Amazing
African safaris had always been on our travel list, but we were unsure it would be worth the cost. We were wrong! Our only regret is not going on safari earlier.
We chose Jocky tours and safaris because they were highly recommended by friends of ours including incredible reviews on safaribookings and google, they were also so flexible in designing our itinerary. We wanted to spend a few days in Kenya, to see Masai Mara. Jocky tours and safaris and in specific Moureen was able to make our nice itinerary.. Our guide Francis Faru was wonderful, especially when we wanted alot to be done on the 1st day .
As for our accommodations, each of us had our own vision of how each day would end. Would it be: a refreshing dip in the pool? A cool drink and a good meal? A campfire with other travelers? Jocky made sure we would all be happy. And we were. Our accommodations were mostly tented camps, luxurious and comfy.
But as anyone could guess, the game drives were the real main features. Watching the animals living their daily lives in their own natural world was incredible. We witnessed giraffes snacking on high tree limbs, families of elephants strolling along with babies at their side, prides of lions lounging in the tall grass, gazelles frolicking, cheetahs stalking, And I cannot forget to mention all the other animals: hippos, alligators, cape buffalo, zebras, baboons, hyenas, warthogs, and thousands of birds. We saw them all and more. And all of it was amid the great green expanse of open plains and savannahs (it was May ). Truly magical!
It was all made possible by Moureen from Jocky tours and our fantastic, brilliant guide Francis . I cannot say enough about Francis . His knowledge of Kenya 🇰🇪 , of the animals and their habits is unbelievable, not to mention the delicious picnics he brought and his ability to know the perfect place to park the Land Rover for a great photo. Between the five of us, we have over 5,000 photos – after we deleted the duplicates and fuzzy ones. Francis had a knack of making every game drive into a new day of discovery and insight into the natural world of Kenya
As for tips for travelers to Kenya , we came prepared for mosquitoes, cold nights and hot days. However, perhaps because it was May , we experienced no mosquitoes, warm days (ok, hot in the direct sun) and pleasant evenings. We did use our warm clothes in the evenings at the Masai Mara , which was nippy due to the altitude. So, my best and only real tip is to let Jocky tours do your planning and let their guides take care of the rest…
We say a big thank you to Jocky tours , we say a big thank you to Moureen our planner and a big thank you to our big master Francis . We shall come back

Jocky tours and Faru is the best guide
An Unforgettable Journey: A 5-Star Safari Experience with our tour operator JOCKY TOURS AND SAFARIS
Our recent safari was, without a doubt, a trip of a lifetime, and it's all thanks to the incredible team who offered authentically a "FULL PACKAGE ADVENTURE" and especially our guide, FRANCIS FARU. From the moment He picked us up at the airport, the deep briefing he did about how the safari would be like in the 7 days and the way we started the tour, every detail was meticulously handled, and every expectation was not just met, but exceeded. This tour deserves every one of its five stars.
The lodges were very good, especially the ashnil mara camp , The logistics were flawless, and the entire trip well organized, allowing us to enjoy the adventure.
I would like to highlight overall however, the experience with our guide Francis
Francis didn't just drive us around; he is an educator, a storyteller, a singer ( taught us so many songs) and a master tracker all whilst driving. He has an unbelievable ability to spot animals that we would have certainly missed, from rhinos in a ditch surrounded with long grass to a lion hundreds of meters away.
Francis keen eye and deep understanding of animal behavior led us to incredible sightings.
He was patient, answering our endless questions with a smile, and he always made sure we were in the perfect position for good photos since we were photographers. His
genuine love for the wildlife and dedication to our experience was evident in every single game drive.
If you're looking for an unforgettable safari adventure, I cannot recommend this tour and specifically our guide, Francis highly enough. He is a true professional and a fantastic person who will make your journey into the wild a truly magical and memorable one. And for Moureen and the entire Jocky fraternity, keep up the good work… kudos

Amazing memories were really made!
Everything was well planned! We didnt have to worry about anything! Our guide James was amazing, his driving and animals spotting skills were on point! He really tried his best (and succeeded) to help us see every animal we wanted to see while respecting them. It was an amazing experience for us.

Amazing Safari experience
An absolute stunning life experience Everything was perfectly organised, from the incredibly comfortable lodges to the delicious food. A massive shout out to our guide, Dickson, with eagle eyes spotted animals we would have completely missed, and his deep knowledge of the bush made every single game drive educational and thrilling. Highly recommend this exact circuit for anyone looking to experience the magic of Tanzania.
Arusha: a special thanks to Eric from whom we learn about the local culture before heading into the bush with Dickson
Tarangire National Park:
Kicked off our safaris with towering baobab trees and breathtaking numbers of elephants. Watching the giraffes up close was magical and Maasai village visit offered a deeply memorable window into traditional pastoralist culture and community life before, heading out into the wilderness again.
The Serengeti:
Pure magic. The sheer scale of the endless plains is mind-blowing. We witnessed the Lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas and more and got so close to the wildlife it felt like we could touch them.
Ngorongoro Crater: Descending into the crater was like entering a lost world. The landscape is stunning, and the density of animals is unlike anywhere else on earth.
Our safari reconnected us with raw nature and left us with an unforgettable awe for the wild.
