Well organized and flexible with itinerary to suit tourists
4/5

Very well organized. All bookings were done on time and with the customer requirements considered
Timing was good for each daily start of safaris as we were well rested after previous day
Excellent accommodation to start the tour at Sharuu Residency at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro
More attention needs to be paid to safety while driving especially through roads such as mountain passes (e.g. Ngorongoro)
Hot water unavailability at some of the lodges was a concern. To be checked with providers

We won the safari lottery
5/5

We had an amazing time on our safari with African Serengeti tours having Peter, as our guide, and Pastory, capturing unforgettable moments. We experienced very prompt and clear communication whilst organising this experience, especially when doing this all the way from New Zealand.

Peter made sure we were comfortable at all times, well educated and got everything we wanted out of our trip.

I can’t recommend this experience enough, truly exceptional.

A very efficient, friendly, comfortable and perfect journey
5/5

The four of us went to the African-Kantan Ring Road for 10 days this time. For some reason, it was a temporary idea, so the plane took off on the 11th and did not start looking for a group on safari booking until the 4th.

Because of the tight time, the Splendid Vacation we were looking for replied to me by email soon after my consultation. I added their WeChat at 4 o'clock local time in Kenya, and they gave me a very detailed and exquisite quotation at 9 local time in Kenya. It's so fast that I'm very shocked.

Our trip went well. The hotels were also clean, beautiful and comfortable. The speed of booking hotels by the ground pick-up agency was also very fast. Later, they upgraded our accommodation. I am very grateful to them. These hotels are so beautiful that I have found a sense of leisure.

In addition, the guide Gabriel is very friendly, patient and has good eyesight. The second guide, Jackson, is a guide with about ten years of experience. He is very careful about finding animals. He communicated with us very smoothly and friendly, and also took us to find two leopards who only sleep in trees. They gave me a very Perfect experience.

In general, I am very grateful to the Splendid Vacation. On the one hand, their quotation is very fast, the hotel they stay in is also very good, and the proportion of deposit payment has also been reduced a lot. We use WeChat to communicate, which is very efficient.

Beautiful safari
5/5

An amazing safari, organized down to the smallest detail. We saw so many animals and stayed in beautiful places. Our guide, Steve, was wonderful and incredibly kind—he explained everything so well and showed us so many things. He was truly fantastic.

Michael was fun, knowledgeable and showed us ALL the animals!
5/5

We learned about Kenya and some of its history, and Michael was also able to share great information about the animals as he drove us around the park. We laughed a lot (especially at the opportunistic baboons who pulled off a heist), and got up close to so many animals. The zebras were my personal favorite!

Outstanding Service from Start to Finish – Highly Recommended
5/5

My partner and I traveled from Kigali to Bwindi Forest for a gorilla trek with Richard from Zamunda Travels, and the experience exceeded every expectation. From our very first communication, Richard was professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took care of every detail of the trip — visa guidance, border crossing logistics, park permits, accommodation, transportation, and even making sure we received our gorilla trekking certificates. Having someone so organized meant we could simply enjoy the experience without worrying about logistics.
Richard was punctual, friendly, flexible, and accommodating throughout. He's an excellent driver, which made the journey comfortable and stress-free, and he shared fascinating insights about Rwanda, Uganda, local culture, wildlife, and the surrounding areas along the way. His passion for what he does really shines through. The gorilla trek itself was unforgettable, and Richard played a huge role in making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. More than just a guide, he was wonderful company throughout the journey. Whenever friends or family visit me in Rwanda, Richard will be the first person I recommend. If you're considering a gorilla trekking adventure or any tour in the region, I cannot recommend Zamunda Travels and Richard highly enough — exceptional service, outstanding value, and a truly memorable experience.

Extremely efficient, responsive and professional.
5/5

Visited Nyungwe and Volcanoes National Parks in Rwanda with three grandchildren. An exhilarating and wonderful wildlife experience. M.Taufique was our guide who contributed substantially to the fun and excitement of the trip. The quality of the lodges was “top drawer”. The quality of the safari company could not be improved upon. Memorable.

Kojuu Safaris
4/5

I chose Kojuu from 19 tour operators that I had contacted. What drew me to this tour operator is their transparency in what they offer in their quotes, particularly the unlimited mileage. This is something tour operators won't normally disclose. They are also TATO member.

But most notable is Edson / Edison, the tour consultant assigned to us. He really went above and beyond in curating a very customized itinerary for me. Always available for questions and communications. He wrote the quote perfectly well according to specifics I told him, unlike the tour consultants from other tour operators. He was hands on before, during and after our trip.

Our guide was topnotch. He was with us for 7 days, the first day being transfer from JRO to Karatu and the last day being transfer from Serengeti to Arusha. We had 1 full day in Ngorongoro, 3 full days in Serengeti and 1 day transfer from Karatu to Serengeti.

I can really tell he is an outstanding driver. For 2 out of our 3 full days in Serengeti, we went to Western Serengeti (reaching Kirawira airstrip) in search of Great Migration and Grumeti River crossing and South Eastern plains of Serengeti in search of cheetahs, returning daily to our base accommodation in Togoro plains which is really far from these areas.

There are just some things that I wish that could have happened for us:

1. We really wanted sunrise game drives in Serengeti (i.e. leave the accommodation at 6am, bringing breakfast boxes), but it was never granted. One time, I have to negotiate to make the starting time 7am as the guide proposed 8am. It felt like we were not asked what time we start the day, but just more of we should just follow. I needed to be assertive to get what we want.

2. It sometimes felt like our requests as to where we want to go were not heeded well. E.g. I asked that we go to central plains for 1 of the full game drives but we were diverted to hippo pools in Seronera valley. Again, I needed to assert so that we go directly to the plains instead of making some detours as time is limited and the plains are far away.

3. Because of number 1 above, we never had game drives that lasted 12 hours. We are not demanding that all 3 full day drives went 12 hours, but we're hoping at least 1 of them would have been like this.

4. The WiFi is not consistent. I can tell the data plan for us is not for the full 7 days as our e-Sim worked but the WiFi did not, in areas that we expect it would, e.g. Seronera hub. Note: WiFi is part of the inclusion.

5. There were some inclusions that were not included. E.g. coffee, tea and wine. These inclusions were part of deciding factor in booking Kojuu over others. These not being included kinda felt cutting corners which I feel it should not have as Kojuu's pricing is above the mean/average quotes from 19 tour operators.

Having all things considered, I am still glad I booked Kojuu. Edson's dedication, the guide's competence and the promise of unlimited mileage were still worth it.

UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES
5/5

I had an amazing 4-day safari with African Flowers Adventures together with my mother. Winnie arranged everything perfectly from start to finish, making the trip completely stress-free. Our chef, Calvin, was wonderful, and the food was delicious throughout the tour. We also really enjoyed our guide, who was knowledgeable, professional, and helped us spot all of the Big Five! African Flowers Adventures created an unforgettable experience for us, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a memorable safari in Tanzania.

Amos, our driver for the 4 days was amazing and went out of his way to get us to all the animals.
5/5

Axis safaris was great with organizing everything. I started worried about the planning and the cost of the trip but Axis made everything super easy. They are the most cost efficient as well and taking those savings, I suggest a C or D package to masai mara and lake nakuru. I would skip lake naivasha if possible. If you are short on time then do masai mara for the 2 nights. Everything in the tour is covered so there are minimal expenses.
