I traveled to Tanzania with my girlfriend and her family, six of us in total, and thanks to Chuke Adventures, it turned out to be an unforgettable trip.
Swaleh handled every detail of the organization: accommodations, airport transfers both ways, the city tour in Arusha, and of course the safari itself. Nothing was left to chance, and all six of us had our individual needs taken care of. He was remarkably quick to respond during the entire planning process, and he even took the time to greet us in person when we landed and again when we left.
Day one was spent exploring Arusha with Daniel, Voya, and Everest, the team's photographer. We wandered through the city's main sights together, including a visit to the local market, and shared a traditional meal with the group, a real highlight for all of us.
From there, Swaleh connected us with Rocky, our safari guide, who alongside Everest led us through three incredible parks: Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.
Both places we stayed at, Haado Coffee Lodge and Safari Haven Tented Camp, exceeded expectations in terms of comfort. What stood out even more was the food during the game drives, rather than basic packed lunches, we were served freshly prepared traditional meals each day.
Rocky deserves special praise. His depth of knowledge about the parks and the wildlife was remarkable, and he never rushed us, always answering our questions patiently and letting us take in every moment, true to the local "pole pole" spirit.
Chuke Adventures has our full recommendation. Anyone planning a Tanzania trip should look no further. We're already looking forward to going back. Asante Sana!

A special mention must go to our guide, Robert, who was exceptional throughout the trip. His ability to spot animals from incredible distances was truly remarkable and allowed us to see far more wildlife than we ever expected. He was kind, patient, professional and incredibly knowledgeable, always happy to answer questions and share insights about the animals, environment and local culture.
What stood out most was how dedicated Robert was to ensuring we had the best possible experience. He went above and beyond to maximise every game drive, always striving to find great sightings while making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Unforgettable budget safari!
Incredible tour from start to finish! Peter from the Axis team took so much time and effort to patiently explain various options and packages while we were planning. When we went to the office in Nairobi, the entire team was lovely and incredibly helpful. A huge highlight was celebrating my birthday during the trip—Peter and the team made sure the camp arranged a surprise celebration and a cake. It was completely unexpected and extremely sweet of them!
Our guide, Caxstone, was great. He is an expert driver who easily manoeuvred through some very tough and challenging roads, and he had an answer for every single question we threw at him. He made some brilliant executive decisions, like driving us straight to the Masai Mara for a game drive on Day 1 instead of waiting for the typical evening drive after check-in. Because of which we maximized our first day, got extra hours in the park, and incredibly saw all of the Big Five on our very first day! He consistently made great decisions and put a lot of effort into making sure we had incredible wildlife sightings throughout the whole trip.
They included some decent options for accommodation and lunch stops. Some of our camps were beautifully located with better amenities than competing tours. We never felt like we missed out on anything, despite being on a budget. Highly recommend!
