During the planning phase, our trip was custom-designed according to our wishes and schedule. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and welcome. We are a family of four (two adult "kids" and their parents) and were guided by Edwin and Patrick for what became the most memorable journey. The two of them always knew the best locations to spot wildlife, while completely respecting the animals' privacy as we took our time watching them. They shared a wealth of knowledge about the animals as well as the different cultures of Kenya.
Our stops included the Masai Mara (Game Drive Safari), Lake Naivasha (Boat Safari), Amboseli National Park (Game Drive Safari), Hell's Gate National Park (Bike Safari), and Diani Beach (People Safari 😃).
One of our main highlights was cooking with the Kikuyu women. It was such a special moment; we were welcomed so warmly into their homes and shared so many laughs and stories.

John Mwangi was an incredible guide!
We had a wonderful private safari experience in both the Masai Mara Park and Lake Nakuru. We got to see all of the big 5 as well as many other animals around the parks. Our guide John Mwangi was very knowledgeable about the animals and was eager to help us get the best out of our short yet adventure filled experience in Kenya!

Amazing and perfectly organized

Our guide is extremely trustworthy, seasoned and always takes great care of us.
Before departure, the staff replied to our messages promptly and clearly, arranging our itinerary patiently without confusing jargon. During the trip, we ran into a minor dispute over dining arrangements at the hotel. Our guide handled the matter very professionally, and we could reach the team members at any time. They mediated and resolved the issue right away, greatly easing our travel worries.
We had a few unpleasant moments due to scheduling hiccups along the way, yet the staff took proactive steps to fix everything, which we fully appreciate. All in all, this was a wonderful and unforgettable African safari experience. I will absolutely bring my family to travel with them again in the future.

Stanley’s knowledge and love for Kenya was evident!
Maasai Mara was truly breathtaking. Lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, etc! Our guide also took us to Lake Naivasha where we got to see hippos and an eagle snatch a fish! This was worth the investment. A true bucket list experience!

They were perfect!!!
We were welcomed in such a warm and friendly way from the very beginning. We were picked up directly from our hotel and enjoyed a smooth, hassle-free transfer to the safari park.
Judith and our driver were incredibly kind and genuinely lovely. They did everything they could to make sure we saw all the animals we had hoped to see. Judith shared fascinating information about every animal we encountered, which made the experience even more special.
They went above and beyond to ensure our safari was comfortable and enjoyable, and they stayed cheerful, friendly, and smiling throughout the entire day.
I will wholeheartedly recommend them to all of my family and friends. If I ever come back, I would definitely want to do another safari with the same team. They gave us an unforgettable experience that we will always remember. We love Judith!! :)

We would recommend Serengeti Clarity to others!
Serengeti Clarity provided exceptional customer service. Kagoma was very patient and responsive to all my questions and concerns about the Safari booking. Frank, the owner, also answered any additional concerns I had in a timely manner. I mentioned this was a birthday trip during our booking and was disappointed nothing was planned or acknowledged when we started our safari. However, when I reached out to Frank during the middle of my safari, he made a point to have something planned and ready when we returned back to Arusha. I appreciated that. I also liked that we had the option of paying the remaining balance in person instead of before arrival like many other tour companies. They also did not add additional fuel surcharges due to the current world events after the agreed price while I heard other companies did. Serengeti Clarity also offered the best and fair price compared to others.
Our guide Emmanuel was a very experienced, cautious and safe driver. He cleaned the car daily which was much needed due to the dusts. Emmanuel knew all the roads and turns inside the parks without getting lost which was very impressive. He was flexible and accommodating with what we wanted to see and do. He provided education on many animals and other species. Emmanuel was also on time every day for our games. We did games from early morning to late afternoon with no rush to head back to our accommodations. Emmanuel was kind, patient and reassured us that he was able to drive us to the airport for our late night departure which was very much appreciated. Emmanuel provided exceptional service!
We only had one issue which was the car. We were shown pictures of the car beforehand because it was important that we would have a comfortable car for our long journey. When we arrived to pay the balance in person, the office told us the 4x4 didn’t have AC. While the weather was not exceptionally hot, the AC would have been helpful when we needed to keep the windows closed due to the dusts, especially in Serengeti. Instead, we had to keep rolling the windows up and down to avoid dusts or to get air. Also, when we were driving through the clouds on top of the Ngorongoro crater, it was dangerous due to the windows getting foggy without the AC. The seats had no armrests so it was hard to hold on to something when most of the roads are unpaved and extremely bumpy during the games. Most of the seatbelts also did not work. The car was tough though and was able to get through the rough roads and water streams. Again, Emmanuel’s driving skills came in very handy with this car.
The car had a charging station in the front, cooler, backseat pockets, bag for garbage, radio for your music and pop up top for viewing. WiFi didn’t work at the start of our journey but we didn’t really need it because we were busy with the games. WiFi did work on our way back to Arusha.
Overall, we visited Tarangire National Park, Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater for 6 days. We saw the big 5, the ugly 5 and many other species. We also saw a kill and feedings. This was an experience we will never forget and we will definitely consider booking with Serenity Clarity again in the future. We met another couple during our hot air balloon ride who shared their negative experience about their guide and tour company and I’m glad we did not have to go through that. We would recommend Serengeti Clarity to others!
