Simply a really positive experience!
5/5

We’ve just completed an incredible safari - 2 nights in the Maasai Mara and 1 night at Lake Nakuru - and it has genuinely been one of the most unforgettable experiences. The execution on the ground was flawless.

We managed to see 4 of the Big 5 across our time in both parks, with fingers crossed for rhino on our final day at Nakuru! The variety of wildlife we encountered was breathtaking.

Our guide, Peter Ngigi, was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm made every game drive a joy. I’d highly recommend Axis Africa Safaris to anyone looking to experience Kenya’s incredible wildlife.

Lawrence was lovely, informative, educational, friendly and funny!
5/5

The Serengeti is amazing, your mind can't comprehend how big it is. The people were lovely, the food that we had was more staple food. But me and my friends are vegan, so we do not eat meat of dairy, however they gave us 3 meals a day with limited variety but I was full everyday. Most places only take cash. Staying in a tent can be cold and wet during the night depending on the time of year. Zebras and buffalos were around the tents too which was amazing, they are both shy animals so they walk away from you. Great experience!! I would do it again 100 percent!

Serengeti Clarity created the perfect safari seamless planning, amazing guides and memories for life
5/5

Every member of the Serengeti Clarity team was kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our trip unforgettable. From our very first interactions, to Ebenezer picking us up from the airport, to Christina planning every detail of our itinerary, to the team welcoming us with cake, champagne, and singing—we felt so cared for every step of the way. We could not have asked for a better guide than Daniel. He went above and beyond to ensure we saw everything we hoped to see and more. He constantly communicated with other guides to stay informed about animal sightings and worked tirelessly to get us into the best viewing positions. Thanks to him, we had countless incredible wildlife encounters and got amazingly close to so many animals. Throughout the entire trip, he made us feel safe, comfortable, and completely taken care of. Whether he was navigating challenging roads, arranging lunch, sharing his knowledge of Tanzania, or simply making sure we had everything we needed, Daniel exceeded every expectation. The quality of the safari vehicle was outstanding compared to many others we saw in the Serengeti. We frequently found ourselves with the best views of the animals, and it became a running joke that people at camps and lunch sites couldn’t believe how many animals we had already seen each day. We also added the Zanzibar extension, and Serengeti Clarity handled all of the flights and arrangements seamlessly. They selected a beautiful resort that was the perfect way to end our honeymoon. Beyond the safari itself, we appreciated how much the team shared about Tanzanian culture, values, traditions, and daily life. They answered every question we had with patience and grace, which made the experience even more meaningful. The only thing we would change is staying longer! We would recommend Serengeti Clarity without hesitation and cannot wait to return to Tanzania someday. ttable moments that we will cherish forever. What truly set Daniel apart was the level of care he provided throughout the entire trip. He took care of every detail, from navigating long drives and arranging lunches to cleaning the vehicle, setting up Wi-Fi, offering refreshments, and even helping us capture incredible photos. No request was ever too much, and he always went out of his way with a smile and a positive attitude. Beyond being an outstanding guide, Daniel was wonderful company. We genuinely enjoyed spending time with him during camp dinners and throughout our journey. His kindness, professionalism, sense of humor, and genuine care made the trip even more special. By the end of our safari, he felt more like a friend than a guide. Daniel played a huge role in making this the trip of a lifetime, and we are so grateful for everything he did for us. We would recommend him without hesitation to anyone visiting Tanzania. If you have the opportunity to have Daniel as your guide, consider yourself incredibly lucky—you will be in the best hands possible.

A truly memorable day trip
5/5

We booked a private day trip from Arusha to Serval Wildlife, with a drop-off in Moshi at the end of the day. We would like to thank Alex for his excellent service. He arrived on time in the morning, drove very safely and smoothly throughout the trip, and made the whole journey comfortable and enjoyable.

We had a wonderful day and really enjoyed the experience. Choosing this private transfer was definitely the right decision. Highly recommended, especially if you are looking for a reliable and professional driver. Thank you, Alex!

An unforgettable safari experience!
5/5

Our group recently completed a multi-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well organized, and the level of service exceeded all our expectations.

The entire staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. A special mention goes to our guide Freddie, who was truly outstanding. His passion, expertise, patience, and ability to spot wildlife made every game drive unforgettable. It is rare to meet someone so dedicated and genuinely committed to making every guest’s experience special. We were lucky to have him as our guide.

We would also like to thank Louis and Felix, who were the guides in the other two jeeps. The whole team made us feel welcome, safe, and cared for throughout the journey.

Another highlight was the food. James, our chef, did an amazing job every single day. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were always delicious, plentiful, and surprisingly varied considering we were on safari. He was constantly attentive to everyone’s dietary needs and preferences, making sure every guest was satisfied.

The breathtaking landscapes of Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro combined with such an exceptional team created memories that will stay with us forever. We highly recommend this safari to anyone looking for an authentic, comfortable, and perfectly organized adventure in Tanzania.

Thank you, Freddie, Louis, Felix, James, and the entire team for an unforgettable experience! We hope to return one day.

The itinerary was well-planned, and the overall experience was good.
4/5

We were able to see most of the common large animals, but what we needed to see were more exciting herds of animals. That depends on luck. We sat in the car for too long, and it seemed we didn't have a chance to interact with the animals, which was a bit of a shame.

Amazing Experience!
5/5

We had an unforgettable safari experience with Peter Ngigi. We did the 4-day tour from Nairobi, visiting the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Naivasha. Over the course of the trip, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five, as well as many other animals including leopards, lions, rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and various antelope species. The scenery was stunning throughout and made the experience even more special.

Peter Ngigi was an excellent guide. He was friendly, easy to get along with, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the wildlife and the local area. His knowledge of the roads and parks was remarkable, he seemed to know exactly where to go without needing GPS. He also had an amazing eye for spotting wildlife.

A huge thank you to Peter for making this such a memorable trip. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend him to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

Great value, run by the owner directly, and the guide Tuma makes the whole trip
5/5

After doing this safari, my honest takeaway is that the real difference between companies comes down to your guide. Once you are inside the Serengeti, almost everyone has the same Land Cruiser, so what shapes your experience is the driver and guide: how professional, knowledgeable, brave, accommodating, and friendly they are, and how good their English is. On that front, my guide Tuma was fantastic. Knowledgeable, easy to talk to, great English, and he went above and beyond every single day to get us close to the animals and into good photo positions. He also understands photography, which mattered a lot to me. Whenever I brought out my zoom lens, he would cut the engine so the vibration would not blur my shots. A real pro. Honestly, about 70% of my recommendation comes down to my experience with Tuma, so if you book with this company, ask for Tuma.

A few words on the company itself, because the structure is part of the value. Kilimanjaro Select is big in Tanzania and in the Chinese market, but they have not pushed into the US market because of the advertising cost here. The upside is real. Prices are fair, and the operation is local, so you talk to the owner directly instead of paying for agencies and flashy marketing. The owner is candid and honest. We were not familiar with local tipping norms, so we just asked him directly, and he gave us a straight answer.

The food deserves its own shout-out. Having a chef with you is a real advantage when you stay in campsites, especially for travelers from Asia. Our chef knew how to cook for an Asian palate, and the meals were consistently excellent. There were several moments where other groups looked over at our table and said our food looked delicious. We watched other groups eating cold sandwiches and bread while we had hot, fresh meals. That difference clearly comes from the company's experience catering to Chinese guests.

The whole thing is essentially full service from the moment you land to the moment you leave. You can also build your own custom itinerary. You tell them what you want, they come back with a new quote, and it is easy. I extended my tour from eight days to nine, and they even gave me a free extra hotel night and dropped me at the airport at the end. They take care of everything in between.

One small wrinkle: I booked a private tour, but the day before the tour started, they told me another traveler would be joining me. The overall experience was good, and they gave me a generous discount, but it wasn't communicated in advance, so it felt a little abrupt at the start.

Overall, this was a great experience from beginning to end. I would happily book with them again on a future trip to Tanzania, because I trust their experience, and the value is hard to beat. Just make sure you get a good guide. If you trust my word, contact Kilimanjaro Select and ask for Tuma. You will have a great time.

Great safari with a very good organisation and great guides
5/5

We had a 7-day trip to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli! It was really amazing and we saw every animal we wanted to see. We had three quides who were really nice and gave lots of information about the animals. Only the fact that we had to change the group quite often was a bit exhausting. Everything else was great! We were lucky to have some amazing views on the animals, even lionesses with very young cubs! It was absolutely beautiful. Everything was very well organised and we would surely recommend Jocky Tours!

Your perfect choice for Tanzania Safari
5/5

We booked our entire safari from Italy, and the process was incredibly smooth thanks to Boris. He accommodated all of our requests and was always available to assist us. Given the uncertainty of the current global situation and potential flight disruptions, we especially appreciated his support and flexibility in case our flights were affected.

Upon arriving in Arusha, the Akondo team welcomed us and gave us a great introduction to the city. The real adventure began the following day, when David picked us up for an unforgettable 4-day safari through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti National Parks.

David was an exceptional guide. His English was excellent, and his many years of safari experience allowed him to take us to the best wildlife viewing spots. We felt very fortunate to have him leading our journey.

Everything was perfectly organized by the Akondo team. The hotels were comfortable and well-maintained, while the lodges exceeded all expectations—an outstanding selection that made the experience even more special.

We highly recommend Akondo Adventures to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent service made this a truly unforgettable experience.
