Emile was the best tour guide!
I did an eight day safari with Lion Safaris, including seeing chimpanzees, a gorilla trek and safari. Emile was a great tour guide and great company throughout the time together as we covered all corners of Rwanda. He was very patient, professional and knowledgeable. I learned an incredible amount about a diverse, beautiful and resilient country thanks to him. I hope to return again someday.

You can organize tailor made trips for very small groups at a competitive prize. I communicated with them (Francesca!) by mail and whatsapp (more immediate) until we defined the desired tour and then still by whatsapp during the tour. They supply a link with details of the tour and then you can also use the app TravelKey during the trip to revise day by day. We were last year in Malawi with them (warmly recommended!) and this year in Zambia and Botswama. No problems, delays, everything went very well. Great game drives, beautiful lodges, punctual transfers.... I would for sure organize with them also another trip to Africa!

Great safari team and awesome lodge!
Joined a 5 day group tour with Suricata Safaris and it exceeded expectations. Jeremy is a top guide who truly knows his stuff when it comes to wildlife tracking. Suricata Boma Lodge was super welcoming with great food and cozy rooms. Everything ran like clockwork!

Competent and involved tour operator
Makasa is a small company that has a lot of passion for Tanzania. They do their very best to make a memorable experience for you. They arranged very nice locations and the drivers were very friendly and capable. Thanks to the drivers we were able to see so many wildlife. The communication with Makasa was excellent. They helped us with everything we needed.

Brilliant organisation from start to finish
In 2025 we made contact with Martin at Kingfisher safaris expressing our interest in booking a mobile safari in Botswana followed by a couple of nights in Victoria falls. Martin provided us with a 9 night mobile safari itinerary and organised every aspect of the holiday including transfers, a trip to elephants haven in Maun and our accommodation in Maun before the safari and in Victoria falls at the end. Dealing with Martin was incredibly easy and he was always available to answer any questions we had. Prior to the trip our itinerary was changed slightly due to the localised flooding that has occurred in areas of Botswana and he put our minds at ease immediately regarding the two new camping locations. He stayed in contact through WhatsApp during our trip and when we arrived in Maun he perfectly executed a change to our elephants haven trip to make sure we got to experience it that afternoon as our Mack air bush flight for the following day had changed time which meant we wouldn’t have been able to visit. The mobile safari itself was incredible, Pilot and his team were first class and made sure we were well looked after throughout our trip. Our game sightings in all areas were incredible and Pilot was a wealth of knowledge and truly dedicated to making sure we could see as much as possible. We were able to see wild dogs in all three locations including pups at a den which was a personal highlight. Leopard was also on the agenda and we were lucky enough to see them twice in Savuti thanks to pilots dedication and constant radio contact with other guides. The Sahara tent was extremely comfortable, the food, drinks and camps were all fantastic. Our transfers to Victoria falls all went smoothly and our stay at Bayete lodge was lovely and they were very welcoming. We are already planning our next mobile safari and wouldn’t hesitate to use Kingisher safaris and Pilots mobile safaris again and highly recommend them, they really do go the extra mile to make sure their guests have the trip of a lifetime.

An unforgettable experience—a truly memorable day! Thanks to our friends Merice, Loshuku, and Saloniki—extraordinary, kind, professional, incredibly friendly, and always-smiling people who took such great care of us (truly the best team imaginable)—we had the chance to go on an incredible safari in a wonderful atmosphere. We had so much fun with them, and thanks to them, we saw everything. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay and safari were perfect. Merice handled all the logistics and maintained constant communication, ensuring we lacked nothing and that all our expectations were met—it was a bespoke, impeccable, 5-star service! Our eagle-eyed driver—who could spot, sense, and track animals so nothing escaped his notice—helped us quickly find and see all the wildlife. He was an all-terrain expert who created an amazing vibe and made us laugh constantly (we nicknamed him "Speedman," "Crazyman," and "MacGyver" because he could handle any terrain). The icing on the cake was his skill in positioning the vehicle to get the best viewing angles and the closest possible proximity to the animals, allowing us to capture the most beautiful photos and create lasting memories. Not to mention our adorable guide—a lovely person with a beautiful soul and incredible kindness! He is a walking encyclopedia who taught us so much about every animal species and bird we encountered—their lifestyles, reproduction, temperaments, and unique traits (there were even fish!). He answered all our questions and more; we learned a huge amount from him and left with our minds full of new knowledge. He taught us words in the local language, guided us, and ensured we were comfortable and lacked nothing throughout the safari. To top off the day, a visit to a Maasai village proved to be highly educational and interesting, giving us great insight into the local culture and way of life. The entire safari team was kind, gracious, incredibly welcoming, and professional. A huge thank you to Merice, Loshuku, and Saloniki; it was a magnificent day and a fantastic experience. My husband and I will always hold you close to our hearts. We leave this safari filled with wonder and deep satisfaction—with memories, laughter, and unique moments of camaraderie. Above all, we leave much happier for having met you; you not only allowed us to discover the beauty and magic of nature and wildlife but also ensured we had an invaluable human experience. Thank you.
