Amazing. Simply Amazing.
5/5

Just returned from our first safari vacation. WOW. I cannot find the words to adequately describe just how amazing this trip was. Our entire trip took place in Tanzania, starting in Arusha then to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti. I’ll start with the game drives. I think we just expected to see a few animals through binoculars. I was blown away by the amount and variety of animals as well as the fact that we could get so close to many of them. We saw all the common wildlife as well as ALL of the big five.
Probably the most memorable part of the game drive portion of the entire trip was when we arrived at Lobo airstrip for the Serengeti portion of our trip. Our guide, Mokili, was standing at the door of our airplane when we stepped off. He introduced himself, grabbed our bags and took us to our Land Cruiser. After a few moments of getting to know each other, Moki asked what we most wanted to see. My wife immediately said, “elephants” and we found out that elephants had a special place in Moki’s heart and were his favorite as well. Moki shared some stories of elephant rescues that he had been involved with over the years and we quickly understood why they were so special to him. My answer was “cats”. Moki asked why and I just said that they are usually the hardest to find and it’s rare to see them. Moki told us that our camp was to the left but he heard that about a 45 minute drive to the right, that a cheetah had been seen and wanted to know if we wanted to drive that far to see if she was still there……”yes”. So, we drove 45 minutes and found her, “Super Woman” still there. We learned that she was named “Super Woman” because she had five cubs and that all five had lived to be 8 months old which is extremely rare. We were watching this beautiful girl and noticed about 40 yards away that we could see another cheetah. Not only was it just another one but it was all five of her cubs. Unbelievable.
The next day Moki took us to a spot where we were able to hang out with a pride of 17 lions for about an hour. Just the three of us with 17 lions for an hour within just a few feet of our vehicle. After spending time with the lions, we went to a mud/water hole where we watched five different families of elephants come to cool off with a mud bath.
When we left for this trip, I think our only expectation was to just do game drives all day, every day. What we found was that there was much more to this experience. From the moment we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport, we were treated like royalty. On top of being treated like royalty, each day was filled with little surprises that just set this entire trip apart. I want to describe these little surprises, but it would be like telling the ending of a movie to someone who has not seen it yet. It would ruin it so I will just leave it at that.
I really hate to start saying names because I am sure I will miss someone. There were so many who did so much and worked so hard to make this experience unforgettable. But I will do my best to name as many as I can. First, our host who was our very first contact, Eve. She really set the stage to get this trip off to an awesome start and she was there at the end to make sure we were sent off properly.
Samwel, our butler at Arusha. The man is a mind reader. He knew where we were and what we wanted before we did.
Sembeke, our first guide for our first game drives. A true professional and we consider a friend now.
Mokili, our guide for our Migration Camp/Serengeti drives. The man just knows the animals and has the eye of an eagle. We really enjoyed our time on the drives and spotting animals but even more so, getting to know Moki and hearing his story of how he got to where he is. A story that WE pulled out of him, not that he brought up. A great human being and we hope to see again one day.

Best in budget class
5/5

Thank you, Tall Masai Safari, for organizing such an amazing safari experience. Everything was well arranged—from transportation and accommodation, food to the game drives. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and we were fortunate to see the Great Migration, lions, elephants, leopard, cheetas, giraffes, and much more. It was a truly unforgettable experience. I would happily recommend Tall Masai Safari to anyone planning a trip to Masai Mara. Thank you, Benson and the team, for making this adventure so memorable! 🦁🐘🇰🇪

Unforgettable trip
5/5

Lulu Safaris gave us the opportunity to discover Uganda through a well-planned and complete itinerary that allowed us to experience the country's nature, its wonderful people, and its rich culture.

We were incredibly lucky to have Audence as our guide. He made this journey even more special. He is an outstanding driver, a fun travel companion, and a wonderful storyteller who shared with us not only the history and culture of Uganda, but also his extensive knowledge of the national parks and their incredible wildlife.

Throughout the trip, he was always attentive to our requests and needs, making sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. He also handled every unexpected situation along the way with confidence, professionalism, and calm, which made us feel safe at all times.

Uganda is an extraordinary destination, Lulu Safaris is the perfect company to experience it with, and Audence is, without a doubt, the best guide we could have asked for. We couldn't recommend them more highly.

essentially flawless
5/5

The safari that Dancing Zebra planned was probably my favorite vacation/travel of my entire life (although I am only twenty, so take that with a grain of salt). The planning and logistics were outstanding and everything went off without a hitch and without stress. All of the places we stayed exceeded expectations in terms of service, accommodations, and food. Oh my god the food was so good. Our guide Frank was outstanding, funny, talkative, knowledgeable, and a great photographer. And of course, the most important part, the wildlife and game drives. Tanzania was unlike anything else I've ever seen. It actually felt like being in national geographic. I can't recommend Dancing Zebra enough

Amazing 10 day gorilla and safari tour
5/5

We did a 10 day gorilla and safari tour in June with Bamboo Ecotours and had an absolutely incredible experience. It was easy to organise with Edison over email, and we were picked up from the airport and taken straight onto the adventure!
The tour was amazing, the variety in the days and activities was wonderful, and everywhere we stayed was great with lovely accommodation and good food.
Our guide Fred really made the trip too, sharing lots of interesting information with us on the way, finding us lots of wonderful wildlife sightings and he was really helpful and accommodating throughout.
We couldn’t have asked for any more from our trip and would 100% booking with Bamboo Ecotours, fantastic value and service.

Beyond My Expectations from Start to FinisH
5/5

I had an excellent 7-day safari in Uganda organized by this company, with Gervase as my guide and driver.

The communication before the trip was smooth and professional. I booked only about five months in advance, which is relatively late for the high season, yet they still managed to secure all the permits I needed, including gorilla trekking.

Everything was very well organized, the accommodations were great, and the itinerary ran smoothly. Gervase was knowledgeable, professional, flexible, and genuinely passionate about Uganda and its wildlife. He always looked for ways to make the experience even better.

The gorilla trekking in Bwindi was the highlight of the trip. Thanks to Gervase's extra effort and coordination with the rangers, I ended up visiting the largest gorilla families, making an already unforgettable experience even more special.

A small example of his dedication: I jokingly mentioned that I liked the shirts worn by the guides, and he immediately arranged for me to get one during the trip. It was a small gesture, but it perfectly reflected how much he cared about his guests.

I highly recommend this company to anyone planning a safari in Uganda. If you have the chance to travel with Gervase as your guide, you will be in excellent hands.

Trip of a lifetime
5/5

We had a great 9D8N safari to Kenya and Tanzania thanks to Splendid Vacations. The whole experience starting from receiving quote to itinerary planning and eventual trip was well organised, seamless and very much splendid. It started with Rachael who was very effective in communicating the options and price range as well as tailoring the itinerary to other elements we wanted to incorporate (Maasai village tour, Hot Air Balloon safari in Serengti). Rachael did a great job in replying quickly and was clear in her communication, making the admin process very seamless

On the ground in Kenya & Tanzania, we were very lucky to have 3 incredible guides. We had Julius for the first part of our Kenya trip, Jackson for Tanzania and Alex for the second part of Kenya. All three guides did an excellent job in sharing their knowledge of the animals, making sure we had the best positions for photos of the wildlife and were conscious in helping us find the animals we really wanted to see (big cats). My wife and I really appreciated that they constantly checked in on us to ensure we were comfortable throughout the trip and confirming /adjusting the plan each day based on what we wanted to see. It was a brilliant safari and this is a trip we thoroughly enjoyed and will hopefully be back in Africa soon!

Trip of a lifetime!! Topy tours made our experience unforgettable!
5/5

From the minute we landed at the airport we were treated with the best of Tanzania. Super respectful, kind, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Our trip was incredible. But our guide Ben made it the trip of a lifetime. His knowledge of the animals, and the Tanzania culture was incredible. We instantly were not just clients, but friends. We enjoyed every minute of our trip with Ben. There was never a dull moment. From the animals to learning about the history and culture of the area, Ben kept us entertained and taught us more than we ever expected. We have travelled all over the world, and our trip with Ben is the top highlight of our travels.
