Perfect service and safari 👌🏼
When I started planning my first safari, I was overwhelmed with the options. I ended up checking gemfinders amongst others and they immediately stood out: very quick responders, very thoughtful and helpful. I had so many questions, needed a lot of advice in planning a proper safari adapted to my preferences and Mildred dealt with everything with a lot of patience, kindness and great advice.
We ended up creating a personalised plan and when the date approached they contacted me several times to remind me of the dates, the things I had to bring, time and place of meet up, etc. This, amongst the quick responses I always got, made me realise how reliable the company was.
The funny part is that the safari was WAY better than expected! The guide, Lawrence, was simply AMAZING. I am a big animal lover and read a lot about animals so had a lot of questions and needed a lot of information: he answered everything and knew a lot about each animal. He was very friendly and extremely punctual and reliable. He is a great driver too. He was making sure to adapt to our needs and provide the great safari we did. Honestly, it was perfect.
Also, the accommodation combined cultural experiences with resorts and amazing views.
I will recommend Lawrence and Gemfinders to anyone who wants to do a safari here. I am very pleased, lucky and how Lawrence says: blessed. We saw the big 5, the 9 strong, the 5 ugly ones and way more animals than I had imagined. Simply incredible. Lawrence promised the best safari and it was. THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE.

Fantastic tour operator, real people building tailor made experiences.
Everything about our Safari with African big cats was seamless from beginning to end. They helped build the perfect itinerary for our family, I never felt pressured to commit and was given lots of advice and time to research. Our guide, Samuel, was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and a fantastic driver who got us close to all the action. As a family with children he seemed to know how long to make game drives and when we were ready to relax at our lodge. The lodges selected for us were all fantastic and I cannot fault the food, facilities and most of all the friendliest staff! We truly had the trip of a lifetime that we’ll never forget.

Best experience
Lawrence is the best safari guide ever. He is devoted to make his guests have the best experience and make them happy. He has the desire to make every safari better than the last one (he got it). Funny, well-knowledged, kind, adorable and a lovely person. He made me feel confortable with him around.
His love for animals, environment and his culture has no limits (as his knowledge).
Definetly no animal can escape his binocular eyesight (he sees everything!!).
I was so blessed to have him, not just as the tour guide, also as a friend. 10/10 Thank you!

Our experience was wonderful. The tour was very well prepared and the attention and information were good. Cibril and Mildred worked very much and had patience to prepare an amazing tour to our family. Thank you. Our guide, Lawrence, is a wonderful guide and person. He has done that our stay during the tour was comfortable and his knowledge and explanations about the animals were extraordinary and very imteresting. An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Guide Luckyano – Lyons King
We recently completed an incredible safari across Tanzania with Lyons King, and none of it would have been possible without our exceptional guide, Luckyano (Lucky). From the moment we set off through Tarangire, the Serengeti (both central and northern areas), Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, Lucky's expertise was evident at every turn.
His knowledge of the parks, wildlife behavior, and terrain was outstanding. He always seemed to know exactly where to go and when, which is why we were fortunate enough to spot all of the Big Five during our trip. Beyond that, he made sure we witnessed truly unforgettable moments, including the wildebeest crossing the Mara River — a scene we'll never forget.
What made the experience even more special was Lucky's warmth and genuine enthusiasm. He was patient, friendly, and always went the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable and had the best possible sightings, never rushing us and always sharing fascinating insights about the ecosystem and animals we encountered.
Thanks to his dedication and effort, this safari became one of the best experiences of our lives. We cannot recommend Lucky highly enough, and we'll be telling all our friends and family to request him by name if they ever plan a safari in Tanzania. Thank you, Lucky, for such an incredible journey!

The most unforgettable family trip we have ever experienced
Our safari with Tanzania Safari Deluxe Tours was truly an unforgettable experience and without a doubt one of the most beautiful trips we have ever taken as a family. Everything was perfectly organized from beginning to end, and somehow every day managed to be even better than the one before.
We saw everything we could have dreamed of and more. The landscapes were incredible, and we were lucky enough to see every animal we had hoped for. It honestly exceeded all of our expectations.
A huge part of what made the trip so special was our driver and guide, MJ. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and simply a wonderful person to spend so many days with. We could talk to him about anything, and he seemed to know something about every animal, place and situation we encountered. What we especially appreciated was how respectful he was towards the animals and nature. He never drove unnecessarily close or disturbed the animals just to get a better view, yet he always managed to position us perfectly so that we could see and experience everything.
The accommodation throughout the trip was also excellent, and the food was great. I am vegetarian and was really happy that there were always good vegetarian options available.
From the organization and accommodation to the wildlife experiences and especially our time with MJ, we genuinely could not have wished for a better safari. It was an incredibly special experience for our whole family and a trip we will remember for the rest of our lives. We would recommend Tanzania Safari Deluxe Tours without hesitation.

We have just got back from our Safari with Raja Tours and it was such a wonderful, memorable and fun experience. We would highly recommend this company. We started in Kenya with our guide Robert showing us the Masai Mara. Robert was so warm and kind and easy to get along with. He was also so knowledgeable both in terms of animals and where best to go for sightings. Then we went across to Tanzania. Our guide here was Ramaa and he was also so lovely, friendly and very knowledgeable too. Both listened to us and tailored our drives to what we actually wanted to see and we saw everything by the end! We feel that they both made the trip even more special and we thoroughly enjoyed every day of our Safari. Both guides also gave us some excellent recommendations for activities. The communication was always good. We loved all of the different places we stayed too. The sites, service, location, food etc were all great. If we ever go back we will be booking with Raja Tours again! And recommending to family and friends!
