Excellent safari experience with thoughtful service for solo travellers
I had an amazing experience with Pallid Safaris from the very beginning until the end of my trip.
One of the main reasons I chose them initially was because of how transparent and detailed their quotation was. Everything was clearly broken down, and they even provided multiple accommodation options ranging from mid-range to luxury with the corresponding prices, which made it very easy for me to choose based on my comfort and budget.
Carolyn, the tour consultant, was also incredibly patient and accommodating with my requests and itinerary adjustments before the trip. Communication throughout the planning process was smooth and reassuring, especially as a solo traveller visiting Kenya for the first time.
During the safari itself, the service exceeded my expectations. Carolyn even arranged a surprise birthday cake and an upgrade at my camp in Maasai Mara, which genuinely touched me.
My driver and guide, Lee, was fantastic throughout the trip. He is very knowledgeable about the wildlife and shared many interesting and fun facts about the animals and their behaviour during our game drives. He is also a very skilled and careful driver, which made me feel safe and comfortable the entire time, even on the long drives and rough safari roads.
What I appreciated most was how comfortable and at ease they made me feel as a solo traveller. On my last day, Carolyn & Lee even helped bring me to a local supermarket so I could buy some Kenyan-made items and souvenirs to bring home, which I really appreciated.
Overall, I had a wonderful safari experience and would definitely recommend Pallid Safaris to anyone planning a trip to Kenya, especially solo travellers looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and well-organised safari company.

Shout out to Edward and the whole team for giving us the best safari experience we could have asked for! Edward was an incredible guide—knowledgeable, patient, genuinely kind, and always happy to answer our questions. His ability to read animal behavior and spot wildlife from unbelievably far away is amazing. he definitely has eagle eyes! One of our most unforgettable moments was when he spotted cheetahs before any other vehicles, giving us the chance to enjoy the sighting peacefully before the crowds arrived. He also went above and beyond with the little details, cleaning the safari vehicle every day so each morning felt like a fresh start. You can tell he truly loves what he does and enjoys sharing his knowledge. A big thank you to Silas as well, who was so kind, patient, and incredibly helpful—especially when we made changes after confirmation, he was quick to help and kept everything running smoothly. A perfect itinerary with excellent value for money. I highly recommend visiting the Serengeti in May and experiencing a safari. It's truly unique in the world. The wildlife is unforgettable.
