Overall the experience was excellent and we were lucky enough to see quite a lot of animals. Professional drivers and I also met other friendly tourists. Hotel is less fancy and has some power supply issues but it’s understandable given its location in the wild.

When you go on safari there are two sides, the time you see the animals and the time you search for them, which is the longer time. King Mufasa not only makes sure you enjoy the first one, but makes the second one the best. Our ranger, Brighton, made our Safari experience truly special and fun. Not only he took care of what we wanted to see, but he really connected with us and we really enjoyed the time with him. He’s the best ranger for everyone who is not simply there to see the beasts 🥰, but who wants to make the stay special.
Davis, the manager, is available and ready to give the recommendations and advices on the safari, and he can help you organizing!
The food we got was always delicious, the lodges beautiful and the game drives exciting. Be prepared, safari can be unexpected, even in Safari luxury lodges water can be temporary down for a couple of hours, and things such as a broken car can happen and can be in the order of the day (it happen to us too on the last day), but our ranger tried his best to make the unforeseen better and take care of they issue, he always got our back.
We will for sure come back to Tanzania and whenever that’ll be, we will choose King Mufasa again!

We had an absolutely amazing safari experience, and our guide Peter played a huge role in making it unforgettable. He was very attentive, always professional, and made sure all our wishes were considered throughout the trip. Thanks to his expertise, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five as well as the Ugly Five, which made the experience even more special.
Peter was communicative and friendly, creating a great atmosphere within the group. Over the days, we really bonded and felt like a small travel family. At all times, we felt safe, warmly welcomed, and well taken care of—both during the game drives and at every accommodation.
All lodges were excellent, offering great comfort and hospitality. Overall, this was an exceptional and truly unforgettable safari experience that we can highly recommend.
