We had a truly memorable trip with Safari Soles and couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our first safari in Kenya.
Ruth helped us plan our safari in Kenya, and she was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the entire process. She answered all of our questions, gave thoughtful suggestions, and worked with us to design an itinerary that felt perfect for what we wanted to see and experience.
Our guide, Sam, was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable, passionate about wildlife, fun to spend time with, and clearly loves what he does. We saw an incredible variety of animals, including all of the Big Five. What really stood out was Sam’s ability to read animal behavior and anticipate what they might do next. He was often thinking ahead and positioning us in a great spot for the next movement or sighting. He also shared a lot of interesting fun facts about the animals that made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, we had an amazing first safari experience and would highly recommend both Ruth and Sam to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

Unforgettable experience
We had a great safari experience in Kenya. Everything was well organized and on time. Our driver Julius was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. He really went the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience possible. Also cares about the wellbeing of the animals which was very important to us. 4 days Masai Maara+Nakuru Lake
We did a mid budget 4 days between Masai Maara and Nakuru Lake spending the first 2 nights at Wild Nest Camp (very nice tent with all the needed accessories) and then the last night at Buraha Zenoni Resort.
The trip was very well organised and highly recommended if you’re landing in Nairobi.
Our guide Hassan was very precise and he guided us to see all the big 5 and many more animals.

Thanks to AC and our guide Paul — overall, the trip was really nice.
The people we coordinated with at AC were Carl and Lari, and they were very quick to reply. We communicated entirely through WeChat, which was friendly for someone like me who isn't good at English.
After the itinerary was confirmed, we wanted to add one more day. They also promptly helped check room availability to see if it was possible.
There were no issues with the hotel bookings — we stayed at all the hotels as agreed. Since we stayed 2 nights in Nairobi, they also arranged airport drop-off.
I especially want to praise our guide Paul. Before coming, I was a bit worried, but after meeting him, I felt very reassured — he's very friendly.
When it comes to finding animals, he has over ten years of guide experience and is a guide directly signed by AC. We completed the Big Five in the Masai Mara and saw the rare black rhino in Nakuru. For every new animal, he would give us a knowledge briefing, and later he would even quiz us 😊.
He would do his best to get us good positions, and some of the spots were quite unique, allowing us to see different and more complete perspectives.
Whenever he heard location information over the radio, he would immediately set off to take us to see it.
Paul was very punctual — he was never late even once, and he would arrive nearly half an hour early to wait for us at our agreed time.
During the trip, if we had other ideas — for example, in Amboseli, if we wanted to visit other hotels or rest in a café — he would try his best to arrange it for us.
He would also remind us to set off in time so we wouldn't miss seeing animals because it was too late.
He has a fairly extroverted personality, but when it was time to rest, he would also stay quiet and not disturb us.
Because the four of us in the car all knew each other, the experience was better than joining a group tour.

Made all dreams come true !
We wanted to travel to both Kenya and Tanzania but didn’t want to have two points of contact, Arzoni were the perfect choice as they cover both countries. Our tour planner Teddy was fabulous, he was very responsive for all the requests and made a perfect plan and offer. Our tour guide Giddy and Joseph have the eagle eyes and helped us spotted the entire “Lion King casting crew” . Lion after hunting, giraffe fighting, elephant showering, wildebeest crossing Mara river etc. Would recommend them highly for anyone who wants to do the same safari journey ;)

Trekking to see gorillas in Uganda has been a dream for 30 years!
There are very few times that we have been so overwhelmed by landscape, animals, people and all presented by the world class guide and driver Mike!
The whole experience from getting in contact with Bugoli Adventures Uganda Ltd until drop off after the safari has been seamless. Their prompt and very friendly reply to every message or email gave us a very reassuring feeling right from the beginning. They were very communicative and informative around all aspects of the coming trip to Rwanda and Uganda. The packing list of essential gear was a life saver!
We were picked up as agreed at our hotel in Kigali by the driver/guide Mike. During the entire experience Mike was so knowledgeable, calm, happy, confident and social. We would not have had anyone else! He took so good care of us, helping us out and going that extra mile every day. We became “one big happy family” from start! Sharing all meals together and chatting and experiencing all events together really bound us for life.
The itinerary and lodging every day and night was very well organized. The highlights were of course the last day Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi where we met the Mubale family with its two-week-old newborn baby gorilla. Such a memorable and touching moment! But we had several memorable highlights every day during the safaris in Queen Elisabeths National Park and Ishasha, by boat on the Kazinga Channel, Chimpanzee Trekking in Kalinzu Forest and the tranquil last evening on an island in Lake Bunyonyi.
We discovered and saw so many different animals and birds, stumbling upon elephants in the Engiri Game Lodge knocking on the kitchen door! And in between all the incredible people that we met on the way, all the happy children waving and cheering on us! The roads, well, what can we say…. African massage has a completely new meaning!
Observations from us:
There were so many friendly and happy children reaching out and being super friendly during the entire trip. But a lot of them were playing football with no proper ball, they were selling hand-made drawings on cardboard paper and notebook paper. If we had known this before we would have brought a few footballs, some old football shoes and colored pens and paper. So, for you it would be a good idea to inform future clients that if they have space, bring those kinds of things. Also, you cannot have too many small bills, especially a huge amount of one-dollar bills. Dollars work very well if you do not want to exchange your money for local currency.
We are so overly grateful and happy about Bugoli and getting Mike as guide! This has been one of the most memorable trips in our lives!
