeti. In spite of this, communication was really good and easy with Emma prior to the trip. Overall, a wonderful experience.
